Katrina turned and smiled devilishly when she heard a second mans voice. "Hmm two fine hunks of man, well this is a first. I hope it's not my last."

Lilly took his hand as they walked into the restaurant.

"Wow that must have been one night if I don't remember...oh um..." Katrina thought for a moment. "Jimmy La'Franchi and I were making out on the couch at Britney-Anne's sorority party...You know the Kappa Kappa Delt's? It's the big pink house on top of Greek Row. Man the guy is a great kisser, but I think I got up for more beer and when I got back Cindy had taken my place, that little upstart. Just because she's pack masters daughter doesn't mean she can take everything thats mine." Katrina growled. "I drag her blonde little a** out to the yard...there were too many humans so we couldn't fight properly but I did kick her a** a good one. Hmmm after that...I'm at a blank. I must have had some more beer. I didn't think I could get drunk anymore, who are you guys anyways?"

They quickly got seated in a booth and Dain started looking through one of the menus.

Lilly flipped through the menu as well before commenting, "I was surprised Gran hadn't made us breakfast or something...she's been trying to get me laid for years now."

Lilly shook her head but smiled. "Gran has always been one for wishful thinking. She says it'd be good for me but I think she just wants great gandkids."

Dain continued to laugh then shrugged. "It can help to get laid every now and then."

Lilly raised a brow. "Dain, I've had sex once in my entire life, it was the most horrible experience of my life, I don't understand how it could help?"

Dain's jaw dropped. "...Whoa." He shook his head. "Obviously you had sex with the wrong person and it tends to put you in a better mood... when you have good sex."

Lilly raised a brow. "It's that bad huh? That I'm a prude?" Lilly fidgeted.

Lilly bit her lip and hid her face behind the menu. Why did she always ruin the conversation?

Dain looked back at his menu and sighed. Why did he always end up being a jackass?

The waitress came by and took their orders. Once she left, Lilly sat there awkwardly sipping at her mocha. She couldn't meet his eyes.

Dain finally stopped and put his head in his hands. "Look... I'm really sorry about earlier."

Lilly looked at him and blinked. "What?"

"The whole... prude thing."

Lilly llooked confused, "Why are you sorry for that? I''m the awkward one here. Hell I'm a ******** giraff woman whose only had sex once and never a real relationship. Bluntly put I'm too afraid of other people to call for help if I was dieing."

Dain sighed then got up and slid into the seat next to her. "You're a sexy giraffe woman though." He smiled and pulled her in for a kiss.

Lilly huffed when she pulled away. "I just don't understand." She shook her head trying not to cry.

Dain had a hand on her cheek and frowned. "What?"

"You. I don't care what you say, from my point of view you have a very successful club, you're independent, and very attractive. We all have our problems but you seem so well off. I'm not ignoring what happened yesterday but it just doesn't make sense."

Katrina finally recognized the scent. "Oh s**t!" She fell out of the bed and scrambled back. "W-Wheres my purse?!" She looked around franticly. "Stay back you night walkers!" Her voice cracked. "Pack master warned me about you people..."

Dain shook his head. "No. I'm a wreck." He started to tear up. "I haven't had functional relationship with anyone... Ever. Everyone I've ever cared about before has left me. Sure, I have my own business but that doesn't mean I'm not a lonely depressed loser."

"Dain..." Lilly wiped her eyes. "You are anything but a loser."

Dain shook his head again. "That's all I am. I don't know why you like me." He turned away from Lilly. "I'm a ******** manic depressive suicidal loser."

"Sorry..." She whispered before she punched him in the arm. "I'll do it again to if you say it again. I'm sorry, this conversation is all my fault."

Dain grabbed his arm. "********!" He looked back at Lilly. "It's not you're fault." He got up and sighed. "Let's just forget this and eat our food so we can go do something fun."

As if on cue the waitress came by with two plates of food. She eyed them curiously as she set the food on the table. "Enjoy." She smiled and wanded off to the next table. Lilly just nodded and started picking at her food.

Talia pulled away from Brandon and laughed. "Oh fine."
Brandon pulled Talia closer. "Pay no attention to Greg. He's actually too happy for me to actually care."

Katrina was in a full panic. She had been with vampires! And now she and now she had no idea where she was. They had obviously been in her head. "You! You did this to me! I can't get drunk, my metabolism prevents that! You've been in my head! What did you do to me!?" She searched franticly for her purse again. She always kept a stake in her purse just in case.

Jeff grunted and growled as he pulled himself away from Yakov. He took a deep breath and grinned. "Best one yet."
