He watched her walk in, thinking about what she had said.
She was honest, and that made him feel good, but sad that she had said she wasn't.
He followed her in.
"Well, now that we're here, mind telling me where we are?"

The girl spotted her and glared.
Oh s**t... thought Autumn, and then noticed that she was with Mikey Way.
Big time s**t... if she was going to be friends with these people, she couldn't get a stalker reputation.
She had already put Jesse to enough horror that night, so she turned to him.
"I'm going to go sit with them. If you want to leave, you can."
Then she turned around, and walked up to the table at which they were sitting.
"Hey guys," she smiled, trying to make it look like she was the nice person she was, and not a stalker, "Mind if I sit with you?"

Nic turned around to Gerard and waved her hand dramatically, diplaying to him the wonders of the store. "This is Hot Topic's anti-christ," she said. And it was. The store was everything Hot Topic would be if it wasn't the mainstream's attempt to capitalize on the "emo" fad. They had every band shirt imaginable, straight from the bands themselve. Posters, cds, clothes, dolls. Anything a person could want. It was paradise. And to top it all of, there were no tween tweebs running around pretending to be in the scene. "This is a bit of a haven for all of us who are tired of hot topic's jacked up prices, crappy merch, and poser customers. Sorry if I sound bitter but I've worked there way too long..."

"Woah, it's neat," he said looking around in the dimly lit store.
"But there's no customers, how do they keep it going?"
Gerard looked at some of the stuff.
Then he had an idea, "Hey, help me pick out a good band-tee. Maybe I can make a truce with Mike."

Nic helped Gerard dig through the band tees, finding a few she wanted herself. "Well, there are customers. But the trick is to not let any others find out about the place. So I think they get donations or something as well as the profits from their sales. Um... What bands does your 'Mike' like?" She asked ask she continued the hunt.

"Oh. That makes sense. And sorry, Mikey's my brother. He likes, a lot of the same stuff I like, Iron Maiden, Black Flag..."
He sifted through the T-shirts looking for one that seemed right.
"Here. I've got it."
He held up a small looking Anthrax T-shirt.
((The one Mikey still wears now. ^^))

"Awesome. Good taste." She commended Gerard and his brother on their band choices as she pulled out the most perfect AC/DC shirt. "Ha. Found me one too." Nic smiled widely at Gerard and laughed. "I swear, if my managers ever found out I shopped here, I'd be fired so fast..."

She was pretty when she wasn't in a bad mood.
"Hey, wanna buy these and go get some coffe or ice cream or something?"

Nic discovered that she adored Gerard's laugh. It was cute. She wanted him to do it again...
"Um yeah. That would be awesome." She went to the checkout counter and bought her shirt and waited for Gerard to do the same, then she headed towards the car.

The music blared as they drove, so Gerard started playing air guitar.
"You're driving, playing guitar and drving wouldn't be all that responsible of you, so I think you should have to sing."
He laughed.
"Anywhere specific you want to go? I could totally use some pumpkin icecream."

Nic laughed at Gerard's air guitar, but it was actually quite good. "The only way I'm singing is if you buy the ice cream." When they stopped at a red light Nic shook her head to the awesome bridge of AC/DC's Highway to H**l. "Ummm... I know this really good ice cream shop. They've got marble slabs and everything. Want to go there? "

Nic giggled at his antics and gave an overdramatic sigh followed by a "Fine." She switched the cd song to Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and sang along with te track loudly, trying her best to imitate Brian Johnson, but sounding more like herself than anything.

By the time they got to the ice cream shop they were both read faced from singing so loudly and dancing.
"You're a good singer." he commented while stepping out of the car.
"I could probably eat a couple ice creams now."
They walked inside and to the counter.
"I'll have a large cherry cheese cake," he looked over at Nic, "and thy lady will have..."

Nic smiled shyly at Gerard's complement on her singing. She didn't really sing in front of other people. "Thanks."
Nic gaped at him in surprise as he ordered, "I'll have a waffle cone with superman ice cream... Did you just order a whole cheese cake???"
