"Ugh, no. Trelawny's a--" Leigh was cut off by Professor Flitwick, squeaking and clearing his throat to begin the lesson. She gave Jackson a kind smile, and turned her attention to the teacher.

Meanwhile, back in History of Magic, Jessica was once again causing her usual stir. Instead of listening to the late great Professor Binns and his dull droning, the male population of the class had now turned their heads to her and doodling little girly hearts in their notebooks. She of course paid no attention to anyone except that lucky little boy next to her.

Matt tried to stay focused on the lesson. But Jessica was sitting next to him, and as any red-blooded fellow would understand, it was an impossible task to not be distracted by her. Something like perfume wafted delicately in the air surrounding her, and it was all that he could do to keep his eyes in Professor Binn's direction.

Jessica smiled, leaning over to Matt and whispering in his ear. "Well this is rahter boring, now isn't it?" She flashed him a perfect smile and placed her hand flirtatiously on top of his, her eyes sparkly with a mischievous glint.

Matt caught his breath. "Rather," he answered, as coolly as he possibly could. He was used to most girls, but he wasn't entirely sure that he could ever get used to Jessica. "I'm shocked that I passed my O.W.L. in this class," he said, giving her an equally handsome smile.

This wasn't right. Peter was still practically in love with Jessica. And while they weren't bestest buddies, Matt and Peter had reached a sort of respectful plateau in their relationship. "Most girls do," answered Matt, his dazzling smile still in place.

Peter looked toward the teacher of Transfiguration but his mind wasn't in the lesson. It was on Jessica.
Kris noticed Peter was thinking about something.

Oooo, a little hard to get I see. Her red lips curled up in a mischievous little green. "I suppose. So..." She cast her eyes upwards at the ghost in the front of the room, who was rattling about some Elfin war or something. "...you want to get out of here?"

0_o bit daring arnt you Jessica.....wait if you are ion Matts year why were you in Divination with us?
"I know what you mean Leigh Trelawny dose seem like an old....." Jackson was cut off by Flickwit cooming over and damanding thhat he preform the charm. Jackson causlly flicked his wand and Flickwit promptly walked away.

Desperately, thought Matt. But not with you. Well, I'd like to, but I can't. So, no. "I got a D on my last essay...I don't think I can afford to," answered Matt, averting his eyes. His last essay had gotten an E, but there was still room to improve.
Leigh nudged Kris, her eyes focused intently on Matt. "She keeps talking to him," she said, her voice unexpectedly annoyed.

"Aww, come on now." She ran her finger lightly up his forearm and pouted at him a little, looking almost innocent. "I don't really believe that. You're always doing so well in class. I've seen some of your test scores." She batted her eyes a little, not excessively though, and flipped her hair over her shoulder, a light floral fragrance floating towards him.

Matt couldn't help but smile faintly. He was, after all, just a guy, and completely unimmune to flattery by a girl like Jessica. "Well, how exactly are we going to get out of here? Binns is teaching," he pointed out.
