So it was possible, this was both a joy and a worry for the vampire before the elf spoke of Sal needing plenty of rest. 'I might not be the best at making tea, but I will do my best lady elf.' He said referring to her in a way he had been taught to do so when he was visiting elves for the first time.

As he entered the woman's kitchen he looked at her able to tell she was worried about what they came to speak with her about. 'Alright, what is it that has you worried. I could hear your heartrate go up when I asked about the possibility. Sal isn't in any danger is he?'

Vlad would have growled at the woman next to him if she wasn't deaf. She seemed to think he couldn't protect his own mate or child. He was the king of vampires! 'I can protect them I have done so with Sal so far, and being what I am I don't need sleep. Those that dare come near my family will regret it.' He voiced his thoughts carrying a hint of a growl.

Vlad knew that the woman wasn't really questioning his ability to be spiteful she wanted to be sure that his lover and her friend was safe. The vampire helped the elf with the tea and brought it out with her before he went back to Sal. 'How are you taking all this love?'

'I am very excited to be having a family with you my love. I wouldn't want to have children with anyone else.' He said kissing the merman before the other could pull away from him. 'What names have you thought of so far then? Though I am sure all of them are going to be wonderful coming from you.' He said smiling happily not hinting at all of the feelings stirring inside of him. The talk with Arianna had him thinking about all the things he would need to do to keep Sal and their child safe from hunters, not only those that would possible want to catch the pair, but also those that might want to kill the child and the merman. He wasn't going to do anything to worry his lover and cause stress to the other. It would be possible to cause harm to the unborn child. 'So Arianna, just how does a merman birth a child? And what would be the best way to do so? On land or in water?' Sure he figured that it would have to also be determined on just what the child would be like. 'Have there been children from this combination of parents before? I am curious to know just what our child might be like.'

'I like the names Javi and Alexis.' He said not mentioning Fred sounded much like Fredrick, the name of his brother and the man that had cursed him to being a vampire. 'Names don't have to seem important to be meaningful or special my love. Besides, I like these normal names, you have to remember Vladimir was a normal name in my time, it isn't now only because of the time period we live in.' He said smiling his eyes having a glow in his eyes.

Vlad chuckled as he heard what Sal had to say about the names. 'So we shall think of names that you will enjoy more. Hmmm, what about Aleksandra or Valentina for a girl? I can think of names like Remus, and Marcellus for boys.' He didn't mind that Sal was picky about the names of their child.

(I find it amusing that Valentina's middle name is Vladimirova -I looked up some interesting names to get something cool.)

Vlad smiled at his lover and put an arm around Sal and was pleased that Sal liked the names he had come up with. They were names he had heard back in his time. 'Yes, I will get you anything you want my little pearl you know that.' He said looking towards Arianna for a moment. 'Would you give us the recipes so I can make them for Sal? I am able to compensate you if you wish.' He said without hesitation.

Vlad smiled at Arianna and nodded. 'Thank you for being so wonderful to Sal when I was gone.' He said before she left for the kitchen when Sal spoke to him.

'She didn't say anything to alarming love. Nothing you should worry about anyways.' Vlad said trying to make Sal remain calm and happy. After a short while he sighed. 'She told me that a merman's child is rare and that collectors will be interested in our child, more so because the baby is a merman vampire mix. I wont let anyone near you for that though my love.'
