OK, so, totally embarrassing fact here: I happened upon that American Idol reject's single " It's Not Over," and heaven help me, but he can sing. I don't even watch American Idol - EVER - but I can stomach this. Does this require some form of seppuku? Laitue - *JEAAAALLLOOOUUSS!* o.O Where did you get it? Is it brand-name or custom-built? What are its other specs? What's the chassis look like? Did you get a new LCD monitor to go with it? Does it have Vista?

AD - Clearly, it's not over. So I'm going to go give teddy bears to little girls, talk to disapproving Asian grocey ladies, and apply for a job as an auto mechanic in order to help me restore my relationship with my ex-girlfriend or whatever. xd
I agree - he does have a pretty nice voice. But I can't give him much credit for music videos... This one had me in stitches. How many random scenes can you mash together in one video? Maybe I just have an odd sense of humor, but I found it extremely funny.
Laitue - LUCKY. heart I'm jealous. gonk

Iyou - If that Asian woman had begun to beat him about the head, my day would have been complete.
The first rule of listening to Whiny Man Music is to ignore the lyrics. I approach it the same way I approach J-pop: it's usually best to ignore the lyrics entirely. The second rule: any music video for a Whiny Man Song must include the following elements: a good guy, a lousy situation with someone important (mother, father, friend, significant other), visible angst, a feeling of the guy "trying to do right by [whomever]," and a happy/empowering ending. That said, I load the YouTube video in one tab and promptly flip to another so I don't actually have to watch it.
My friend and I have agreed that this man has a more appropriate voice for Roger from Rent.

I shall join you shortly, as I have been wasting my life away playing way too much FFXII. And ... um ... that's pretty much all I've been doing since we got back from traveling around to visit family. sweatdrop This doesn't excuse my absence, as the reason for that is - LAZINESS ... and FFXII. On a FFXII note - VOSSLER!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gonk x Infinity

Ashram - Yeah, I figured.
So I guess you like it, then? Huh. *shrug* The Vossler thing was hardly a surprise, though. I hadn't even attached to him as a character yet when his highly predictable betrayal occurred.

AD>> Oh, the story's been as predictable as all get out, but I tend to enjoy RPGs more for battle systems and environments ... beasties and all that.
I just wanted to be wrong and have Vossler stick around. confused Oh well, at least I softened the blow for myself by inserting random "LOL"s into the story.
xd
Ok, curiosity question for you, what kind of weapons did you give to each character?
Laitue>> Yay new computer! surprised
Iyou>> You know, I'm trying to decide if I should go back and read the conversation you and AD are having or just opting to stay content with your last statements that made me laugh my a** off. xd

Ashram - I like the RPGs for the storylines. I'm not gonna lie.
LOLs? I kept adding "Oh, of course! This sort of thing happens ALL the time!"
Weapons... Um...
Vaan - sword (one-handed) Ashe - sword (one-handed) Basch - axe Balthier - pole/rod/stick thing Penelo - crossbow Fran - bow
By the end of the game, pretty much everyone had a sword except for Penelo and Fran.

News of a celebrity death spreads like wildfire in an office. o.O It's terrifying.
Seriously, though, we were all shocked. It's so strange that her son should drop dead of a "drug interaction" (pssssh), and she should collapse less than 6 months later with no obvious external causes. I'm just waiting for the autopsy, to be perfectly morbid.

Ashram - Just watch AD's video and you'll understand. xd It shows a bunch of random scenes that have nothing whatsoever to do with each other.
...am I the only one who's amused by the fact that this little cupid guy who's showing up all over Gaia has an earring? He's clearly without pants, yet he's able to put enough time aside to accessorize.
"Oh, I love this earring! It's just the perfect thing to accent my nudity!"
...bwuh?

vlah! (Been a while since I've said that...)
Iyou - The video's like a whiny seizure!!

You know what I hate? People asking for advice and then telling you that "you don't know what you're talking about." Unbelievable.
Iyou - No one. One of my all-time favorite claims at work said that an employee was shot in the head by another employee, completely failing to mention the fact that it was an accidental graze with a nail gun. Context? Bah!
FLCLboy - I remember your name... From the Days of Old. What brings you back? ^_^

It's great to be back, I would say. smile
