He chuckled and decided to approach them as well, his staff being used as a walking stick. 'I guess if they're going to report for duty for work, I might as well.' Lower level academy? If she recalled, she only went for a few days and used the excuse,'I was there, but in the shadows.' quite a lot. This was new to her, but she didn't say anything about that. "Ophelia, reporting to duty." She stated simply, staring at the guy through her eye lashes. He was very attractive, but he didn't seem like he would be into her. Lia looked at him with confident, professional eyes.
All the nuggets who had reported for duty at Brydent would find themselves being spun on the spot and turned to face some generic fairhair guy. He was a hulking mass of muscles and had a face that read he was strictly here for business and none of that fancy character development. "If you guys are seriously blind, deaf, and dumb then I congratulate you for finding your way to Fort Makath. If you actually caught what our Lord Zacariah just said then you know what you should be doing. Root out the Vangelists, find the humans, and rip their heads from their necks. So take your little asses and head on out to the outskirts of Nocturne and find something to kill. If you make it back alive we'll consider you a useful member of society and keep you around. Am I clear?" The man asked without actually waiting for an answer. These days people rarely came to the fort for actual training. They tended to pick up skills along the way or buy them. If someone actually wanted to go through skills training he would assist because as an NPC he is fluid and can be changed to suit the person who needs him.

Radek was turned around as he soon looked at the fairhair, quickly getting annoyed but dismissed it as they were given a mission already. From the Lord of demons himself, to eradicate anything that didn't submit to the legion of Demons. Radek was quick to start moving as he looked back to the duo that were also ready for work. "Come on, you heard the fairhair and the new king, let's get moving!" Radek shouted as he held his staff at his side.

