"Jeff is a little busy with his husband right now." Katrina said from the doorway she was leaning against.
Lilly jumped and her grip on Dain tightened.

Dain squeezed Lilly's shoulder in reassurance. "Umm, alright. That kills my idea."

"Don't worry, I can drop you two off at the flower shop if you'd like." Katrina smiled. She could tell Lilly was scared shitless but wasn't sure what to do to make it better.

Katrina nodded. "As long as you two can make it to the garage..." She raised a brow at Dain.
Lilly was staring at the floor. She scooped Dain up and nodded at Katrina without making eye contact.

"Guh!" Dain wrapped himself around Lilly. "This is not necessary! I need to walk on my own or my legs will continue to not work."

Lilly blushed in embarrassment. "Oh...sorry..." She muttered before setting him back down. Katrina shrugged. "Follow me."

Dain nodded at Katrina and snuck a kiss on Lilly's cheek when Katrina had turned. "It's fine. I just figured it'd be good to start walking again." He smiled at her.

Lilly smiled for a split second before helping Dain out through the house and down to the garage.

Dain climbed into the backseat. "Hey Lilly. Do you want to take my car instead of Cala's truck?"

Lilly shrugged. "ok..." She climbed into the backseat with Dain. Katrina climbed into the drivers seat. She smiled at them when she backed out of the garage and headed down the road.

Katrina nodded. "Can do." She turned down another street and made pretty good time down to the club.
Lilly was holding Dain's hand and staring out the window.
