Edward looked into her eyes and sighed. "Well, you might not even believe me until stuff starts to happen.... but im like a bad luck magnet. People always have bad stuff happen to them if they hang out around me... its horrible. I hate it." he frowned, hugging his knees.

Missy smiled a warm smile. "Well I can take anything, and if you think for one second that i would let something like bad luck keep me away from a great guy like you. You are crazy." She said while putting her hand on his knee.

Edward glanced at Missy's hand on his knee and smiled at her slightly. "Thanks," he said a bit embarassed.

Missy shruged and took her hand off of his knee. "No problem. You know i am determined to make you less uncofertable around me." She said with a small laugh and a big smile.

"Well if it makes you feel any better I feel more comfortable around you than most people.... especially other girls. They are just a species I can never comprehend," he said honestly.

Missy looked into his eyes and threw her arms around his neck. "If it makes you feel better you are the first guy i have ever been completely comfertable around." She said while pulling away from him.

"I would say so." Missy said while falling on her back. Her hair fell beside her, fanning out to its full length. She sighed in content then noticed that something in the air was off. It felt like something was taking away the oxygen in the air. She sniffed around her and quickly sat up. She looked frantically over at Edward. "There is a wild fire about five miles away and its moving towards the school." She said in a rush but knew he already read her thoughts because of the expressing on his face. "We need to warn everyone and get help. Actually you need to do that, i need to go try to keep it at bay untill help arrives." She said while kissing his cheek. She pulled back and looked into his eyes "This isnt your fault, you know. I know i cant read minds but I know thats what you are thinking." She said while huging him tightly.

Edward couldnt help but to think it was his fault for the fire, but returned the hug. "Okay, ill go tell everybody if they would even listen ot me that is." he sighed, huggign her and then got up and ran into the school spreading the word about the fire.

Missy ran into the woods and towards the rapidly growing fire. She used all of her strength to keep it from moving in any direction. After what had seemed like days fire fighters and forset rangers were helping her. She directed them and told them exactally what needed to be done. Finally the fire was out and you could see where it had been started and what had started it. Missy saw pissed to find a barrel labbled 'Flamable' with matches in it. She quickly rebuilt some of the trees and plants, hoping she would go unnoticed. When she was satisfied she ran back to the school to find Edward. She found him pacing in the courtyard. "Thank you for getting help." She said as she sat on the floor next to where he was standing. She was flush and her body felt like giving out. She focused on Edward to stay awake.

Edward was relived when he saw Missy return. He sat down next to her seeign she seemed exhausted. "Are you okay?" he asked her a bit worried, wrapping an arm around her comfortingly.

Missy breathed in and out a few times before answering his question. "Im. Fine. Just. Tired." She said while trying to keep her eyes open. She leaned into Edward to keep herself from falling backwards.

Missy shook her head and thought yes to him. She tried to stand up but was to weak to. 'told you it was bad when i used my powers.' She thought to him while blinking a couple of times to focus on the things around her.