Din was currently waiting for news about another mission from Lilith, but sighed a bit as he heard nothing from it before he soon heard some small talk. It seemed as though there was a barrier outside of the nation, but undetected by the other countries, who all debunked it as a myth and a figment of traveler's imagination. The last human who had seen it, spoke of it and it's location before he died as Din moved towards the two beings who were talking about it. One of them was a Dullahan while the other one being a vampire, who were both disgusted with the sight of Din. But Din wasn't interested in hearing their grunts as he was quick to get ahold of them both as he soon asked them, "Give me the location to this barrier... I wish to go and seek it out." He told them both before the Dullahan sighed and granted him a strange looking key. As Din took it, he released them, but before he could ask any more questions, they were gone like the wind. Din sighed and examined the key as he could sense a small amount of magic inside of it, hoping some of it would assist in leading him to where he needed to go. Infact, it assisted him moreso than usual as he gained a small idea of where to go, moving out of the Caz to get out of the city as he used his Ghost Car legs to travel. ((Exits))
Kumori arrived at the Combat Assessment Zone, the place he thought would help him change Pronta for the better. However, as he arrived, he placed a hand on some untouched equipment while his eyes were analyzing the equipment. It seemed old, rustic, and with most of CAZ occupied by demons training with weaker soldiers, Kumori seemed to have some regrets allowing a demon into his spirit. His own anger was beginning to rise and boil, feeling like Molten lava inside of his chest before he broke one of the old swords with a satisfying snap, leaving it in place as he released the blade part his hand had a grasp up. The entire blade of the sword just fell off without it's tang as Kumori shook his head.
• Utilize Broken Strength This is automatically activated upon the user achieving a broken arm. The energy and muscle stimulating shocks sent to the broken arm are transfered from the arm to the rest of the user, most of it going to the other arm. This allows the broken limb to be numbed to pain but can be restored at an easier pace. This helps the broken being to weild heavy weaponry with only a single arm like a weapons master, except they do not have access to any of the Weapon Master's skills.
• Shadow Form Most, if not all, physical attacks simply phase through the user. This can be a good and a bad thing. If all the opponent has all weapon and hand to hand styles, then the techniques that do not have energy coated on the weapons will simply go right through the user, making all other attacks useless. This is also bad because if the Shade attempts to attack, once can aim a physical attack at him, forcing him to turn himself into his shadowy form. By disrupting him, all of the skills he used are turned into smoke. The user may also chose to go into his incorporeal form once every three posts, at which point he can't attack.
• Shadow Regeneration The Shades are known to be living and breathing elementals of darkness. Because of that, they are capable of recovering at a slow rate while residing in dark areas or in an ally's shadow. The body is constantly healing for as long as they are within darkness and having their weapons put away. The rate of healing increases with the duration they remain in the darkness. During the regeneration process, the user cannot use offensive Bloodline or Elemental skills. If they are attacked, they have to restart recovery at the slowest rate. 1 post: Small cuts & bruises are healed. 2 Posts: Gashes are turned into small cuts. 3 Posts: Broken limbs can recover within three constant posts inside of darkness. 4 Posts: Internal injuries or burns from light/flame/holy techniques can be recovered. 5 posts: An entire missing body part can be restored at a slow, and painful rate(Excluding the head or torso and it takes 5 full posts waiting in darkness to recover.).
• Shadowy Trail A Shade does not cast a shadow, but can choose to merge with the shadow of an ally, similar to a ninja. In doing so, the Shade can act as a hidden bodyguard, emerging from the allies shadow at will. The Shade can't be detected other than by holy creatures such as Nephilims, or Paladins and Clerics.
• Shadow MQC You can now bend the shadows around you to reach your opponent that would be two spears away from you as you can attack them normally while retaining regular damage. The Shade can perform D-ranked damage when at their full strength while in this fighting style, but this is the only range modifyer this style has. This does not spread to other styles, nor weapons can benefit from learning this ability as this is to be the shade's main Fighting style.
• Vibration Sensory A useful skill, the user channels energy into their feet to sense vibrations on the ground. As long as their feet is on the ground, a user can sense where an enemy is if they are earth bound within 50ft for five posts. This skill becomes passive once the user is Adept Rank.
• Miza's backshield So long as Kumori keeps Miza sheathed on his back, he is able to resist more damage to his back. But the downside is that she can only resist up to D-rank attacks, C ranks causes a rank down in damage and B and higher cause full damage.
• Trusted Wielder This Skill requires you to beat the Spirit inside of the Sword. Miza the Terror can only acknowledge those who can defeat her in combat besides Kumori Hell. Those who can hold her after the defeat of the Sword's spirit, can become one with the sword, gaining the knowledge to use her full potential of the Weapon Style: Miza the Terror. Be wary of the weapon style itself as it can kill the user if they misuse the Style's own techniques, the spirit would even warn them to be careful.
• Miza The Terror Weapon Style Miza has her own Weapon Style.
• Phantom Plane Origins The user's clothing emits a powerful substance of destruction, known as a Black Shuck Virus. The virus comes out to a maximum of 5 feet in battle, but only 2 feet out of fighting. Staying within the reach of the virus, the foe's own shadow vanishes if they are in the virus's range for 4 posts. Kumori's own shadow skill techniques will gain an increase of one rank for the shadows absorbed into his body(maximum shadows needed: 2) and can only last for 5 posts. As well as performing this, the user no longer suffers energy penalties caused from his class.
• Demonic Prowess The blood of the innocent courses through Kumori's non-existant veins, powering his body through death itself. As such, his max energy pool has been increased by 700 while every single one of Kumori's Earth Elemental attacks are now boosted with a natural life draining energy. Any earth that Kumori has influenced with his energy, becomes inhabitable by plantations, but unaffects other mortal creatures. Kumori's weapons and armor can effect skill barriers, normal/skill shields, and Armor.
Upon hearing the sound of a blade being broken, Alistair's head snapped to the one who caused the sound. As his azure eyes set upon the Shade, he remembered long ago sending this one away from the city. Now, here he was, breaking Lumirian property. Property secured by Alistair. Though he was no longer king, or anyone of importance really, in spirit this was all still his. "Is there a reason why you are breaking things, or are you going through some mellow dramatic phase that I most likely wouldn't care to know about?"

"Well, I haven't seen you around in a while Alistair. I'm just disappointed in how far down the crapper this place went with the demons providing their own weapons." Kumori told the man before he soon picked up the broken blade and placed it onto the handle. "Repairing it doesn't even take that much either.... just natural this thing would be brittle when it wasn't in proper use after Pronta was destroyed."

Alistair spent most of his time wandering the city, so he found it odd that the boy had not seen him prior to this moment. In fact, Alistair had even been keeping tabs on most of the people he saw walking in and out of Nocturne, as it provided perhaps the only entertaining thing to do in his position. Without swearing fealty to the demon king, Alistair wasn't allowed to participate in military activities. His presence in the CAZ was unwelcome as well, not that any of the guards would dare to try and remove him. "Pronta wasn't exactly the most defensive nation. The fact that they destroyed that city without proper weapons proves my point. I heard they even ravaged the countryside with little resistance. Yet here you are. In the presence of those who destroyed your old city."

