"Behave now, my sons. We are home and you will see your father soon." The green lioness purred, nosing them all. "Kall!" His voice had her dancing to meet him, but reluctant to leave her sons. She settled for increasing the pace a bit. Quite comfortable for the cubs still.
"You're no fun, Ini!" Rahepsi pouted and started to stalk the youngest.
The silver cub sat up, shaking herself. Something was bothering her sister. Maybe the same thing that was bothering her. "I am fine, and yourself?"

The youngest of the three relished his mother's attention briefly as she nosed at him, purring faintly for a moment. He didn't realize right off the bat that he'd ended up as the new target, distracted by the sights of their new -- well, new for -them- anyway -- home and the anticipation of finally seeing their father. There was so much to see!

Kall smiled and slowed, shaking his coat and sending liquid sunshine over the grass as the water left his chocolate hide. He smiled at her, roaring a gentle greeting. He eyed her, then froze, seeing the cubs.
Inishiro stuck his tongue out at his brother, then froze, crouching at the sight of the imposing male. He melted into the grass, trying to remain unseen.
Lakona gave her sister a gentle smile. "I'm fine..."

Nosing her cubs once again to stay put, the Queen bounded forward to greet him. A nuzzle and churr was gifted to him. "Kall, my heart." She rubbed her head against his shoulder. "I have news, as you have already seen. They are your sons."
Too busy stalking Tengai, the brown cub never saw his father. He pounced at his brother and missed. With a yelp Rahepsi rolled right into his father's legs.
"There are new cubs." Kami's gaze went toward the heart of the Pride.

Tengai himself had shrunken away at the sight of the large male, eyes wide. He was definately... a whole lot different from what he'd expected. Bigger. Scarier.
He jumped as Raphesi ended up flying clear past him clear towards their father, suddenly afraid for his brother. He tried his best to keep rational, that their mother was right there and wouldn't let anything happen. But she'd wanted them to stay there. What if there'd been a good reason for it?

Kall smiled and nuzzled her back. "My Only One..." He turned to view the cubs. "Sons? Three?" As Rahe hit his legs Kall looked down at him, smiling. The cub looked so much like him! He eyed the blue cub crouched in the grass, and the pale green one watching him. "Welcome home, sons...." He purred gently. "This is Cyan Serenity..."
Lakona bristled. turning toward the reunion of the King and Queen, curious, she trotted toward them, smiling. "Don't you want to see?"
Inishiro straightened and strode toward the lion, pulling even with Tengai. "We should see to Rahe..."

Tengai eased up as Kall spoke to them in such a kind way; it had become evident that he didn't intend to do anything malicious. Thank goodness. He nodded as Inishiro spoke to him, "Yes... alright."
The young cub took a deep, reassuring breath before stepping towards the rest of his family. He offered his father a small smile as he approached. "Hello... ," he said quietly, "Um... thank you." That seemed like the right thing to say, anyway.

Kall smiled at the green cub, amused at his manners. "What is your name lad? I'm Kall...."
Inishiro nudged Rahepsi and then bowed his head slightly at his King, shifting from paw to paw.

"Tengai... ," the cub answered, smile growing just a bit wider. "It's Tengai."

Kall smiled and nosed his green son. "Well met Tengai, my son." He leaned over and rubbed his cheek against Fayola's. "Well met my heart... I am so happy at your return, and the arrival of these fine cubs."
Inishiro watched the brown lion in interest, cocking his head and considering the lion he knew was his father. He took a deep breath and let it out, deciding to trust Kall. "Rahe.. You ok?"

The eldest Prince shook his head, rubbing the top of it. "Yea, 'm fine." Rahepsi looked up and stared. "Wow..."
Fay chuckled at her cubs and purred loudly. "I am glad, love, it would be hard to send them back." She smiled to show she was teasing.

Tengai giggled a bit as Kall nosed at him, feeling that much more at ease around the large male. He made his way towards his brothers, pausing to raise his brows as his mother's comment. They could've gotten sent away if he hadn't like them?!
It was a good thing Kall hadn't minded Rahepsi tumbling like that, then!

Kall sighed as though he was dissappointed, a mischievious light glinting in his eye. "Well... I do suppose we should keep them now.. Since it is too late.. I hope Dashira, Ferrian and Keyisha will understand."
Inishiro agreed with his brother, and nodded, whispering. "Yeah... Wow..." The dark king awed his pale blue son. "That's... A good word."

Kallivenion bowed his head and nuzzled Inishiro, smiling with Pride. They were fine cubs, all three of them. Little Rahepsi looked so much like Kall himself, and Tengai was the green of his mother's silken coat. Inishiro was the blue of his parent's markings, painted with his mother's green, and markings much like Keyisha, his elder sister. Fine cubs indeed! "Well, come along then you three!" He said turning back toward the den. "Let's get you all settled in!" Moving out at a gentle walk, he headed toward the slope of the plateau, nose turned toward the cave where his pride slept.
Inishiro trotted at his father's heels, eyes wide as he glanced around the Land in wonder. Trotting up onto the plateau he halted and stared at the waterfall, its pool, and the stream flowing from it. "Wow..." He murmured, then leapt into a run to catch up with his father. "Is all this home?"
Kallivenion smiled. "Yes.. For as long as you want to call it that, this is home..."
A now adult Dashira lounged in the mouth of her cave. She was hidden by the brush enough she could watch the arrival of her siblings without being seen, and for the moment she was content with that.
Seated on her dhoulder as always, Aseeri preened her feathers into order, blinking jewel brite eyes at the arrival of the Queen and her three Princes. She fluttered her wings and shifted her stance, drawing some of Dashira's attention.
Dashira cocked an ear toward her Familiar, stull watching her mohter, father and brothers. Satisfied when Aseeri ran her beak over one of Dashira's flakes, she turned her attention back to her now larger family. 'I wonder what Ferrian shall think?'
Lakona watched the family from a low branch of an acacia tree, smiling and wishing them a silent 'all the best'. She had spoken to the king about wanting to follow Tierany to her new Pride, and to her delight he had granted her that freedom. She had already wished Dashira a fond- and somewhat tearful- farewell, and now all she had to do was walk away. It was proving rather hard. She hadn't yet seen her sister to tell of her plan, but Dashira had assured her Kaminah would know. With a final sigh and a flick of her ears, Lakona climbed out of her tree and headed off into the day.

Tengai wasn't far behind his brother, taking in all the sights as best he could. The grin held strong, excitement glimmering in his eyes. He was going to have a field day getting to know this new home of theirs, he just knew it! He was so intent not to let anything pass him by that the little green cub very nearly ended up tripping over his own four paws once or twice.
