It seems everyone's tried these Jones Soda things but me. D: It's like manufacturers went out of their way to avoid putting their products in regions where I might visit.
@AD----Nah, I don't mind that I don't drink. I just get sick of being told to look after drunk buddies, so I distance myself from those kind of people now. I figure real friends would care more about my feelings than to get me involved with something I don't like. I just occasionally get left out of alcohol-related talks, but I'll take that sacrifice. XD
Yes, MOO-ING. Lots of it! And and..blizzards! and I hear there's an AD in there somewhere. ninja
(( actually, compared to a lot of the Midwest, I think I'd rather visit Ohio. I can't imagine what I'd do in say, Minnesota. o_o )
My parents and I have driven to LA a couple of times, which is about a 13 hour straight car ride. But I'd rather go through another 20 hours of driving than pass through Arizona all those times. During one such trip, we passed through a ghost town, a sandstorm, passed by a tornado, and went through hail and a rainstorm so heavy everything was white. In ONE state! neutral Not to mention the heat is terrible ( and we live in an area that has terrible thunderstorms and heat/humidity )
Oh! and I did get into Claymore because you recommended it, and I really like it. whee It surprised me, because I normally don't like all that stuff - gore, ugly monsters, etc.
I like the manga too, just because it's way ahead of the anime and I doubt the anime could get all of that info in. If you'd like, I can show you where I read all of it online, since you're not against these types of illegal goods and whatnot. XD;
@Langwifey---- I could just imagine your avatar with a bike. If only Gaia had taken that route, instead of cars.
@Hoshi---- I guess I don't. XD But that's okay in my school at least. I'm surrounded by art colleges, so they out-freak us most of the time. Except we have a strong theater school, so I think they're in the contest for who does the craziest things..

Akahoshi - Ah, yes. I'd forgotten about scanlations. It's been a long time, I guess.
I swear, even the arm-reforming scene in the anime didn't involve bones. Every time I see something like that, I can hear my biologist friend screaming about it, a lot like the time she heard about "instant ebola" in Tomb Raider.
Nyome - If it makes you feel any better, I just had to Google Jones Soda.
Ahhh, I see. Yeah, the babysitting thing gets real old real fast. Eventually you'll bump into people who know how to drink and not make other feel lousy about it. It happens around your senior year in college, I think.
Blizzards, cows and AD. Yep, that's Ohio in a nutshell.
I don't care how bad you think Arizona is; Oklahoma is worse by far. Period.
Claymore is remarkably gory and sadistic -- more sadistic than any other anime I've seen to date -- but I still really like it. That makes me worry.
Ooooh, illegalz? I'm all over that.
Shiro - Well, fine! Feel free to miss out on all of our Claymore-related discussions!
If anyone here is getting a Bone-Liquefying sword, it's me! (On a side note, I can now spell "liquefying" without Firefox correcting me. Yay internet.)
Koji - Ehhhhxcellent. Claymore won't be as gossip-worthy as Higurashi, but it's not bad.
*smacks you for good measure* Get your mind outta the gutter; that's my territory.

Abandoned Dreams Shiro - Well, fine! Feel free to miss out on all of our Claymore-related discussions! If anyone here is getting a Bone-Liquefying sword, it's me! (On a side note, I can now spell "liquefying" without Firefox correcting me. Yay internet.)
Well fine! I'll hang out with Koji on Youtube then! >:C
meh, I'm actually watching and enjoying Devil May Cry... it's drawn by Madhouse...which means same people who animated Death Note. whee
OK then, you get that. I'll go get body shattering bullets. twisted (also note, I didn't need to use firefox to help me spell 'liquefying' correctly on the first go. yay me! [/smartass] )
Hoshi :: no no no. xd never a b***h. A bit cold and calculating, but fierce and hands-on at the same time. I remember clearly telling myself one night: "Yeah... cross her just once, and she'll rip you a new one." Then again, I've learned through the years never to "judge a book by it's cover", and I sure didn't with you. :3
and I don't have Hoshi's new account on my f-list because I remember clearly reading how you did not want any friends requests. AT ALL. so I never did because you told me. sad

Tsk. GASOCians should not be intimidated by each other; the world should be intimidated by us.
Memai - You didn't know about Ouran? Holy s**t, girl. Greatest. Thing. Ever.
Exactly!! Bones require a lot of force to break, and even then, they don't slice cleanly! I've come to accept many of the physical impossibilities proposed by anime, but bonelessness really grates on my sense of reality.
Akahoshi - You are never a b***h unnecessarily. You are my bitchy inspiration. Now shut up.
TUBES! Are those supposed to be muscles? Bah! Bah on all of it! I double-checked the anime version and there's an off-whitish tube that COULD be a bone, but there's no red in sight. Anime muscles = flesh-colored tubes. I am so not going anywhere near Japanese health care if that's the general consensus, thanks.
*poke*
Shiro - Death Note wasn't badly animated, come to think of it. How's DMC's story?
I don't use "liquefying" too often, so I don't usually waste brain space with its proper spelling. However, it is now permanently stuck in there, which means I have probably forgotten someone's birthday as compensation. Damn it.
Deuxia - GASOC is my oasis in the desert of Gaia. heart
o.O YouTube isn't free; it costs IQ points.

Deuxi >> YOU SILLY GIRL! XD No, no... not markers XDD Colour pencils. Markers are much too expensive over here (which is odd, considering most Japanese products here cost a lot less than those in the States), the only 'makers' I use are those felt-tip ones that kids use XD
But yeah, it is a pretty awesome pic whee
AyDee >> I need to get my hands on the DVDs XD I don't fancy downloading anime because I'll probably let it sit there eating away at my HD, so yeah... DVDs. I could always sell it later ;D
Bonelessness XD; It's funny when those anime purists go on about how their favourite shows add a touch of reality to an animated series (which, I do admit, you don't see too much in your typical Saturday morning toon), yet when you point out something physically impossible, they yell back saying "BUT ITZ FANTASIIIIIEEEEE!!!!"
Gotta love them otakus, I'd run out of things to laugh at biggrin
