Hello GASOC... it's been many years since the core members have posted here. I have somehow managed to stay in this website, while I'm sure most of you have already gone your separate ways from Gaia, I haven't... and I'm happy you did.
You would probably be utterly enraged and pissed at all the craziness the economy has caused in Gaia per se, and the art shops are all a festivity of bribe temp shops. Back in 2008, we spoke of 200 million being a hefty amount, that number has since more than doubled to 200 billion being the new 200 million, and "rich" users can have items worth multiple halos. Users rich enough can even CREATE items for Gaia with the proper item to be redeemed, of course. It's completely crazy.
The main reason I'm still here, however, is due to the few friends I still hold near and dear to my heart who still visit this place. It certainly been damn too long to be on a website like this after more than a decade, and some of us are already 30+ year olds or more. It's certainly crazy, but true. How time flies...
I hope that whomever reads this from the original core members remember that amazing original and rebellious spirit we always advocated for us and for others. To never give in or give up against critics and to always do our best in whatever we do.
