Bakhti rolled her eyes not letting go of the boar even though she was sure it was dead. These things as all prey had they had managed to learn how to play dead. She watched as Amari started tearing at the boars hide though she was still making sure it was dead. Her paws were still holding it down though not with so much strength now. It was dead she could leave it.
She looked around the jungle and started tearing at the boars hide she wasn't going to let Amari eat it all after all she killed it if he helped or not she had killed it. It was hers but she would share it with him if not anyone else.

Sensing that the female had every intention of eating her fill first Amari backed up, giving her space and lay down on the grass. It felt good brushing against his fur and it was rather cool even though the temperature was so hot.
He blinked his eyes slowly, a look of sheer contentment falling over his features and he relaxed fully, yawning once more as he turned to watch Bakhti feast.
He flicked his tail lazily, thwapping at a fly which had decided to rest upon his flank and flexing the claws on his front paws.

She ate her fill though it wasn't really that much and stepped back letting amari eat. She did admire the young lion though he had alot to learn about everything.
She laid down her tail swatting the flys that flew around her. She smiled and licked at her paws removing the blood that covered them. She then smiled as she licked her lips watching Amari.

Amari pulled himself up onto his paws and glanced at Bakhti, making sure that she had completely finished before padding over to the carcass. He placed his paw on it to stop it from moving as he lowered himself down once more and tucking into the meat.
Almost instantly the ache in his stomach eased and he gorged savagely, paying no heed to the blood as it dribbled down his chin and stained the fur around his maw.
After a moment he raised his head and licked at the blood around his mouth with his rasping tongue, cleaning it as much as possible before sitting back and stretching a little.
Perhaps he had eaten a little too quickly. He let out a small groan, letting himself roll over to lay on his side, legs outstretched and eyes falling closed. "That was sooo tasty." He mumbled with a hint of a smile playing on his features.

Bakhti watched him as she yawned. She shook her head feeling pretty lazy herself but at the same time one of them had to be fully alert and it didn't look like Amari would be. She stood up and walked over to him rubbing her paw up and down his stomach hoping to tickle him after all she was getting bored.

Amari let out a small huff, raising his head up from the ground and blinking at Bakhti in confusion. Did she want to pop him or something? He chuckled and rolled over onto his back, reaching up to pat lightly at her with his front paws, mane hanging loosely in his face.
A cool breeze caressed by them, adding a little relief to the humid air but not so strong as to cast a chill over them. In the trees above their heads a bird also burst into a twittering song and filled the air with pleasant sounds.

She smiled at him, "Come on you lazy thing!" She wanted to live here so that meantsearching to see if any other lions lived here or not. "You coming, we have to check this place out!" She smiled at him her eyes glittering.

Amari groaned and rolled his eyes, giving her a grin before pulling himself to his feet. He shook himself vigorously and then yawned wide and long. His jaws snapped shut and he raised his head to glance about. "Yes ma'am." He padded forwards, nudging her playfully as he passed and then broke into a lazy jog, pausing to call over his shoulder.
"What you meant to say is you want to find out if there are any older male lions around, didn't yah?" He gave her a wink and laughed out loud, dashing into the brush to escape any pummeling she might wish to give him.

She rolled her eyes and followed him. Did Amari only think of love and stuff? She chuckled as she found him, "I aint gonna hit you!" She laughed as she ran over and nuzzled him. "Your only being yourself!!"

He laughed, leaping over a cluster of flowers and turning to face her, eyes sparkling with renewed life. "So you're telling me you don't ever think about finding a mate?" He arched a brow quizzically. "I mean come on, you're such a beauty you could have any male you wanted." He flashed a toothy grin in her direction and turned his head to gaze into the deeper section of the jungle.
Even from here he could hear the distant roaring of a waterfall and he suddenly realised how parched he was. He licked his lips and headed off slowly in the direction, waiting for Bakhti's reply.

She looked a little sad, if that was only the case. "Of course I want a mate..its just.. well.." She trailed off sighing. Who didn't want a mate? She didn't think she would find one though. He may say she is pretty but she doubted it. Look at Maawio because she is just beautiful!

He turned to face her briefly, catching the look of sadness on her usually pleasant face. Was something wrong? Had he perhaps upset her with his words? He felt a twinge in his heart and moved closer to her, she was beginning to feel like an older sister to him and he found himself repsecting and looking up to her, as well as a protective link that connected them.
"How about you and that Suku fellow? You seemed to get on well." He gave a more gentle smile this time, speaking more softly than loud and playful, showing that he was more serious now.

She smiled at him and then sighed again. "I am sure he already likes someone. Either way he is now a pride lion I am still a rouge and probably always will be." She looked away and laid down collapsing more then her steady calm action.
She looked to Amari again and smiled he would settle down with Maawio one day she was sure of it and hppy for him and her.

"He does?" Amari paused in thought for a minute or two before going to lay beside her, his tail waving lazily. His ears drooped a little as he listened to what she had to say and he lay his head on her shoulder. "Sounds like me and you are in similar predicaments then." He muttered, "I care a lot for Maawio but she deserves someone better and I'm just not sure whether the pridelands can offer what I want." He sighed, "if she asked me to stay I probably would...but...it would be selfish of me." He sighed and then suddenly realised something.
"Where has she gotten to anyway? I hope she isn't lost or anything?" A panic rose within him and he stood up once more, glancing around.
((eep I gotta go now, but we can continue tomorrow if you like =3 ))

She smiled, "She probably went home dont worry about her. We are rouges and they aint." She sighed, "At least you know Maawio likes you the same way you like her but with me Suku is just a friend I am sure he has his own mate." She didn't know but she could guess after all he deserved better then her anyway.
