Roxas nodded. "So...So I'll get to see him again in no more than a month, right?" he asked, looking up at her hopefully. "How...How much time do you think my dad's gonna get..?" he asked quietly, looking down at the counter top again.

Roxas nodded and got out of his chair. He walked around the counter and hugged the tall, redheaded woman. "Thanks, Ms. Mercer..," he mumbled into her shoulder. He then let go of her and looked up at her with a smile. "You'll be seeing me over here alot, I think," he told her happily before walking around and hugging everyone. "I'll see you guys later... Um...if you want, you can all come over to my house whenever... Oh, and whenever you wanna go, just tell me, and I'll take you back to the station..," he told them all, looking around at all of their faces. "Bye," he finally told them all with a wave as he walked out of the house to his car. Once he got to his house, he did precisely what Axel's mom had suggested and went to the hospital. As he was sitting on the hospital bed getting checked out, he looked over at his mom. "Mom...Can we go see Axel after this?" he asked softly. "Or...Or should I wait a few days? Just to let everything settle down?"

Roxas nodded. "Yeah... He doesn't even deserve to go to jail... It's my fault he can't enjoy his summer break... If I would have just kept my mouth shut, Dad wouldn't have..." He looked down at the floor with a deep frown on his face. The doctor announced that he would be right back with bandages, but nothing was really bad. Roxas nodded slightly and sighed as he walked out of the room.

Roxas nodded a little, playing with a loose thread on his pants. "Do you really think Axel would have given up his summer for me?" he asked softly. "I mean...he didn't even remember who I was until after dad was knocked out... He wouldn't have even known anything was happening if I hadn't stopped him from running down the street... He would have been long gone by then..."

Roxas sniffled and nodded, looking up at his mom. "Thanks, Mom... I love you. You always know what to say," he told her with a smile. The doctor then came in and began bandaging up his wounds. "That should do it," the doctor said after a few minutes. Roxas nodded. "Thank you..," he said softly. The doctor nodded. "Okay, you're free to go any time." Roxas nodded. "Can we go now, Mom?" he asked softly, looking up at her.

Roxas nodded. "Yeah... I wanna go see Sora... Then maybe I can go hang out with Riku for a little while..?" he asked softly. "I haven't seen him in a while... I miss him..." He hopped off of the table and stood there for a few minutes to make sure his legs were steady enough to hold him. Then he walked over to his mom and leaned into her side as they walked out to the car. As they drove on, Roxas broke the silence with a soft question. "Mom..? Do...do you think that it...that me and Axel... Do you think we're supposed to...to be together..? I...I mean...it's almost a miracle...that he's here again.., and that he remembers me now... And...and that he saved my life... I just... Am I thinking too much into it..?"

Roxas let a dark blush cross his face as a smile came to his lips. "Yeah... You're right... He could make me truly happy..," he said softly before they pulled up at the graveyard. "Mom, I kinda wanna be alone with him for a minute...can you go get some flowers or something..?" he asked softly, receiving a nod. Roxa smiled softly and moved through the headstones. Upon reaching Sora's grave, Roxas kneeled down in front of it and smiled. "Hey, Sor..," he started softly. "Axel came back... You remember the redhead that always played with us in the park when we were kids? Yeah... He actually saved me today... Dad was beating me up again and wasn't stopping this time... He was gonna kill me if Axel hadn't come inside and he and his friend Leon knocked Dad out... I think I love him... He's really sweet, and my heart beats really fast every time I see him... Riku misses you. We all do, but I know how much he misses you. He still wears the necklace you gave him. I don't think he's taken it off. And he took your blanket that you two first had sex on... Of course, he made sure we buried you in the jacket he gave you, and he made sure you had the necklace he gave you on... And your promise ring. He has his on still, too. He refuses to take it off. He still loves you a lot... I don't think he'll ever stop loving you. We all miss you, Sor... It's not the same without you. It's so quiet around the house now, and I have nothing to do. I barely go outside anymore. The only time I'm really outside is during rugby practice. That's the only time I get to hang out with Riku, too. It's helped us relieve some pent-up stress. We just miss you so much... I'm so sorry I couldn't be there when you..," he trailed off, getting choked up on his words. Tears that were welling up in his eyes fell down his cheeks and he began sobbing and hiccupping. "I miss having my twin brother to fall asleep next to at night," he sobbed out, covering his face with his hands. "And I miss having you to be there for me when something happened... I...I miss having someone I need to protect," he sobbed, finally not able to speak anymore.

Roxas sobbed as he looked up at Riku. "I wish it was that easy..," he said softly, sniffling. They both stared at the sad little headstone with the bright mix of flowers for a moment longer. "Mom said I could spend some time with you today...since we don't get to hang out much anymore..," he told him softly as the sobs died down. "Maybe we can go do something to try and take our minds off of it... I don't know... Or, hell, maybe we can go through some pictures of him... I don't know."
