Yakov shoved Jeff off him. "What the hell man?!" Yakov ran. He just simply bolted. Could this day seriously get any worse. He went straight to his room and locked the door.

Jeff had been prepared for his reaction. He mearly staggered back and few feet and let Yakov go. Jeff walked over and gently shut his door. He could have followed, but forcing anyone to be his lover was not all that is was crakced up to be. Yakov would come back when he was ready, and until then, Jeff intended to keep an eye on both Yakov and the hunter, while staying well hiden from both of them.

Aurora watched Luka flee with interest.

"Hmm... that was weird. It's not like I'm making any advances..." She smiled suddenly and turned to Connor. "Sorry if that sounded weird! I didn't mean anything by it. I just find it funny when people get possessive. I don't really get attached to people like that... But you've certainly had enough of girls today haven't you?" She glanced back at the direction the weird-sticker-rapist-girl had gone.

"If only I knew what room she was in..." Aurora mumbled to herself.

She turned back to Connor once more. "Well... anyway... You look like you probably need some time alone. But if you ever need someobdy to talk to let me know! I live in the Tower, but I'll be all over the place. Especially if you see anyone getting yelled at while they're up a tree!" She smiled and turned to go get more food (since most of hers was on the floor and being cleared away by a less than happy cafeteria lady.)

"Even if she is a bit odd, she is still more sane than anyone else I've met so far."

This ran through Connor's mind as he watched her walk of. Her... what was her name?!

"Hey!" he called after her. "Um... what's your name?"

Jeff got an intersting idea on how to speed the process up. He got up and headed out his door smelling for Yakovs sister. Befriending the family is always a good idea on courtship. He followed her scent to a room on the floor below him. She was in her room. Jeff knocked on the door that smelled most like a variation of Yakov.

Luka fully did not expect anyone to come knocking on her door. She was quite startled by the noise. She walk to the door rather slowly and opened it a little. Her eyes followed to tall frame out side her door up until she finally met a face. "Hello?"

Aurora turned. "Umm... I go by my middle name, Aurora." She dipped slightly, like a very rushed bow. "Does that mean I get to know yours?"

Jeff smiled at her, she definatly looked related to Yakov. "I'm sorry to bother you my dear, but I was wondering if you happen to be related to a young man named yakov?"

Lukas rubbed her forhead and sighed. "What has my idiot brother done now?" she asked exasperated.

Jeff laughed at her remark. "Oh, my dear, he hasn't done anything wrong, besides causing me a headache that I mostly made myself. May I come in and talk to you in private." He wasn't sure if he should talk about his love life out in the hall.

"Oh, it's Connor," he answered. Telling someone his name with such a casual air was foreign to him. He normally avoided introductions where he could. It made moving on all the easier in the long run. He considered saying more, but the mobile phone in his pocket began to chime the funeral march.

"I'll see you later," he sighed, reaching into his pocket and turning towards the building's exit. Naturally, it was the mayor. He was eager for a progress report.

"No, I haven't made any kills yet," Connor muttered quietly. "Last night was more of a... um... scouting mission. It looks like you're pretty over-run. I've probably met one person so far who isn't a wolf."

Connor had to move the phone away from his ear when the mayor shouted in distress.

"Calm down!" he snapped into the receiver. "That's why you hired me, isn't it? I should have enough ammo, but just in case I suggest telling me where I can find more. Oh, and my truck needs fixed."

His breakfast had been wonderful, as had his shower. But Curtis wasn't ready for a nap quite yet. Instead he wandered about the small cabin, checking e-mails at his computer and tidying up here and there. It was a one-room sort of place with only a bathroom separate from the rest, but humble abodes suited his style more than the fancy living he could easily afford.

As he gazed out the window, Curtis sighed. He would have to bring Katra out here sometime. This was the perfect place for a werewolf to live. To raise a family. Far away from the city and its dangers. Suddenly he was anxious. The idea of not seeing her again until Monday was not pleasing. He would have to go back to the city tomorrow.

"Um..." Luka gave him a look over. She wasn't entirely sure about letting a guy about twice her size in the room. "Ah what the hell." She flung the door open and went to sit in her chair.

Aurora nodded and then went back to obtaining more food. Connor...> A new smile had spread across her face. The morning's frustration was long gone...

Jeff ducked his head as he enetered her room. He looked about for somewhere to sit but decided the ground was perfectly fine, plus it might help him if he were shorter than her. "My name if Jeff," he said casually and added, "I am smitten with your brother."

Kat dozed off for an hour before her eyes snapped open. 'Crap' was the frist word that came to her mind. She was still in her towel and had homeowrk to do. She jumped up off the couch and threw her towels in a small hamper and she entered her bedroom. there only three things in her bedroom, her mattress, which was on the floor, her sewing machine, and he prize a joy, the 88 key electric piano. her parents had bought it for her when she was a senior in highschool. She passed all this and went straight to the closet which had 2 tank tops, 1 skirt, 1 pair of pants covered in almost 60 different colored patches, and a hand me down peacoat. She pulled on the skirt and one of the tank tops after pulling her one bra and a pair of underwear from the corner. She sat on her bed and pulled on her thigh high stockings and started brushing her hair. When she was done she went back to her living room to the single bookcase that was surrounded by piles of books on the ground, and pulled out her biology book.

"So the weapons dealer will be here on Monday?" Connor confirmed. He'd been wandering in the direction of an apartment complex that had complained of strange dogs around the premises. Maybe this would be his first break. His first kill.

"Yes, the truck needs to be fixed ASAP. I'll need it when I get out into the woods. No, I cannot just outrun them." Connor sighed and told the mayor where his truck could be found for the sake of the towing service that would be taking it to the repair shop.

"I'm at the apartment complex, so I'm going to let you go. Alright. Bye."

Connor snapped his phone closed and scanned the building. It looked like crap. No one was in the office, of course. What was he going to do, randomly knock and see if anyone would tell him where to find the wolf. As much as Connor hated interacting with people, that was the only option he had.

About half an hour later, Connor had enough leads to know that the strange dog (or dogs) normally came down the stairs from about the third or fourth floor. That was something, anyway. Now it was time to be random. Reaching an insecure hand into his pocket, Connor rapped on the first door he came to on the third floor.

Curtis was shocked at his own impatience, but he'd taken a two hour nap and could no longer stand to be away from Katra. But there was something else driving him. Some underlying unease that dictated a need for him to return to his new friend's apartment. Throwing on some jeans and a sleeveless shirt, Curtis dashed out to his car.
