(geez that was a lot of reading)

Azora had evacuated along with Star when Eva had gotten into the control room and started working the controls. She unplugged one ear as Star laid down beside her. She could make out the destruction behind the wall she leaned on. Then they burst out of the room, Eva carried the hogtied boy somewhere off and she followed only a few steps before leaning on a wall. On the other side she could hear their chatter and she could barely keep up as to what they said. Until the obvious struck her in the head like that bullet would have done in the training room. In simple terms, she hated her, for having a disability? Perhaps, but for certain she disliked her, why? She was dead weight on the team, the team she had hoped would be more of a family to her than her own family. The friends she had always wished for, people who would understand her worth beyond her blindness. The Kevlar covered ape practically bounced into the room, but she wasn't really paying attention, she was only dimly aware of her surroundings, after all her mind was clouded with the shattered hope and dreams, sadness and a slight ting of betrayal.

"You know, there is a reason I am the captain and your a rookie." Sokato said with a smile. "I am always ready Kyle, I just really don't think you are going to be able to hurt me."

".......I did not need this today." Sokato is in a really bad mood. He stares for a while then calls out. "When I get out of here Kyle, I am going to beat every living fiber out of you!" Sokato starts walking pushing the rat away. "Move it you over grown rodent!" Sokato takes off is sunglasses and continues his way through the maze, his right eye illuminating the maze with its red light.

Sokato sighs and with one hand picks up the giant mouse and throws it at the snake. "I told you to go away rodent!" Sokato then yells at the snake. "You don't scare me! Come on I dare you attack!" Sokato is enraged and unpredictable.

The snake ate Paco. It looked at Sokato, opened its mouth, and then a fireball was shot at him.

The snake ht the wall and glared at him. "I am but one of the weakest of monsters that follow the one and only Great Dragon. If you find a dragon, that will be the Great Dragon.... And there be the end of this maze..." the snake said. It thend burst into dust.

"Thats it I am getting so very tired of this illusion. Talking rats, giant snakes, and stupid dragons..... I just realized, to save power, I turned off the implants. He may be able to fool the human side but this illusion will not affect a machine." He said sitting down. The implants in his head helps him achieve greater control over his movements. They also allow him to keep his mind clear and focused during the worst of situations. He can do with out them though. He turned it off because he knew he did not need it to fight Kyle. He was not expecting an illusion though.

Sokato closes his eyes. "I don't have to fight a dragon, because it does not exist." Then when he opens his eyes the labyrinth is gone.

Eva listened to the boy talk without taking her eye off the ape. The gun in her hand was shaking slightly with the force of her supressed rage. It had built steadily from the intial shock of the Librarian's dramatic entrance, and was now threatening to pour out of her in what would probabyl end up as an endless diatribe, which would be inconvenient for everyone present. She waited until she gat her seething anger under control and her arm stopped shaking befor she addressed the orangutan. "We were talking, before you so rudely interrupted. I'm going to carry on with that and ignore you for the next few minutes." She audiably clicked the safety back on and hosltered her gun. She turned her back on the librarian and looked at the boy with an air of extreme impatience.

"Well, we could start on your mistaken assumptions, but we'd be back and forth all day, and that would get very dull. I could defend my character against your very clever and pointed insults, but I frankly don't care about that very much. Think whatever the hell you want. Instead, we'll pick up where we left off. You're extremely talented. So why in the name of Jesus H. Christ are you pissing around with this ridiculous game? I'd thought so much more of you. I thought you were honestly trying out your system, and I felt almost priveleged to be the first to try and fight against it. I haven't been this disappointed since the Phantom Menace." She sighed, slowly letting air out between her teeth. Slowly, she unzipped her vest and tossed it to the side. She then began disarming herself systematically, down to the laser pointer. She continued talking through this process.

"You decided to play what I again say is a ridiculous game. What a waste. If there's one thing I do care about in other people, it's wasted talent. ...Well, you are right." She paused slightly. "We're talking about the insults now, I forgot to mention that. Anyway, you're right. I don't really care about people. That probably makes me inhuman, but that's in the eyes of others. So again, I don't care enough to be insulted. I could tell you my whole life story and I'm sure you'd either cry or shoot me between the eyes when I was done. But I won't, because you annoy me. Anyway, the point is that I don't really see people as human. Hell, I barely see myself as human. I can see the value in people though. And I can still see the value in you. Yes, I suppose I did want to hurt you. Kind of still do, now that you mention it. I suppose you get that alot though. Well..." She knelt down and deposited her smoke grenades on the floor. As she straightened up, she stuck her hands into her pockets. She was completley disarmed, nothing up her sleeves.

"I know you're a threat, kid. Don't insult my intellegence or yours. I don't want to duel you, even if you have a nice, shiny rank tacked to your resume. I tried that earlier, and we've already discussed how that turned out." She pulled her hands out of her pockets and spread them wide. "I'm disarmed. No tricks. No ploy. Now can we please just talk?"
