Yakov led Jeff to a chair and sat him down.

Jeff calmed down enough for basic speech. "I'm so sorry...I must be like that...it's horrible...I felt helpless. If he'd really gotten enough in him..."Jeff choked back a sob. "There was nothing we could have done."

Lilly let out a surprised 'eep' as she kissed him. That was certainly not the response she was expecting. She pulled away and stared down at him. "Oh, wow."

Jeff took a while to calm down. "And I'm sorry for just running out. I didn't know what to expect."

Yakov sighed. He didn't really want to start this right now. This was supposed to be a good day where they celebrated being married. He kissed Jeff passionately. "I will worry about whoever I damn well like. You should start worrying about the fact that you've got a slightly neglected new husband in your lap."
