Talia looked at Brandon and smiled. She still had problems believing she was even with him let alone getting married to him.

Lilly felt like a goddamn princess and she liked it. She leaned against him as they walked into the diner.

Dain could stop smiling. He opened the door for her and sat down with her by the bar. The woman behind the counter turned and smiled at them. "What can I do for you kids?"

Lilly smiled at her. "Hi Martha, I'll get three double cheeseburgers, a large plate of your homefries and two cups for Gran and I and whatever Dain wants. We're going to take it over to Gran at the shop and eat there if you don't mind."

Martha nodded. "Sounds fine to me sweetie." She looked at Dain. "What would you like?"
Dain thought for a moment. "Um, make it four cheeseburgers."
Martha smiled. "Alright. Is that all on one check?"
Dain nodded. "Yep."

Lilly bit her lip. She wanted to pay but kept her mouth shut. Instead she stared back into the kitchen and watched them work.
