"Humph"Emily Brent muttered, settling herself into one of the bars chairs. She wasn't going to have a drink, obviously.Alchohol was the drink of the Devil, and she would never drink anything that made people act like hooligans.

Sir Lawrence nodded at Emily and then turned back to her, "Ms. Brent... do you have anything to say about all of this?... your name was mentioned over the intercom... I am just asking this out of curiosity..." He sat back and looked at her, waiting for an answer.

"I have murdered no such person,I am a woman of God and my word is true"Emily replied to Sir Lawrence, her arms were crossed and she looked quite agitated.

Sir Lawrence stared at her for a moment and turned back to the others... he wanted truthful answers from all of them... especially William Blore because he had lied about his name for a reason... but what could that reason be? He shook his head a little and his eyes scanned the room in silent judgment, like everyone else.

William looked at all the silent and accusing faces and spoke up, "I'm detective/ ex-cop William Blore. The reason, I assume, I'm blamed for the death of James Stephen Lendor, is he was a criminal, which IO succeded to prosecute and send to prison, where he died less than a year later. I'm sorry for stating an incorrect name earlier, but I assumed it would be nessecary to keep my name a secret, being a detective for so long makes you presumptuos that everybody has something horrible planned, and makes most people extremely pessimistic," he explained with the best detail he could sum up. He didn't need any suspicion on him.

Sir Lawrence looked at William Blore and nodded, "Hmm... and interesting story, but I do remember a man named Lendor... the case did not come to my court, but another judge told me about it... Anyone else care to clear their conscience or save themselves from judgment?"

"Of course I'm innocent. I've never even heard of those people," Anthony said, trying a laugh that came out strained as he reached behind the bar to grab the bottle and refill his glass

Sir Lawrence looked at Marston, "Are you quite sure of that, Mr. Marston?... You seem kind of nervous... it is better to tell us all now and be rid of anything that might make you feel guilty or paranoid of judgment..."

Mrs. Rogers looked up at Sir Lawrence weakly and spoke softly, "My husband and I were blamed for the murder of a Miss Jennifer Brady, which is ridiculous... Miss Brady had been sick for a long time and it was a stormy night when she died... my husband tracked through the rain to get a doctor because all of the phone lines were out... but the doctor came too late... she left us a some of money and recognition and why not, I may ask? We were faithful to her and we were with her until the end..."

"There's nothing else to say!" Anthony insisted. "Maybe I'm nervous because we're in a situation we know nothing about and a strange voice just called us prisoners."

Sir Lawrence nodded to Mr. and Mrs. Rogers, "Thank you..." He then turned back to Marston in a little disbelief... he had to have something to do with those people that he was listed as killing, but what was it? "Are you sure, Mr. Marston that you have nothing to tell me?"

"Fine! I was in a car accident once and those people were killed. I don't really remember much except that I definitely wasn't at fault! I was cleared of any guilt by the courts," Anthony insisted, feeling trapped.

Sir Lawrence had a hidden smile underneath his stern, authoritative face... He then spoke politely to Marston, "Thank you, Mr. Marston..." His head turned to the others in the room. His eyes looked to Ms. Claythrone, Ms. Brent, General MacKenzie, Captain Lombard, and Dr. Armstrong for their truthful replies... "Would anyone else care to clear the accusation given to them?"
