The Professor pulled her close looking to her "To travel, to explore, to enjoy life and all its wonder. To see things that noone in the universe can or could ever see. That is why I travel, I also know there is great injustice in this world and I try to stop it whereever it may lay like when we were in the medevil days with the doctor and thats what I fight, what I try to stop." He explained trying to get her to look him in the eyes to try to show her comfort.

Iris hugged the Doctor. "I'm sorry, I just- It justs doesn't seem fair. To have all that power. How did you get it?"

The Professor looked to her for a moment alittle shocked by that and smiled nodding hugging her back, embracing her " Well I'll tell you inside." He walked her into the tardis and went to the console fliping a few switches, a few levers looking up to her as the door shuts behind her "Well you see I am from a time race as you heard, they never interfered, just watched, they would only interfere if the universe itself would be on the brink of destruction. I never beleved that, I thought to explore the universe, interfering, helping those in need, there are things in the darkness, where the monsters play, and there is only one that could stop them.......me." He explains as they fly through time in the tardis.

Iris nodded. "And there's no other?" The look on the Doctor's face told it all. "Why don't you find someone to travel with you?" She asked. Iris looked around. "All this, alone." She said to herself.

The Professor sighed "Well my best friend turned out to want to rule the universe more than explore it and my other friend decided to experiment on the universe. I did have a granddaughter but she fell in love on another world." He then pressed a few buttons and fliped a few switches "We are here, I wanted to show you my universe......or you can go back to your normal life?" The Professor explained looking to her.

Iris nodded. "I'll do it." She looked around. "Though I want to check on my father before we go. When I went into the Doctor's TARDIS, I was calling the hospital. My father had a Heart attack. He's okay, but I just want to make sure."

"Of course but first let me take a look at the portal to my universe." he smiled pulling a few levers "Besides I can get us to earth an hour after you got in the doctor's tardis." He sighed "I hope its still open they only have a limited window."

The Professor smiled as they made it there "We are here." He opened the veiw screen and the portal was still there but slowly closing "We just go through and.....hmm thats odd.. its another green tardis!" he exclaimed. A green tarids was at the entrance of the portal on the other side.

Iris looked out in curiousity. "I thought you were the only one." Iris said, stepping out.

The tardis had landed on a planet where the portal was and he looked to her before following and out steped the professor seeing an exact copy of himself on the other side of the portal "Iris, I think passing through the portal during my regeneration process has caused the tardis and myself to split into two identical versions of myself." The professor who was similarly dressed on the other side of the portal responded "I was just going to say the same. I have studied the portal and this is a fluke of science and I think we are safe as long as neither of us goes into the others universe or the otherverse as I would like to call it." Iris's Professor nodded "I did want to explore this universe more, I guess I have the chance now." He smiled to the otherverse professor as the portal to the otherverse closed the professor says to Iris's professor "Good luck and have a great life." Iris's professor smiled "Well I guess we can spend some more time together." he chuckled looking to her.

Iris was speechless. "He- and you-" She pointed at the professor. She gave up, after all it was the Professor. She was kind of used to surprises with him around. She shook her head, going down the street as it began to rain. She turned back. "Coming?" She asked.

The Professor looked to her for a moment "Are you coming back to the tardis so I could get you back to earth? We are still on an unknown planet.....with a road and apparently rain." he looked around alittle more curious as to why there was a road on a seemingly deserted planet.

Iris shrugged. "This isn't the way?" She then ran into the TARDIS. "My bad, lets go!" She motioned, over-looking the controls.
