AD - I agree trading is far to long a process, I can't wait to see the battle system. Hasn't it been 5 years in the making, I'm sure it won't be a waste. rolleyes
If I ever feel like I need something else you'll be the first one I ask from now on.
Also I think I'm starting to develop a bridge complex, I've never liked bridges and now I think I'll avoid them. I demand a sign on every bridge with like a safety number assigned to it.

Akahoshi - Ten bucks says the battle system will be ripped directly from Final Fantasy.
xd Bridge complexes wouldn't work around here. There are rivers all over the place, hence bridges.

AD - Yeah, I'm expecting it to be like Final Fantasy Tactics, but with out a story.
I just have a weird fear of high and long bridges, because once you're on them if something bad happens you can only go down. I try to avoid them when ever possible. I'm not big on planes either, I'm not scared of flying it's just the thought of falling out of the sky, I take sleepy meds anytime I fly. Just some of my weirdisms. sweatdrop

Akahoshi - I never played Tactics. My friend and I tried once, but the battle system was limited to "throw rock" and the storyline was outrageously haphazard. "Meanwhile, somewhere else entirely..."
I've only flown once, but I loved it once I realized that if I did die, there was nothing I could do about it, and I'd probably die within seconds. I've always had a fear of being tortured/eaten alive/whatever else, so a quick death would be quite acceptable.
QA - Ye Olde Faire? I've never been to one. o.O

Bah. I was gone because fambam dragged me kicking and screaming onto a road trip to Laughlin and Las Vegas. And wtf, my parents didn't even gamble at all, so what was the point?!

Ok so I'm off to my new job tomorrow and if you ever need to pack clothes for two months in one suitcase, don't. Trying to fit work wear and casual wear is not easy. QA - It's a Birthday gift that was well worth the wait. whee AD - Tactics is pretty bad it does get ok near the end but it's still bad. Me and anything that cause death doesn't sit well with me. But at the same time I'll go walk around at 3am and not have any worries. Darkish - No high school dramas. Not that's there aren't dramas there just harder to find and thus easier to avoid. Edit: This is the laptop I'm planning to buy: Laptop I'm still looking around but this one is at the top of the list right now.

This is a damned good season for anime soundtracks. Claymore, Darker Than Black, and El Cazador de la Bruja all have top-notch OSTs. Just so you know. (I'll toss any of the aforementioned up on MegaUpload if anyone's interested.)

College orientation is the most unnatural, strained event known to mankind. It's easier to meet people the usual way: chance. That, or latching onto people who don't seem to suck too much.

3AM walks... Well, I guess it all depends on where you live. Out here in the middle of nowhere, it's fine, but anywhere else I won't go for a midnight stroll without my all-purpose knife.
Ooooohlaptop. My friend's had an Acer for the last few years and she loves it. It's too bad it comes with Vista, though. Disease-ridden nonsense... But fitting a 160gig hdd into a laptop is pretty impressive.
Oh, hey, can you possibly explain something geeky for me? I'm not sure how to compare dual-core with non-dual-core processor speeds. I have to assume that a 1.5GHz dual-core processor is faster than a 1.8GHz regular processor, but I don't know by how much. I read that dual-core doesn't actually double the listed GHz, so... Yeah, any kind of help here would be greatly appreciated. *lame*

AD - I wouldn't minds having the Darker Than Black OST.
I'm staying with a friend, they go to one of the colleges here so the offered me a futon and free rent so I said yes. I just found out were the place I'm working is after spending 10 minutes in the giant building looking for it. And it's only a 20 minute walk from where I'm staying, though I may get a bus pass after my first pay since I don't wanna walk in the rain.
My strolls never involve knives, just some nice hand big ol' boots.
The laptop is nice and with all it's fancy bit it'll last a good long while, and the price it nice. And the 160gigs is nice to but if I get a Dell I was looking at it was going to have two 160gig hard drives in it. biggrin
And here's my in a nutshell explanation of dual-core. So a 1.5GHz dual core processor is sort of like having a two 1.5GHz processors in the same PC. On a single-core when you multi task application each one needs to communicate with the core one at a time so it can slow down after say 5 programs running. But with the dual-core you have to cores to communicate with so those same 5 programs won't slow it down.... as much. It's not the best explanation but it's how I describe it to people and I'm pretty sure it's not wrong.
