Kyoko walked towards the table and thought to himself. Man, it would be awesome if that guy came back. I'd challenge him for sure!

Nekala thought of another song, raised the microphone again to sing.
"Strumming my pain with his fingers Singing my life with his words Killing me softly with his song Killing me softly with his song Telling my whole life with his words Killing me softly with his song
I heard he sang a good song, I heard he had a style And so I came to see him, to listen for a while And there he was, this young boy, a stranger to my eyes
Strumming my pain with his fingers Singing my life with his words Killing me softly with his song Killing me softly with his song Telling my whole life with his words Killing me softly with his song
I felt all flushed with fever, embarassed by the crowd I felt he'd found my letters and read each one out loud I prayed that he would finish, but he just kept right on
Strumming my pain with his fingers Singing my life with his words Killing me softly with his song Killing me softly with his song Telling my whole life with his words Killing me softly
He sang as if he knew me in all my dark despair And then he looked right through me as if I wasn't there But he was there, this stranger, singing clear and loud
Strumming my pain with his fingers Singing my life with his words Killing me softly with his song Killing me softly with his song Telling my whole life with his words Killing me softly with his song"

he sat at the bar making a sigh while waiting for customers and when it was finished he put it above the bar it said "only fools trash a place and not volunteer to help to clean it up"

Kyoko looked around to make sure Aikira was not around and took off his bowtie. He stuffed it into his pocket and strolled to the stage. "Nekala," He said, "any plans for tonight when our shift is over?"

Nekala felt like her heart started to speed up. She smiled at Kyoko. "No, I don't have plans." she answered.

Kiesu noted that Nekala stopped singing and put on anouther song.
Do you ever feel like breaking down? Do you ever feel out of place? Like somehow you just don't belong And no one understands you Do you ever wanna runaway? Do you lock yourself in your room? With the radio on turned up so loud That no one hears you screaming
No you don't know what it's like When nothing feels all right You don't know what it's like To be like me
To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one's there to save you No you don't know what it's like Welcome to my life
Do you wanna be somebody else? Are you sick of feeling so left out? Are you desperate to find something more? Before your life is over Are you stuck inside a world you hate? Are you sick of everyone around? With their big fake smiles and stupid lies While deep inside you're bleeding
No you don't know what it's like When nothing feels all right You don't know what it's like To be like me
To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one's there to save you No you don't know what it's like Welcome to my life
No one ever lied straight to your face No one ever stabbed you in the back You might think I'm happy but I'm not gonna be okay Everybody always gave you what you wanted Never had to work it was always there You don't know what it's like, what it's like
To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one's there to save you No you don't know what it's like (what it's like)
To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one's there to save you No you don't know what it's like Welcome to my life Welcome to my life Welcome to my life

Nekala felt like her heart stopped then sped up when he kissed her. She watched Kyoko as he left. She smiled then got back to sing another song.
"Get a load of me, get a load of you Walkin' down the street, and I hardly know you It's just like we were meant to be
Holding hands with you when we're out at night Got a girlfriend, you say it isn't right And I've got someone waiting too
What if this is just the beginning We're already wet, and we're gonna go swimming
Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you Why can't I speak whenever I talk about you It's inevitable, it's a fact that we're gonna get down to it So tell me Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you
Isn't this the best part of breakin' up Finding someone else you can't get enough of Someone who wants to be with you too
It's an itch we know we are gonna scratch Gonna take a while for this egg to hatch But wouldn't it be beautiful
Here we go, we're at the beginning We haven't touched yet, but my heads spinning
Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you Why can't I speak whenever I talk about you It's inevitable, it's a fact that we're gonna get down to it So tell me Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you
High enough for you to make me wonder Where it's goin' High enough for you to pull me under Somethin's growin' out of this that we can control Baby I am dyin'
Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you Why can't I speak whenever I talk about you
Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you Why can't I speak whenever I talk about you It's inevitable, it's a fact that we're gonna get down to it So tell me Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you?"

Nekala raised the microphone and began to sing.
"Working all day for a mean little man With a clip-on tie and a rub-on tan He's got me running 'round the office like a dog around a track But when I get home, You're always there to rub my back
Hey Julie, Look what they're doing to me Trying to trip me up Trying to wear me down Julie, I swear, it's so hard to bear it And I'd never make it through without you around
Hours on the phone making pointless calls I got a desk full of papers that means nothing at all Sometimes I catch myself staring into space Counting down the hours 'til I get to see your face
Hey Julie, Look what they're doing to me Trying to trip me up Trying to wear me down Julie, I swear, it's so hard to bear it And I'd never make it through with out you around No, I'd never make it through with out you around
How did it come to be That you and I must be Far away from each other every day? Why must I spend my time Filling up my mind With facts and figures that never add up anyway? They never add up anyway
Working all day for a mean little guy With a bad toupee and a soup-stained tie He's got me running 'round the office Like a gerbil on a wheel He can tell me what to do But he can't tell me what to feel
Hey Julie, Look what they're doing to me Trying to trip me up Trying to wear me down Julie, I swear, it's so hard to bear it And I'd never make it through with out you around No, I'd never make it through without you around No, I'd never make it through with out you around."
((I love this song, it's actually sung by a guy, but oh well.))
