There wasn't much time dodging since the attack had been going on. Yet he noticed his failure as 3 bullets penetrated him but it was weird. There was no pain. Instead his body had turned into fire. This was strange indeed. "Oi, didn't you just hit me?" Rake had never known this was the ability of a devil fruit. Then Rake go back to the fact they where in a fight and it was time to get serious. Yet he had to be careful for it might have been a fluke. Now he went for a slash across the body of the captain.

Ben was shocked when three of his shots went strait through the man's body and he showed no pain or reaction to it. "I think I did." He said responding back to him and quickly put his pistols away in his holsters now fighting weaponless. When the blade came at him, he held his plam in the way of the blade stopping it cold and repeling it and the man back afew feet from where he was. "That all you got?"

Jesbero looked at the man, and he saw the small rid flames that were created, and Jesbero knew that he shouldn't say anything, but he then said," Ben don't underestimate him please we don't need you to be dead before we get to skypia." Jesbero wanted to join in the fight so much, because of how much this weird feeling was hitting him about this man's ability.

"Don't blame me for the destruction!" Rake says with a complete straight face. That was not something natural. The captain had something special as well. Yet there was something about having a great sword as advantage. "b*****d Sword style: b*****d Slicer!" Moving around the blade with his arms to create centrifugal force and an never ending attacks due to the pinning blade. Not to mention that the twirling blade was moving faster by the centrifugal force as well. Even the wind behind it send some smaller creates to fall form their places. Rake kept his eyes upon the captain as he moved the sword-"wheel" into the attack upon the captain known as Ben.

Ben smiled slightly at the man came up with a new attack to use against him but he knew basic attacks would have no effect on him with his power. He held his hands out toward the spinning blade and moved his hand into the attack with his palm facing the opposite direction the blade was spinning and stopped the attack instantly and knocked the blade away from him. "That wont work on me..."

"I really need to work on the Ultimate b*****d attack!" Rake mumbled a bit to high, for he had seen it cut through steel like it was butter. Yet it was a way to go before he could get there. Well the sword wasn't going so well but without it there was nothing to it. He needed to sue one of his strongest attacks. He would wait for the captain to come at him. Yet he needed to do soemthing. "Is defence all you got?" Why in the world was this sort of friendly aura. They where fighting here.

((Here comes a new challenger!!))
Taro's boat sailed into the south blue being carried on the waves and he was, as usual, taking a nap on his boat. He was then awakened by the sound of a fight on the docks. "Ugghh...huh?" He looked over to see a group of people fighting on the docks. One with a large sword, another with no weapons, another man, and a girl. His boat hit the dock and he got out of his boat and walked over to the group of pirates rubbing the back of his head and yawning slightly. "By order of the marines, keep it down or I'll arrest you." He yawned slightly then looked up to the girl sitting on the ship. "Hey~......your hot." He said now completely ignoring the guys.

Ben looked at the new guy and knew from the way he presented himself that he was a marine. He took a more offensive fighting position and spoke to him. "Hey! What do you want?"

Kale giggled at Taro and wiggled her fingers politely. She held the blush back, for fear that she would accidentally turn invisible. She crossed her legs, happy that at least someone knew /and or cared that she was there.

Jesbero calmly walked forwards towards the Marine, and he looked at Ben, and said," You go after the b*****d sword berserker. I'll deal with him don't worry ok." Jesbero had no limbs into blades, and he took his Violet stance with his arms protecting his arm and chest, and his right leg in front, and he then said," So one question Marine. Do you think you will be able to threaten me anymore?"

Rake's head turned around towards the marine. Was he a complete idiot? Did he not understand the relationship between pirates and marine. "Oi Capt'n Ben. Instead of fighting for petty things. Let's destroy our true enemy. Perhaps I could find my place under your rank!" Now he cracked his neck and swung the blade on top of his shoulders and stared down the marine guy.

Taro smiled at the girl then looked back to the guys who now looked battle ready but he took a breath and walked towards them shrugging his shoulders slightly. "Look look look...if you just give yourselves up now then we can avoid all the stress of fighting and save afew minutes from our day. ok?"

Kale pouted, she didn't want to give herself up. She liked...herself. She reached into her bag and tossed some candy. "Candy!" She called as if that would break the strange tension that the one Marine had caused. Since it didn't, she sat back down and crossed her arms, muttering something about stupid Pirates and Marines; and their blatant dislike of her homemade candy.

Ben nodded to cal a temporary truce between him and the big sword guy for now and pulled out his pistols again taking aim at the navy guy but from his current position he couldn't get off a clear shot without him probably making a move against them. "Plan! You two go in close and cut him up. If he tries anything funny I'll take a shot!"
