we had the board games because we're not really dancey people, and so the playlist we made for the ipod didn't really lend itself to dancing. we figured we'd have to provide some other way for people to keep themselves busy!

I had a bit of a haircut(read "had a trim"), but mostly straitened hair. Some new casual clothing too, but I'm only wearing one new shirt right now. And a new bag, since I'll be starting school tuesday to finally get my GED. confused

I went camping! Sort of.
Technically it was the Strawberry Music Festival, which my friends and I had tickets for since last January. There was a lot of good music, a lot of dust, some epic games of pingpong, and I wish I could've taken the night sky down and carried it around with me like a blanket. (Sooooo many stars.)
One of my favorite younger girls from high school choir, me, and my best friend - we all woke up and got dressed and realized we had on green tanktops.
Pretty standard situation...anytime I have a book, I give it more attention than anything else. I looked up like a second before she took this, and looked back down right after it flashed.
Epic pingpong! My friend Bam and I playing...at one point, everyone was laughing at us because we both had a Dr Pepper in one hand as we were playing (he's still got his, I think I'd set mine down at this point).
Me, my best friend, and the twins that I grew up with - I've known them since I was only a month or two old. I wouldn't love this picture nearly as much if it weren't for Sydney's face. <3
...okay, so this wasn't part of the camping trip, but I love love love this picture. >.> He's so nerdy and cute.
This is Hercules. He belongs to my baby sister (until I kidnap him and make him mine).
Size comparison - that's a sock. He's about the same size as the kitten two pictures up.

Cookies are amazing too, but I've had so many lately it's ridiculous. Seriously, my parents refused to buy me a sweet monkey cookie jar on the grounds I'd never make cookies. Also, nice pictures.
