J'rel slipped on his footing as he was suddenly pulled off balance. He stumbled a bit and caught his traction as he was pulled along. He grinned as she ran with him and decided to racer her. He took off at full speed.

Eisel smiled slightly, but didn't reply. Victory. Point for Eisel. And you had the nerve to hassle ME, Umbrielth commented with mock chagrin. Eisel couldn't help but laugh aloud. "Do you know your way around enough to find the infirmary?" she inquired of Z'Arian, looking slightly skeptical.

"Oh, I dunno. Possibly, but not quite sure. " It was his turn to play with her. He did of course, know where it was. He'd lead her on a bit, and then take her there. He turned them down a hall that lead in the opposite direction. "Let's see love....I think it's this way."

Still a bit skeptical, she followed him. "Aren't the kitchens this way, too?" she asked slowly. "I didn't know they were near each other..." They aren't, Umbrielth chipped in cryptically, but refused to say any more. Eisel was getting a vibe of amusement from the gold, though, so it must be okay.

"Yup, they are. And no, they're not. That's why we're turning here." He hung a left and led her back deeper into the weyr, completely the opposite direction from the destination. He had a smile on his face. Vrätoth, make sure your mate doesn't tell about what I'm doing, for I'm sure you've told her. He picked up his pace, and swung her around, kissed her cheek and resumed walking, one arm around her waist.

Eisel was taken off guard by the skilled maneuver and just sort of went along, ending up blinking in slight confusion as she was led down the hall by Z'Arian. Sure. We'll go with that..., she told herself, not really all that worried about finding the infirmary anymore.

He led her on a ways, and after a while, he stopped. "You know what, I do believe that I've been leading you on a wild goose chase. He pointed. There was the infirmary door. He had taken her in a great circle around and ended up there after all. "So, shall we? Or would you rather just head back? We could take the rest of the day to chat lively and stay up all night laughing at each other." He figured he'd loose out, but worth a shot.

Eisel stopped and blinked at the door for a mment, then turned to Z'Arian to give him a "look". "I'm going to throw you against a wall and kiss you if you try that again," she replied with no trace of a grin. She'd been something of an actress at the homestead, where entertainment had come entirely from the people themselves. "And there won't be anything you can do about it, so just you keep that in mind." With that, she swept imperiously through the infirmary door, biting her lip hard to keep from laughing. Do I get a kiss, too?, Umbrielth asked with a mental fluttering of eyelashes. You...you accomplice, Eisel shot back, giggling despite herself. She took a deep breath to steady herself and started peering into each little nook and cranny that was stuffed with dried plants and small packages of unknown significance. Looked like the last Weyrhealer had been a total slob.

Z'Arian grinned as she swept through the door. He had succeeded. So, what the heck? He walked in and stood just inside the door waiting for her to finish up. If he couldn't convince her to stay with him tonight, there was always more nights they could laugh together. He watched her graceful body slip around the room as he stood, leaning on the door. "Well love, how's it look?"

"Terrible," she replied, wrinkling her nose at what looked like the remains of someone's lunch from who knew how long ago stuffed in with some raw numbweed. "It's going to take weeks to sort through all this to find the useful stuff and the junk." She stood and surveyed the room sternly, a frown forming on her face. "I'll just get some of the regular healers to do that," she decided, waving one hand in dismissal. Turning to Z'Arian, she smiled. "Seeing as how I've gotten that taken care of, I suppose I have nothing better to do than to stay up all night laughing at you."

Well, that had it. He'd won afterall. He pulled her over to him and gave her a warm hug. Then, he opened the door, bowed slightly, and waved his arm, "After you then."

Eisel stepped out and waited for him, giving him a warning look. "Seeing as how you decided to be cryptic about our path here, I've no clue how to get back. So. You can lead the way, but you better watch your step this time," she told him with a smile threatening to appear on his lips. It was hard, keeping it down.

"How to get back....let's see....." He gave her a sly smile and kissed her softly. "I'm just kidding. This way." He lead her around a corner and down a hall, the turned into his room, a considerably shorter path. "See? That was easy." He grinned.

Eisel smiled at his teasing, and then nearly said something unpleasant at the turn of events. "We were that close and you decided to go on a Sunday drive?!" she demanded, still fighting a smile. Finally, it broke through and she laughed, putting one hand on the wall for support. "I'm NOT going to forget this, though," she maintained, echoing the thought for Umbrielth. "You are officially on the untrusted valet list."

He grinned. "Oh love, I expect you won't forget it. I know I'll end up having something done to me in return, and wouldn't have it any other way." At this, he turned to unbuckle his sword and lean it against the wall. He fastened his belt back up and turned back to Eisel. "So, shall we sit?"
