 "It was my fish tank," she frowned, not enjoying the fact that her fun had been ruined. "And I don't know, you choose... I'm not good at making decisions apart from my job and killing people."
Mia sighed, running a hand through her hair and shrugging out of her clothes. With her free hand, she grabbed a blanket that was hanging across the arm of the couch, and pulled it around her, getting more comfortable with her temporary sleeping place.

Ishtar had enough of the false paradise and was soon walking out of her apartment building to catch a cab to a nearby club. She was just so bored, and making your fantasies act out in front of you could only entertain you for so long. And who knew, maybe she could close a deal tonight, get some drunkard to give up his right arm for a sports car.
Those were always her favorite deals, and Ishtar would readily admit that she was pretty sick by the mere fact she collected spare body parts. Then again she was often visited by someone who couldn't walk or had lost their arm in an accident not too long after she aquired said limbs. And deals were made, people walked agin or shook hands, and some poor sap coulnd't drive the car he'd wished so hard for.
It wasn't too long before she was leaning against the bar of the club, feeling the rythem in her very bones. Well, if she didn't close a deal she'd get laid at the very least.

Aaron chuckled, "Well you're the one who knows where I live. I couldn't even guess where you do." he said, "I never really plan meetings, I plan when I'm going to kill and commit crimes. Besides, I'm a little drunk. The Everclear was too strong for me because I don't drink too often." he said with a smile.

Mia turned her head away from the phone in her hand to view the digital clock on the cable box beneath the television. It's green numbers blinked 10:30, causing her eyes to raise from surprise.
"Well, apparently it's only 10:30, and I don't get to bed 'till 3, usually. Want to hang out right now?" she questioned as she sat up on the couch, feeling the blankets soft fleece slowly slide down her smooth skin.

Aaron smiled, a real smile, "I think I would like that very much, Mia. I don't usually sleep at all myself, so it would be no problem for you to stay as long as you like. I wouldn't mind if you stayed overnight either." he hinted slightly. Aaron tried to be as subtle with his flirting as possible to avoid scaring her away.

They all left, probably heading to RED, since M.I.A. had suggested it so cheerfully. She was right about the bartender too. He supposed he would head over there too.
When they had all left, he turned into Zap and zipped over to the bar. He landed behind, turning back into Jet. Entering, he sat a few seats over from a guy and heavily drinking girl. He smirked and grabbed a coke. He was too young to drink, but was friends with the owner and could still come in.
He listened to their conversation and it became obvious that those two and the bartender Mia, were the super-humans from earlier. As they all left, he felt slightly surprised, all this time M.I.A. had been serving him drinks and he had no clue.
He left too. Running behind the building, turning into Zap, and shooting up into the sky, looking like a blur of light.

"Don't get your hopes up buddy," she smirked as she hung up without saying goodbye. With speed and silence, Mia crept into her room to her walk-in closet, shutting the door behind her. Not wanting to take forever on her look, she simply threw on her pajama shorts and a small tank top before writing a quick note to Cameron and running off to Aaron's, only taking moments to get there.
"Knock knock," she sang as she popped up through the grid into his home. "Hope you don't mind me barging in on such short notice."

Aaron walked downstairs from his room with a smile, "Welcome to my humble home. I hope my lovely guest will make herself at home here." he chuckled, "Hello again." he said, "As lovely as ever I see." Aaron smiled and winked.

A thin eyebrow raised on Mia's forehead, confusion disguising her features. "Seriously? I'm just in pajamas, but thanks anyways," she smiled as she plopped her butt on the couch.
"So what do we do now? Is there anything fun to do in your Evil Lair?" she questioned, making hand movements when she spoke the last two words. She brushed a piece of hair off of her shoulder and looked up at Aaron with a smile, not noticing that her makeup on her body was wearing off, not that it mattered or anything.

Aaron shrugged, "Movies, T.V., and of course..." he trailed off and felt the alcohol take over. Aaron moved forward and sat on the couch next to her. He kissed her quickly before getting control of himself again, "Um, sorry... I should have asked first..." he mumbled, scooting away in case she was angry at him.

Mia's eye twitched at the bluntness of the kiss. She decided to shake it off, deciding that it was just the Everclear kicking in. I mean, it's not like I'm not interested, but we've just met... she pondered, settling back into the couch and looking over at him in the corner of her eye.
"How about we settle on a movie, and if we get to know each other a little better LATER, then we can do what your drunken mind is thinking. And when I say later, I mean later," she suggested, trying to make it clear what she wanted. She gave him a smile, as to not worry him about his actions, and patiently waited for him to choose out a movie and play it.

Aaron nodded stiffly, blushing and moving slowly over to the television and looking through his movie collection, "Well, I think I might have a different taste in movies than you... I have a few genres, but I tend to watch horror. Zombie, vampire, werewolf, and slasher flicks are usually in my DVD player." he admitted sheepishly, "But I also have comedy, action, and monster movies. What do you want?" he asked, looking up at her. He was still blushing.

A giggle bubbled up from Mia's throat, finding his embarrassment amusing. "You are so cute," Mia commented as she pulled a blanket off of the couch to wrap around herself. "And how about we watch the horror flick that's in your DVD player at the moment. Make it random," she stated with the blanket tucked up to her chin, trying to keep warm.
"Although, I must say, although I kill bastards everyday, I don't settle well for horror movies. That's why you're here, though. Your arm is going to be the one losing blood flow to it when I get scared," she warned with a smile.

Aaron smiled, he knew which one was in the player and it just so happened to be one of the scariest he owned, "I'm fine with that. You can hold on to me all you want." he winked and turned the T.V. on. Aaron pressed the play button and sat down next to Mia as the movie started. He watched as a young woman ran down a dirt path, being followed by the antagonist of the movie. Aaron loved this movie for a few reasons, namely the amount of blood and the fact it was based on a true story.

As Mia watched the bloody and horrific events on the television screen, she held onto Aaron's arm for dear life, scared that the killer on the screen may come out to get her. The side of her face was pressed in to his arm, too, but only to hider her face if it became too much for her.
He's so lucky that this movie was in there! she pondered, hoping that her thoughts would block out the movie. Now he gets the pleasure of me crawling to him for comfort... but, I kind of like holding onto him like this, she smiled, slightly glancing up at his television lit eyes before returning her gaze to the screen which was, at the moment, horrifying to look at.
