Dain nodded. "Okay." He smiled back at her. "Goodnight, I guess." He rolled over and closed his eyes. Hardly a minute later he was asleep.

Lilly smiled as she watched him sleep. She reached down and grabbed the throw that was on the end of her bed and tossed it over him. She decided to get up and put her pajamas on: Green plaid pj pants and a blue tank. She crawled under her comforter and wrapped an arm around him.

After nearly an two hours of peaceful sleeping Dain had stopped breathing.

Lilly froze for a moment. She had been reading but she didn't want to be paranoid. She couldn't hear Dain snoring, and it frightened her. After another second she couldn't take it, she threw the book and turned Dain onto his back. Her fear was right, he had stopped breathing. "Oh s**t. s**t."
Her brain was going crazy. She had taken a safety course back in college at her Gran's request and for once she was glad she had. Hard surface, she had to do CPR on a hard surface, thank goodness the floor was wood.
She threw the blankets off and scooped Dain up. She set him on the floor gently and tilted his head before she started the CPR.

It didn't take long for Dain to bolt upright and gasp. He looked around with wide eyes. "Wha...?"

Lilly blinked at him for a second before throwing herself at him. "Oh god, Dain!"

Dain was still gasping for breath. He stared at Lilly then slowly wrapped his arms around her.

"Damnit boy! Don't you do that again!" Lilly pulled herself off of him and took his face in her hands.