Kumori was one who traveled via Dimensional Demon gates, due to his allegiance to the king after deserting Pronta from their peace agreement. Kumori wasn't one who stood with the cowardly, but he's been starting to question his own motives and hell, even his own powers. He fought against the same opponent now, both of them still triumphant over him and yet, the anger he felt from it didn't even last up till now. He soon heard Alistair talk and began to think for a moment, soon turning his head off to see a demon fighting with another against one soldier. A simple glow faintly came from his eyes before he closed them and calmed both his breathing and heartbeating down, metaphorically speaking since he lacks either. "The nation would've been the perfect defense if it had a true leader guiding it.... the Dragon was trying to Militarize it and Maria couldn't stand an attack of war.... but the proof is in the rubble. The rumors you hear are all true because they were spread about by some unreliable soldiers from the battle... didn't take long for them to be eighty-sixed." Kumori responded before he had to think and ponder once more, soon sighing a bit as he pointed out the obvious, of Kumori being here instead of in Kusana now, where any Pronta Refugee would be at to recover. "You're right, I'm here in the presence of the army and it's Warleader that destroyed the city I wanted to rule.... destroyed what I wanted to.... protect." Kumori soon looked at the demons once more before he turned his attention to Alistair and shook his head. "It's all in the past now, all that matters is that Pronta and it's nation are gone, over-run with demons with the neighboring nation attempts at taking it back over."

The words Kumori spoke were immediately dismissed by Alistair. The man wasn't looking for excuses or lies, and Kumori was a fool for trying to say such things to the one man who could see through it all. No, Kumori was here for a reason. Whether it was to serve Zachariah or to further his own goals, Alistair didn't particularly care -- as long as he wasn't lied to. This kingdom would not be in Zachariah's possession for long, many would try and seize it before too long. Alistair, on the other hand would rather watch from behind the scenes. Those were his motives, despite everything he told Zachariah upon their first meeting. "Secrets given to us by plebeians hoping to gain favor from Nocturne are what kept this nation strong. No other nation dared to attack us, to attack me. It's only fitting that the nation fell from the inside. Demons who appeared wherever they liked... nasty little creatures aren't they? Always seeking worshipers to distribute their power to make them loyal to their cause. I think everyone would accept that kind of offer? Wouldn't you?" Alistair considered himself the exception. Zachariah came to Alistair's gates several times over.The demon sent his lackeys to try and appeal to Alistair before forcibly taking the city, offering to make the King his Champion. The thought of being the champion for a glorified war monger was perhaps the worst sort of existence he could imagine. No, Alistair never sought destruction. He never cared for sieges, or politics. What the man only ever sought out was power.

Kumori was mainly speaking without thinking, so he wasn't necessarily thinking or trying to speak of excuses, but instead looked to the fallen king once more. The king seemed to dismissed what Kumori said, causing the shade to merely chuckle before he began to speak. Kumori listened intently to the man's words."Secrets given to us by plebeians hoping to gain favor from Nocturne are what kept this nation strong. No other nation dared to attack us, to attack me. It's only fitting that the nation fell from the inside. Demons who appeared wherever they liked... nasty little creatures aren't they? Always seeking worshipers to distribute their power to make them loyal to their cause. I think everyone would accept that kind of offer? Wouldn't you?" His first sentence rubbed Kumori the wrong way, as if he felt insulted for being called nothing more than a commoner. But he kept his cool as the man continued to speak, about how the nation was never challenged, how he was never challenged. He was right about a few things though, the nation falling from the inside from rebellion was very fitting for how the god of war ran things. But the other things hit Kumori straight in the spirit, causing him to grit his teeth before he looked down at his own left hand. He mainly sought out power, but he never did think about the long run... strip him of all the power he had and he could only rely on his trusted weapon and his own fists. His eyes flashed dark red before Kumori calmed down and looked to Alistair once more.
"You're right..." Was all Kumori could say at first, the King before him was right about anything and everything he spoke about the demons and heck, even about the nation. Kumori gritted his teeth, starting to realize what he had become, just another pawn that could've been played. With that, and a swing of his hand, Kumori couldn't help but blast a hole in the wall behind him. "Dammit, why the hell did you have to be right?!" Kumori questioned before he looked outside, his teeth gritting before he turned back to Alistair, glaring at him for a mere moment before his eyes turned to resemble that of somber look. "Sorry about the outburst...." He spoke first, his only true apology he's ever made in life and it was only about destroying a bloody wall. "Look, I have a favor to ask of you, if you can assist me though."

