"A strange lion has been here. Look at the twigs." Brigett's eyes looked around. Maybe it was a new cub...though that was unlikely. "We should tell Adrasto..." She turned to see if she could find the king.
It was true that Sage had been to the den. It had a mistake on her part really. She had been wandering about trying to make sure she knew where everything was so she could better avoid the other lions. She had never intended on walking into their den. She now was in her own cave pondering over events in her life right now.

Jigsaw sniffed the twigs carefully "your right" he said looking around for Adraso as well. "I think he might be outside" Jigsaw said padding towards the entrance.
Mei Xing woke up suddenly "No! It got away!!!" she sqeaked. She looked around and felt hot with embarrassment "just a dream..heh heh.."

Adrastos was outside not far from the den and you could see him, he had been off sitting by himself watching the horizon. His muzzle raised he turned as he heard his name being called many times. He too had scented the other lioness who had entered the den last night, he however knew who it was. His steel orbs cast over the lands as he turned back to the den and walked to the other lions caustiously.

Knarnia hadn't minded the new scent. If Adrastos wasn't troubled, why would she be? She had headed down for a casual stroll, slow in her pace due to her swollen ankle but not stopped dead on her tracks. It wouldn't be some pain that would ground her to the den. Instead, she had headed down for the river's shore, taking a deep breath in the fresh air. She couldn't run after prey, but there was always fish...

"Knarnia!" he called before she got out of his sights. "Be careful, I haven't checked the lands for hyena's or anyone else." His orbs cast to her and then to the others, for some odd reason he felt odd, possibly because he was worrying for Shairi, or maybe it was something else.

A long-haired lioness was wandering the land, bickering with a blue bird, hovering near her. "Oh come on! We'll be fine taking a short cut through here. No one's going to hurt us." she sighed, rolling her eyes as her sparkling necklace bounced on her neck.
"You don't know who owns these lands! They may not let us pass!" Das, the bird, arguing. "Let's just take the long route. It's not like you have anywhere important to go!"
"Worry-wart." Faye teased as she spotted a den. Immediately, she paused. But then a thought crossed her mind. Maybe there was someone about! And they could point out some good places to explore! Or perhaps a pride... "Hello! Anyone around?" he called out, smirking as Das began to panic.

Adrastos' muzzle lifted as a breeze carried a new scent, a female. His ears flickered as she called out, he was about to leave to talk to Sage but now there was another on his lands which bothered him none.
He walked from his sitting point as he found himself in the prescence of a lighter colored female with longer hair, not like a mane though. He called back welcoming her as he padded near her, "Hello visitor. I am Adrastos, King of these lands." he bowed his large head to her respectivly.

Faye smiled as someone answered her call. "Greetings, Adrastos," she returned the bow. "So... you have a pride?" The lioness tried to see if any other lions were about. "I'm sorry if I've intruded, I was merely... searching."
Das was fluttering about. Oh yes, he was nervous. He was always worried about Faye. She rarely acted his age...

Adrastos was a bit pre-occupied by the fluttering bird until she started talking, "Oh yeah, I do." he smiled. "Theres Knarnia, Brigett, Jigsaw, Angela, Mei, Sin and Kamilah..." he looked up trying to remember everyone. "There's Sage aswell, but she doesn't stop at the den...well at least I thought she hadn't." he looked to her softly, "Nonsense, your not intruding, my lands are open to any whom are not enemies of course. Your welcome to stay as long as you'd like miss...?" Questioning her name.

The clothed lioness chuckled as the king listed off his pride members. "Oh, excuse me! My name is Faye, and that fluttering bundle of feathers is Das." Faye said, glancing at the blue bird. "You'd... You'd let me join your pride? But we've just met!" She was surprised, to say the least.

He shrugged, "It's up to you Miss. Faye. Thats how everyone seems to end up here. Most were wandering cubs that Knarnia and I have picked up as orphans and took them in. Like the last, Sin. I worry about her she just pranced herself into the cave." he chuckled, she was doing good there or he thought so anyways. He looked to he blue bird, "Pleasure."

Das huffed as he landed atop of Faye's head. "Charmed, I'm sure." he replied, shuffling from foot to foot.
Faye sighed. "Ignore him. He likes to be a downer. But... if you would allow me to join your pride, I would be most delighted!" she replied, looking eager.

"It would be a pleasure to have you join," he motioned to the den, "I think the others are still near or close by if you'd like to meet them?" he asked. His ears flickered as he listened for anything besides the frolicking bird. He kind of made him grin inside.

Faye smiled, "I would love to meet the other members!" She glanced around again, to see if she could spot any other lions. "How many others, are there?" she inquired, her ocean colored eyes searching.

"Well there are ten including us. So eight others he nodded." He started padding up to the den, but he didn't get to far until her heard a familiar step. It was one of the newest cubs sin.
A small red blotch could be seen bounding up to Adrastos and the new lioness. As soon as she got there the little lioness chirped to them, "Hiya!" She purred at Adrastos wondering if she was allowed to purr on the other female.
