[WTF? What's their problem!?]
James could barely contain his joy. He slapped Sirius on the back, exclaiming, "It's great! And you'd never guess why!"
At the obvious amity between Lily and Sirius though, he quieted down somewhat, as nonplussed as he was.

(Lily sees both James and Sirius as big headed players. She doesn't get along with either very well, but she's more tolerating to Sirius because he's not constantly asking her out. And Sirius knows Lily dislikes James, so he's not exactly happy to see her when he wants to talk to James.)
"I'm good Emily, and what's so great James? Don't tell me you finally got Snivelous expelled." His voice was rising in obvious hope.
"You'll never believe it." Emily was bursting with joy, but decided she'd let James elaborate a little.
"That's for sure." Lily's voice warmed and she smiled slightly. She decided that if she could be friends with James, she could try being more civil with Sirius.

James drew himself up and said proudly, "Nope, even better, if that's possible! Lily," He stopped for suspense and cleared his throat. "Has agreed to be friends with me." He announced dramatically, smiling triumphantly.

"Really?" Sirius looked at Lily with surprise and for once couldn't say anything else.
Lily just sat quietly. It was a miracle how the boy could draw something like that out so long. Oh well, it had been years. "Yes Sirius, Po... I mean, James and I are friends now." She smiled and looked up to the library. "Sunrise is never going to let me live this down."
"That's for sure." Emily laughed and bounced around the group. "I'm going to go tell her." She ran off, and quickly ran up to the library leaving Lily, James, and Sirius alone on the grounds.

Sunrise, feeling slightly ashamed of storming off from Lily and hiding in the library, got up and started to make her way back down to apologize. The next thing she knew, she was running right into Emily and sprawled out all over the floor.

Emily had suddenly crashed into something hard and fell over. When she looked again she saw Sunrise and her smile broadened. "Hey Sun, you'll never guess what just happened at the lake." She left it there to create some suspence.

"I dunno, what happened at the lake?" Sunrise asked with a slight groan as she got up. She knew perfectly well what had happened, but she wasnted Emily to feel good about herself too.

"Lily and James became friends." Emily was bouncing up and down with a smile on her face. "Lily also became civil with Sirius." Emily clapped and enveloped Sunrise in a big bear hug as she danced around the corridor gleefully.
(So Kakashi Sensei calls Naruto the show offy, hyperactive, number one loud mouth ninja in the village. Does that remind you of anyone?)

(Yep yep, and I'm not scared of you Katie. How many miles are between us? I do know that we are at least 15 longitude degrees away (Soon to be 30) seeing as we are in different time zones. mrgreen See, I can remember. I'm not going to completly fail this Astronomy class.)
"Yah, lets go see them." Emily bounced down the corridors half dragging Sunrise behind her because she was so happy. Sure she wished she could have had James, but she knew very well that Lily and James completed each other. A loud mouth, hyperactive, showoffy, hardheaded boy like James would be perfect for a mild, overworked girl like Lily. "Hurry Sunrise."

"I'm hurrying as fast as you can drag me!" Sunrise shouted, her voice shaking from running. SUnrise mildly wondered how Sirius was going to take the fact that James and Lily were friends. That would be interesting...

(About the fact that you don't scare me, or the fact that I'm not going to fail the Astronomy course? If it's the astronomy course it's giving me a headache again because I have absolutly no idea what I would see during a Lunar eclipse if I lived on the moon.)
Emily laughed some more and finally got to James, Lily, and Sirius. "Hi guys, is everything still alright?"
"Things are fine Emily." Lily smiled calmly as she faced Sunrise. "I'm sorry about earlier Sunrise."
"Oh, hey Sunrise. Where have you been hiding out all this eventful day?" Sirius bounced over to her with a smile.

"I shouldn't have lost my temper though." Lily looked away. "I do that a lot, and I think that's why I've refused to even think of being friends with James until now."