• Vibration Sensory A useful skill, the user channels energy into their feet to sense vibrations on the ground. As long as their feet is on the ground, a user can sense where an enemy is if they are earth bound within 50ft for five posts. This skill becomes passive once the user is Adept Rank.
• Miza's backshield So long as Kumori keeps Miza sheathed on his back, he is able to resist more damage to his back. But the downside is that she can only resist up to D-rank attacks, C ranks causes a rank down in damage and B and higher cause full damage.
• Trusted Wielder This Skill requires you to beat the Spirit inside of the Sword. Miza the Terror can only acknowledge those who can defeat her in combat besides Kumori Hell. Those who can hold her after the defeat of the Sword's spirit, can become one with the sword, gaining the knowledge to use her full potential of the Weapon Style: Miza the Terror. Be wary of the weapon style itself as it can kill the user if they misuse the Style's own techniques, the spirit would even warn them to be careful.
• Miza The Terror Weapon Style Miza has her own Weapon Style.
• Phantom Plane Origins The user's clothing emits a powerful substance of destruction, known as a Black Shuck Virus. The virus comes out to a maximum of 5 feet in battle, but only 2 feet out of fighting. Staying within the reach of the virus, the foe's own shadow vanishes if they are in the virus's range for 4 posts. Kumori's own shadow skill techniques will gain an increase of one rank for the shadows absorbed into his body(maximum shadows needed: 2) and can only last for 5 posts. As well as performing this, the user no longer suffers energy penalties caused from his class.
• Demonic Prowess The blood of the innocent courses through Kumori's non-existant veins, powering his body through death itself. As such, his max energy pool has been increased by 700 while every single one of Kumori's Earth Elemental attacks are now boosted with a natural life draining energy. Any earth that Kumori has influenced with his energy, becomes inhabitable by plantations, but unaffects other mortal creatures. Kumori's weapons and armor can effect skill barriers, normal/skill shields, and Armor.
"Of course I'm right. I'm Alistair." The arrogance came hand in hand with the man's confidence. Though it wasn't like he meant to say it. One could say it just came out naturally. But while the Shade grew visibly more angry, Alistair continued to think to himself about various things. *What happened to my Phantoms? Took years to train those bitches...* When Kumori blew a hole in the wall, Alistair simply shrugged his shoulders. "I think someone should just designate that wall as the wall to destroy when you're going through the motions. Seems like everyone does it. Though what makes you think I owe you any favors?"

The cockiness of Alistair and a witty comment about oneself with their name as the reason, caused Kumori to just chuckle. He listened in as Alistair was talking about the wall before he brought up a question, as to why he should grant Kumori a favor. Kumori brought up his hand to his head, covering his eyes for a moment before he dragged it downward slowly to try and provoke his own mind to think for a moment. It ended up causing a small headache before Kumori's eyes of red looked to Alistair before he made a small snapping noise with his tongue as he began to speak. "Don't think of it as you owing me a favor, if you can help me improve myself, and even improve my ability to use the Kurah demon.... I'll owe you big. Anything you want, I'll do my best to pay you back."
• Utilize Broken Strength This is automatically activated upon the user achieving a broken arm. The energy and muscle stimulating shocks sent to the broken arm are transfered from the arm to the rest of the user, most of it going to the other arm. This allows the broken limb to be numbed to pain but can be restored at an easier pace. This helps the broken being to weild heavy weaponry with only a single arm like a weapons master, except they do not have access to any of the Weapon Master's skills.
• Shadow Form Most, if not all, physical attacks simply phase through the user. This can be a good and a bad thing. If all the opponent has all weapon and hand to hand styles, then the techniques that do not have energy coated on the weapons will simply go right through the user, making all other attacks useless. This is also bad because if the Shade attempts to attack, once can aim a physical attack at him, forcing him to turn himself into his shadowy form. By disrupting him, all of the skills he used are turned into smoke. The user may also chose to go into his incorporeal form once every three posts, at which point he can't attack.
• Shadow Regeneration The Shades are known to be living and breathing elementals of darkness. Because of that, they are capable of recovering at a slow rate while residing in dark areas or in an ally's shadow. The body is constantly healing for as long as they are within darkness and having their weapons put away. The rate of healing increases with the duration they remain in the darkness. During the regeneration process, the user cannot use offensive Bloodline or Elemental skills. If they are attacked, they have to restart recovery at the slowest rate. 1 post: Small cuts & bruises are healed. 2 Posts: Gashes are turned into small cuts. 3 Posts: Broken limbs can recover within three constant posts inside of darkness. 4 Posts: Internal injuries or burns from light/flame/holy techniques can be recovered. 5 posts: An entire missing body part can be restored at a slow, and painful rate(Excluding the head or torso and it takes 5 full posts waiting in darkness to recover.).

The Shade never really answered his question. Alistair was beyond the point of training anyone, and it wasn't like Kumori was a Novice or anything. The whole point of Alistair becoming a King was to get himself out of the Captain's office. There were many things wrong with the request that Kumori asked him for. The first being that he asked in the first place. Second, Alistair didn't care for the nurturing of others anymore. Thirdly... well there wasn't a third reason. The only thing Kumori had going for himself was that he shares a common trait with someone Alistair holds dear. Hawke herself was a Shade whom Alistair brought under his wing. But the situation was different. "I have no interest in your demon. Take my advice and just kill it and take it's power for your own." The idea of having a favor to call in did sound appealing. Though the tradeoff seemed awfully unbalanced. "I'll tell you what. I'll teach you a few tricks, I don't mind. But when the time comes to do my bidding, you won't ask questions. You will simply do my work. Under those terms, I don't have a problem reopening my Phantom Initiative."
