Yakov could smell Jeff coming down the hallway. He waited impatiently by the door. The second it opened, he grabbed Jeff, pulled him in, shut the door, and threw Jeff onto the bed. He followed closely behind, leaping on top of Jeff. The matress bounced and rocked disapprovingly. "I missed you."

Jeff blinked and was suddenly on the bed but he still had his huge grin on.
"I missed you too, but I have some good news!"

"Oh Jeff, can't it wait?" Yakov slid his hands under Jeff's shirt, uncovering his chest which he covered with kisses as he spoke. "I really...don't think...I'd be able...to pay...attention...anyway."

Jeff giggled at the kisses, "Ok, now I can't think of anything but you." He reached a hand up and carresed Yakovs cheek and brought Yakovs lips to his own.

Aurora followed the squirrel's scent deeper and deeper into the woods. Finally she came across something much fresher at a tree trunk. Excited, she clawed her way up the tree and into the unavoidably rank hole where her victim was waiting.

He had heard the noise of her climbing, but the one-eyed squirrel had not been prepared for a full-on onslought. Lightning quick she snatched at him, and only by instinctive surprise did he jump instead of being caught. Aurora swiped the 'room.' He dodged her paw again. She extended her claws fully and aimed to pin him against the wall. He narrowly ducked her paw and instead jumped onto her wrist and bit down hard.

Instinctively Aurora pulled back her paw, the furious squirrel still clinging to it, as she snarled her pain. The quick-thinking squirrel jumped off of her wrist as she moved and plummeted down the tree-side as fast as his claws could carry him. Aurora lost no time in following. The squirrel changed direction and headed out on a branch. Since he was lower down the tree now Aurora felt safe in jumping onto said branch. She almost caught him there, nicking the end of his bushy tail as he kicked in an extra boost of adrenaline and leapt to the next branch. It was smaller and within reach; she swatted at the base of the branch hoping to break it. It snapped, and the squirrel and branch both plummeted.

Aurora dove after him. However the laws of physics refused to be ignored. The squirrel landed first and dove headlong into a bush for cover. Aurora landed a half second behind him and furiously attacked the bush. The squirrel stayed hidden for a moment, desperately clutching the branches inside, and then made a break for a hollowed log. It took Aurora a moment to notice his departure-- she was making too much noise herself to hear his escape. Only the faint movement in her peripheral vision alerted her that he had gone. Again she was after him. She leapt forward, eager to make up lost ground. The squirrel stood no chance against her in a race. She snagged his tail as he was making his escape into the log. But ho! In her zeal she pulled back a little too hard, closing her two-jointed toes around the tail, and her claws severed the end rather than securing the squirrel to a messy end.

He squealed in pain, stumbling in his dive into the log... but now he was safe inside and a few inches shorter as a target. Aurora snarled. She threw away the bit and plunged her hand into the log. She was met with nothing but splinters. The squirrel escaped out the other side. Aurora wasted valuable time in retreiving her hand/paw. Before she knew it he was soaring up another tree. She leapt again, making use of her muscles to propel herself up... But he was circling up the trunk the way squirrels do. It was hard to keep track of him. Suddenly he dove for a small network of branches, hoping to make his escape into the next tree and beyond her reach. If he could race away through the branches there was no way she could keep up. But now luck was on her side. His tail being suddenly shorter had an adverse affect on his balance. His jump overshot a little and he wasn't able to correct his mistake in time. The squirrel fell again. Aurora was ready this time though. Her brain raced ahead to plan out his movements and she leapt on a collision course. Just as he started to bolt away she landed, one paw firmly planting itself around his rump, and one claw piercing through a back paw. He squirmed, trying to double over backwards and bite her, but instead the claws dug deeper into him, firmly pinning him to the ground.

"I have you now you little furry b******d. And I'm going to make good my revenge for what you did." The squirrel continued to squirm and squeak beneath her weight.

Aurora sat, keeping him under her paw and well away from any other toes or tail that he might yet damage, and began pressing a toe in on each of his limbs in turn. They all snapped one by one, reducing him to a helpless crying mass. Then she flipped him over and proceeded to cut a very small hole into his torso. She was going to pull his guts out while he lived... and do lots of other wonderful things to him before he died...

A wicked smile widened on her face as the screams grew more intense.

Yakov's fingers burried themselves in Jeff's hair. His whole body tensed against Jeff's. His lungs began straining for air, but he refused to let Jeff go.

Jeff, sometime later, layed on his back holding Yakov against him. He was panting and slightly sore but all together pleased.
"Wait till...tonight..."

-----

Jonas watched as Aurora tourtured a small squirel. He was impressed with her techiques and watched her a very long time before deciding to intervine. He kept himself well hidden but projected his voice,
"Little Aura, I can't let you keep doing this..." His voice reflected off every tree and every bush so there was no way it could be tracked.

Yakov layed completely exhausted on Jeff's chest. He mumble something which may or may not have been I love you.

Jeff planted a few more kissed on the top of Yakovs head then stopped to catch the rest of his breath. Once fully oxygenated, he said, "So...wanna here the good news?!"

Yakov really did want to know, but he could only manage the energy for a nod.

Jeff smiled wide, "So, you know Kat, well...She's had a hard time of things in life. Basicly, life wasn't very fair to her, well...all her luck has just changed! I was talking to her today and I caught a strange scent off of her. At first I thought it was like, something dead but, I think that may have just been her breakfast anyways, I smelled deeper and I caught that certain smell that weres only get after they choose their mate." He was so excited for her that he was physicly trembling.

'Yay other wolves' sex lives.' This wasn't exactly the kind of good news Yakov cared about in any particular way, but he was too tired to even consider protesting, so he just nodded again.

Jeff was so happy. He sqweezed Yakov tight. "And, she agree's with me on the idea to make our own pack"
PostPosted: Tue Nov 04, 2008 8:47 am

Yakov somehow managed to lift his head enough to face Jeff. "What? Our own what?"

Jeff then remembered that he hadn't told Yakov about his master plan. "Oh, it's my master plan. Don't you think it would be safer if you and I were part of a pack? It would be safer for Kat and her mate and your sister. If all of us got together we would have a real defence against the other packs around here."
