Ok. But I'm confused on the whole storyline thing. How did Magnus get to be the Dark Lord? Who was before him?

my master was called DARTH HANZI, he was a corelian like myself and choose me to be his apprentice because i killed his last one. he was 56 when he died.
his master was called DARTH SUCCUBUS, she was an anazti and see had killed most of her apprentices to feed on their essences. she choose hanzi because he was going to be her next meal, but she was killed first. she was 300 years old
