Basically the same as the above comment: and please, don't call me darling. Not seriously, not jokingly, especially not condescendingly. I should make this a guild rule. sweatdrop Ohtori is a big school. It has lots of students. Most of these students are, in my theory and therefore in the setting of this roleplay, not real. They're part of the planetarium projector. No one notices this, however. Is anyone familiar with the old meaning of the term 'glamour'? It's a Scottish word meaning 'a spell which causes its victims to misperceive reality'. Normal conventions don't apply to the school, nor to Akio, nor to Anthy. Ohtori is a place of magic and illusion, and they are the beings responsible for it. (Hence, their NPC status.) But it does apply to the students.

OKAY, it wasn't being condescending, sorry if you guys saw it that way. Umm, I don't KNOW OOC information about the characters, so it's ACTUALLY impossible for me to use it. And I said above that, yes, okay, Ohtori may not apply because it's never within normal conventions.
Dream, stop attacking me. Not only does it get really old really fast, it makes the entire rp experience less enjoyable, as I have been yelled at for doing with my own fighting on occasion. I think with the multiple shrugs and faces in that comment I made it clear that I wasn't attacking anyone, if not, again, sorry it didn't come off the way I planned.
Sorry to Ivy, I won't call you darling again, it's just one of those things I do.

Vale Kinomoto OKAY, it wasn't being condescending, sorry if you guys saw it that way. Umm, I don't KNOW OOC information about the characters, so it's ACTUALLY impossible for me to use it. OOC information is any information that you, the player, has that the character does not. This includes other posts by other players about what their characters are doing or thinking. You've already skirted the edge with this statement: "Ivan's data had never suggested even a mild urge to crossdress." The implication is Bade's data is so extensive he should have known this, if Ivan was indeed a cross-dresser. Vale Kinomoto Dream, stop attacking me. I have not attacked you. If I attack you, you'll know it.

I misunderstood your comment on Ohtori. I thought you were saying Bade should be allowed to know these things because Ohtori is weird.
Actually, OOC information includes thoughts and character nuances added in posts, such as a dislike of, say, cheese, or a particular mental state. Hatred and prejudice, sneakiness, etc. Having a character 'know' about these things IC is also using OOC knowledge IC. 3nodding
Dream wasn't attacking you, she was just attempting to inform you why Bade isn't allowed to know all of the students in Ohtori. I dont see an attempt at attack in there.

Vale, she wasn't attacking you. Saying "excuse me" isn't any more of an attack that calling someone "darling", which when I first read I interpreted as condescending, so I understand where Ivy is coming from.
I have to agree, I think it is a bit of an exaggeration for Bade to have inside info on characters you haven't actually RPed him talking to. Sure, he can have files on random students that aren't in the RP, but as far as our chracters go it could be considered godmoding for Bade to know things you haven't RPed him seeing. You haven't done that yet, so it shouldn't be an issue... that's my two cents. =/

I guess I'll have to reiterate what I said to Dream in an IM. The lack of ability to insert a tone into posts makes it pretty hard to interpret, and just like it seems you all thought I was being condescending, this is at least the second time in a short period when I've felt like I was being attacked.
Equally, it's also the second time in the same short time that a post of mine has been misinterpreted so it's not hard to understand.
And in general, Bade doesn't make much reference to his 'data'. The thing about Ivan, well, sorry if it seemed like Bade had extensive research on him, it was just supposed to mean that what he'd seen of Ivan didn't suggest a pattern of crossdressing.
And, inside info is a bit of an overstatement.. The main things he knows anyways are little habits, not anything REALLY extensive or revealing. That is actually kept down to the people he interacts with or sees on a regular basis. Most of which I'll never refer to because, I don't actually know.
And to let you all know, this entire thing is supposed to be read with a nuetral tone in mind. If it comes off another way, sorry x.x I seem to come off as aggressive too much.

You people need to relax, you're not making the situation any better...(though it shouldn't have got to the point of a "situation")

Mikage Souji Quote: And, I don't think Ohtori would REALLY have thousands, and it honestly SHOULDN'T be really huge since Ivy has pointed out before that it's mainly for spoiled rich kids whose parents don't want to deal with them the majority of the year, and a couple who just want the best for their, again, spoiled kids. I think thousands could fill Ohtori, especially since they come from all over the world. Er, ok, I realize you aren't attacking me but, um, Ivy has told us a couple of times to remember that Ohtori is supposed to be seen like a normal private school, hence why she didn't want too many foreign exchange students. Just pointing out what Ivy told me.

This is not a situation, Cervantes. This is a discussion with edge. smile
The thing with Ivan, I can let slide. I raised an eyebrow, but thought: 'Well, it's probably awkwardly and over-scientifically worded, because that's Bade'. Things that are obvious or noticeable over time or with close scrutiny, like blooming relationships that aren't being kept on a tight lid, depression, or tendencies towards behaviors like violence or cross-dressing, I can see Bade knowing.
However, most mental conditions are internal things, complex and unique as each individual who has them. Paranoia, bipolar, sociopathic, even nymphomania. People who have mental disorders are not even distinguishable from normal people, because they don't wear their disorders on their sleeves. We have three students I know of in this RP with paranoia, and no one has noticed at least one of them. That's what really struck me as crossing the border line of OOC knowledge, because not even some trained professionals can tell about what kind of disorder a person has simply by observing them.
Also neutral tone with a definite bend towards explanation.

*nods* I can certainly understand that. Also, I didn't ACTUALLY say the person he was talking about was Victor, which, he wasn't. It was a vague reference that really could have been any boy he noticed at some point. Not the same type of paranoia that it seems a few characters are inflicted with, but the really nervous, jumpy type, that I was alluding to. Sorry if I confused anyone x.x I didn't mean to.
When I read Victor's NPC profile it would be obvious he didn't show signs of paranoia or delusion since it says he's kind of more surly, not exact words but you know what I'm talking about. It wouldn't make sense. Like you've said, there are characters with paranoia that you can't see, so it's possible there are random characters, maybe someone in one of his classes, that's kind of obviously paranoid. [Kind of apologetic tone]
