Z'Arian wandered up to his room and slipped on some dry pants. He decided he'd wait around for Eisel and go from there.

Eisel put one hand over her mouth to suppress the ungodly sound that resulted from shivering violently while breathing in through tightly clenched but chattering teeth. Sort of like a laughing snake, if a snake ever laughed. She made her way to her bed and sat for a moment, glancing around the room. She got up again and tried to open the heavy wooden chest against the wall, her fingers fumbling slightly. She frowned in irritation at her difficulty and stood up, drawing in breath through her nose as she straightened to her full height. She kicked the chest with violent anger and stalked toward the bathing room, stripping off her clothes with a vengeance and submerging herself in the perpetually hot water triumphantly. No more shivering for her, no sir!

Z'Arian was drying his sword off so as to keep it from rusting, when he heard a large bang from Eisel's room. hm.... "That's either Eisel being home, or something that's not right." He stood and walked out to knock on her door. It was kind of a pain being in different weyr's, ah well, couldn't do much about it right then anyway. He knock on her door, "You there Eisel love?"

Eisel froze for a moment as she slipped out of the water, cocking her head slightly to catch the end of Z'Arian's query. She didn't know what exactly he'd said, but she hurriedly dried off and threw on the closest thing to hand, which happened to be some kind of white, gauzy thing resembling a robe. She had no idea where it had come from, but she wasn't really in a position to argue. One last shiver made her frown slightlybefore she hauled the door open and replied, "What did you say?"

Z'Arian jumped as the door was pulled open, he hadn't been expecting that. Yet another thing he hadn't expected...eyeing the robe, he said, "Oh, sorry, didn't mean to make you rush. I just heard a ruckass and was wondering if that was you back or not." He scratched the back of his head. "I'll let you finish up, come on over when you're done, no bother knocking." He kissed her forehead and turned back to his weyr.

Eisel sighed and pushed the door back shut, pulling the garment off quickly to look at it. It wasn't all that bad...a tad on the flimsy side, though. She dug through her chest, now easily opened, and found a considerably more opaque white leather dress that would look okay under the mysterious robe thing. Once fully clothed, she tentatively opened Z'Arian's door, hesitating momentarily before slipping inside.

Z'Arian had just finished wiping his sword off, and was putting it back into it's sheath as the door opened and Eisel appeared. He slipped off his bed where he has been sitting, and leaned the blade carefully against the corner of the room. He smiled at her and pulled something out of his trunk. Wandering over to her, he slipped the small chain around her neck and fixed the clip on the back. He stepped back a bit and looked at her. The white jewel on the necklace shone in the sun from the window. "Wow..."he said admiring her beauty, "I'd like you to have that, it was an early project when I was learning to work metals. I loved how it turned out, and was saving it for something special. Do you like it?" He gave her a nervous smile.

Eisel bit her lip and carefully held the pendant where she could see it, admiring it. Her eyes lifted to Z'Arian and she flung her arms around him, hugging him for lack of anything better to say. "Of course I do," she managed.

Z'Arian slipped his arms around her back and held her close. She was so warm to his touch. He felt Vrätoth pulling on his mind. hold on you, unless it's important, i'll come in a bit. He rubbed her back gently, at her words, he smiled. "That's wonderful. It's yours then my love. Wear it and think of me." Again, he felt his dragon counterpart. He slipped away from Eisel regretfully, and grabbed his sword. "I'm sorry, Vrätoth is being impatient. He probably was refused the chance to lay with his mate. Be right back." He slipped from the room, coat flickering around the door.

Eisel laughed and watched him go, turning her thoughts to Umbrielth. Are you being difficult, my dearest dragon? she inquired teasingly. Perhaps, the dragoness replied slyly. Eisel laughed again and shook her head, moving toward the window to look more closely at the necklace. It really was beautiful. She sighed happily and glanced around. On a whim, she sat on the edge of his bed, bouncing slightly. Of all the things...it was softer. She'd have to talk to Lintana about that. Maybe there was a bed sitting lonely in some empty weyr she could have someone bring in to her weyr.

Z'Arian found Vrätoth back and next to Umbrielth looking sullen. Ok, is this something important or can I return to Eisel? the dragon looked at him in defeat. go on then, I'll just pout. He looked longingly at the female dragon next to him as Z'Arian strode off back to his weyr. When he returned, he slipped inside quietly and sat on the bed next to Eisel and put an arm around her. "Sorry about that dearheart."

Eisel jumped slightly at his quick return and then smiled. "I'll try to talk Umbrielth into cutting the coy act," she replied, kissing him on the cheek. "I have absolutely NO idea what's got into her," she added sarcastically.

Z'Arian laughed and fell onto his back making the bed jump slightly. He kept his hand on her back and looked up at the ceiling. "Well, it's a free day now, what do you want to do my dear?"

Eisel smiled slowly, lying back beside him. "Oh, I don't know," she began, letting one hand rest lightly on his chest. "We could just...stay here." She kissed him gently on the cheek again and then suddenly sat up, getting to her feet. "I'd much rather inspect the stock room in the infirmary to see what we're low on, though," she announced, grinning teasingly as she swept out of the room. "You can come if you want," she called as she meandered down the hall. She'd really have to ask Lintana for a rough map of this place, or she was going to get lost again.

Z'Arian laughed. oh my...he thought as he stood to follow her. He closed the door silently and snuck up behind her and slipped next to her and acted as though he'd been there the whole time. He had almost fell for her little play, and decided to act as though he was totally on top of it. "I'll tag along love, because I don't want you getting lost again." He reached for her hand and kept walking.
