Snapping a hellhounds neck as it snarled, Hydro turned to a pain in his shoulder. A hellhound managed to get its way on Hydros back and bite him. He slammed it to the ground, looking over the bodies. "Anything else?" He taunted the intercom. "Yes, but not for you." The intercom came on. Hydros cage moved as if it had a mind of its own, capturing Hydro. "One more thing before you go, tell your friends that things are about to get much worse." Hydros cage went back underground, as Micas cage headed straight for her.
"I've got an idea." Ruse openned up a portal, calling a few monsters through. "These monsters may help us sniff out the person. Or at the very least, they can distract the other monsters that aren't from my portals." Ruse looked down the hallway.

There were a sounds metal that made Mica jump. She leaped sideways, barely dodging her cage. "What in gods..." The cage came back at her, moving pretty quickly. She managed to dodge it again, screaming as she felt the bars skim her robes. "Stop it," she pulled her sword and used the broad end of it to block the entrance of the cage as it rushed her a third time. The cage pushed her hard, but she planted her feet firm and pushed back. Her arms began to tremble, the force of the cage would overcome her soon. "I don't want to go where ever it is you want to take me," Mica grunted, her arms shaking more, "Just leave me alone." Her spiritual energy started sparking around her as fear and anger rose inside her. "I'm not strong enough for this..." she wasn't about to surrender though.

"Move!" Nero shoved Mica aside, and was shut into the cage in her place. "You really are an idiot!" The cage ascended and quickly was out of sight.
Gus grunted. "You do what you want. Just don't let these critters cramp up my style. ". He turned and headed down one of the hallways, vanishing into the darkness.

"What the..." The master looked as Nero appeared on the field instead of Mica. "Oh, never mind!" He hit a button, and cages rose up, revealing giant spiders. The doors screeched open, as about half a dozen giant spiders rushed towards Nero.
"It's obvious that who ever controls this place is stepping up their game. I fear even if we decide to go off track, we'll end up back here." Hydro studied the cage he was relocked in. A small amount of effort from Hydro pushing the door caused it to open.

Mica landed hard on the floor, slightly winded from the force of Nero's push. "Nero don't" she gasped, watching the cage takeup instead. The Master wasn't going to be happy about this, and neither was Nero. She stood back up and went near the intercom. "Master, I'm not playing with these cages anymore. If you want me to go someplace, give me stairs to do it," she said angrily, "Also, I want to know what the purpose of this is."

Nero cringed. "Why did it have to be ******** spiders?" He charged into the mass of arachids, sending a host of them flying into the walls to splatter. He released his wings and took flight, then unleashed his Golden Shower, ripping the remaining spiders to shreds. "You'll have to do better than a mere boogyman!"

Some noises were heard downstairs, then a set of stairs seemed to drop down from nowhere. They landed inches in front of Mica, while an open door appeared at the top. "I am not giving you what you want because you demanded it. You're going to learn your lesson the hard way. Go ahead, do things your way. You'll end up dead just like the others before you." He turned his attention back to Nero. "As for you, that was merely a test. Trial and error will help me figure out which one of you is good enough." A cage came up and closed around Nero. It started going back down. "You talk way too damn much." Hydro shook his fist at an intercom, then noticed a few monsters rushing down the hall towards him.

As the monsters dove for Hydro, a large, sphinx-like familiar pounced them, ripping them to shreds. "Oh no you don't!" Gus's voice could be heard in the distance, followed by the sound of a chase. Nero's cage landed, and he burst out of hit with ease.

"Oh good, I love it when men try to teach me a lesson. Last one who tried that didn't wake from his comma for 2 years," Mica put her foot on the first step, then stopped, hearing the commotion. "Hey, you guys gunna be ok?" she called back to Hydro, seeing Nero's cage return, "I'm gunna go up these stairs and see what this guy has in store for me, unless you want me to stay and help you first. You could always follow me up."

"Go ahead, I'll be up in a minute." He assured her. He turned to the strange creature. "You dont seem like those other creatures that we've been fighting. If you can understand me, thanks for the help, whatever you are." He looked to the steps and started walking up them. He opened the door, revealing that the door lead to a large city. The city seemed like a normal one, filled with people, buisnesses, and cars. All over the city was plastered posters reading "Obey the master or die!"

"Obey, obey, obey," Mica repeated, reading every sign, "I swear if I have to keept hearing that, I am going to destroy this place...." She found it strange that he would give her stairs that led up into a city, but more strange that he had a city completely under his control. Who was this guy?
"Hydro, this is crazy," she was beginning to feel just as uncomfortable in her new setting as she was in the dungeon, "I want to know who this guy is. He has atleast this city under his control, he kidnaps us and we don't even know how, and he has many beasts hidden away to do his fighting. There's no way he could have gained this power and remained unnoticed. So, atleast one of us must know who he is."

Nero followed suit, grimacing at the sight before them. "This is just..." He stopped for a bit as another familiar ran past them. "Let's go!" He ran into the alley nearby, and around the corner after the beast. It quickly ran around another corner into a dead end, and stopped beside a young, dark-skinned woman stood with an open book in her hand. "There you are. Flustered as usual, I see." She dismissed her familiar and shut the book.

"Mica, I think we may find something out by following Nero." Hydro gently tugged her along to the alley. "Who are you, another one of this mad mans lackeys?" Hydro asked as he saw the woman.

"I think this place is going to make my head spin," Mica couldn't kee her eyes off of the posters. She allowed Hydro to lead her after Nero. "Hello, there," Mica looked warily at the women, sensing her magic, "She has to much power to be a lacky, Hydro. I don't think she's under his control at all. But I wouldn't trust her if Nero doesn't."

The woman smiled. "Well, I...."
"What are you doing here?" Nero was glaring at her incredulously. "I thought those familiars were yours earlier."
"So coarse, as always. I wouldn't expect any different from you. You could at least be a dear and introduce me to your little troupe there."
"Guys, Summer. Summer, Guys." Nero grunted irritably. "You didn't....answer my question."
"Lucy and I put our heads together when you and Bart disappeared. After a bit of divination, I traced your signal to another dimension. With help from Lucy, her efficiencer, and a little magick, I was able to squeeze my way into this dimension. felt it wasn't my place to reveal myself while you were mourning over Bart. so I've been up here for the most part, keeping a low profile. But your bloody pigheaded brother has been hastening his efforts to sniff me out, and with the Master's patience waning, it was about time." She turned, sizing up everyone. "You all look powerful enough, but this is very dangerous. Your collars are but an insurance policy designed as an added threat to the Arena contenders. There is a field over this entire realm, that poisons the energies of life. Collars or not, he can kill with the press of a button."
