AJ picked up her coffee and got up. "Come on, lets go to the mall." She said smiling. She walked out of the cafe and headed toward the direction of the mall.

Kane nodded and followed her with a glass of water to the mall. He drank it all by the time they got there and said to her, "So... hmmm they sell things here..... what do they accept as money?"

AJ looked at him curiously. this guy is pretty strange.. "Have you ever gone shopping anywhere in the last like...centry?" She asked. She pulled out a single, 5, 10, 20, and 50. "These are called dollars. this is a 1, 5, 10, 20, and a 50." She put the money back. "You act like you have been sitting an a cage for half your life...or whole life..." She said quietly.

He thought a bit and pulled out a bag. He then said, "Dollars..... I just use silver coins.... thats all I really have though, and I am traveler basically. Er.... could say hunter maybe." He put back the bag and smiled at her. He then said to her, "Wanna go to the park after, I'll show you what I mean."

"Uhhh sure...i guess." She said shrugging. She smiled. "You know...your alright." She said lightly punching him in the arm. "Now lets go. I can pay for you. Cause change really isnt going to buy you anything at all."

Kane shrugged and followed her as they went to shop. He asked her as they went, "Why does such a weird place exist.... this place is too big and there is to much noise."

She shrugged. "I guess its a matter of convinience. If at one point you need some clothes, and then you also need a present for Uncle Bob, you dont have to walk all the way across town to get both." They had gotten to the mall and had entered. She found the bookstore she and went in. She got the 2 books Sera and Myst wanted and payed for it. "You want anything from here? I can pay for it if you do."

He nodded no to her and said, "I rather not, I read too much already in my life. Er.... is that all you needed two books? Or do you need clothes or a present for Uncle Bob?" He smirked thinking it was funny.

AJ laughed and shook her head. "Nope, no present for Uncle Bob." She led Kane out of the mall. "Sera and Myst have wanted to get these books for a long time. But theese books are expensive and they didnt want to spend like 40 bucks on 2 books. So i decided to be nice and get the books for them." She said shrugging. "oh! i almost forgot. Do you want to get some new clothes? I remember you saything that you didnt have alot." She stopped in front of the mall ready to go back in.

Kyara sighed as she looked around the streets, trying to find something to do. Bored, she lifted a rock up with her hand then gently let it go and watched as it hovered in front of her as she continued to walk.

"No lets just go to the park, I really want to show you what I meant by hunting." He grabbed her hand and ran with her making sure to allow her to be able to keep up. They made it to the park in no time, but they went to the middle where no one was and it was.... private you could say trees blocking views of seeing people in the middle. He smiled letting go of her hand now.

AJ looked around feeling a bit comfortable. The only comfort she felt was that it was a bit darker here than where they were. She didnt like the idea of being totally closed out to the outside world right this instant. She took a deep breath and tried to make it just a bit darker. It made her feel so much better. But she didnt make it so dark that Kane would notice it so much. But the darkness was like a drug. You make it just a bit dark, and you want more. More darkness, less sunlight. But AJ controlled the urge and stayed in the shadows in the shade of a tree. It was a bit darker there.

Kane smirked and finally said, "AJ.... sorry to do this to you and all seeing how sweet you were, but... I have a duty to do. More like vegeance....." He snapped his fingers and ice shot around AJ making her unable to move her arms or legs. Then an ice sword form in Kane's right hand. He twirled it abit then pointed directly at her. He said to her in an emotionless scaring voice, "I hunt people like you, elementalists the people who killed my family."

She was mad. Her eyes turned from a light brown to a liquid black. She felt betrayed. The shy turned dark and black as night. She shadows crept up and she used them as arms and grabbed Kane. "You will pay for betraying me. And to think i thought of you as a friend." She said spitting at his feet. She broke the ice and a black dress as on her. She chuckled. "I like this outfit..." She said smirking. The dark arm was holding Kane in the air. She slapped him across the face. But she couldnt hide the anguish in her own. A couple tears rolled down her cheek. "I probably should kill you shouldnt I..." She thought outloud with her voice cracking. "Dammit Kane..." She grunted. She slapped him hard leaving a bright red mark on his face and lines dripping blood from her nails. She dropped him and stepped back with her eyes blood shot from crying.I cant kill him...
