She watched in slight horror and part anger as the net was cast over Errdegahar. "Let him out!" She growled. The gem glowed bright before disappearing completely. A bright red pony with flames appeared before her. "Agate of the Flames! Bestow upon me your strength and speed and burn my enemies!" She called. The summoned gem spirit nodded it's head and turned to face Ramoth. Meanwhile Krystelle began digging through her bag to find a protective crystal/gem.

Errdegahar's eyes went wide, "I had no clue you could do such things..."
Ramoth eyed the fiery horse before deciding on a course of action. He chanted his own spell, "Goddess Lloth guide my hooves. Give me water to drown these fools!" His hooves coated with water and he directed it at the fire horse.

"I didn't tell you about my talent with crystals and gems? I'm sorry that this is how you found out about it." She replied pulling out a black gem, "Tourmaline, guardian against the dark! Protect us from the evil that threatens us!" The black tourmaline glowed darkly and a bulky black armor wearing pony appeared. It guarded the flame agate spirit but disappeared after the water hit it. The black gem reappeared in Krystelle's hoof cracked. "Now Agate of the Flames!" The red pony quickly dashed towards Ramoth preparing to attack with flames.

Ramoth snorted. "Clearly we have underestimated our opponent." He smiled and called upon his inherent gifts from the spider. He soon disappeared against his surroundings, in complete camouflage.
The web disappeared from around Errdegahar after he disappeared. "Krystelle, are you unharmed?" He moved to her, sheathing his sword in the air.

The flame agate spirit charged at Ramoth but he was gone before it got to him. Slowly it turned towards Krystelle and bowed its head. It disappeared in a puff of flames. The gem reappeared in her hoof. Hearing Errdegahar she turned to him and stumbled. "Fine. I'm fine." She said before falling towards the ground. Summoning two crystal spirits so close together and having one damaged had taken it's toll on her.

Errdegahar moved to catch her, "You do not seem fine, Krystelle. Not when you can hardly walk." He looked her over for any scratches. "You are a fierce opponent, Mistress. It is almost as if I have traded one priestess for another." He couldn't help but smile, "Though, I like this one much better, as long as she is well."

She leaned into him after he caught her. "I'm just tired. Having one of my gems damage has bad side effects. I'm lucky that it is just making me more tired than usual." She replied with a shake of her head, "Remember I'm not your mistress. I'm your friend. As for me being a fierce opponent.... my family made me that way before I left."

"Is there no way to repair the gem?" He hadn't yet let go of her, though he didn't realize it. "You have not told me of your family..."

"Sadly there's not. I can use it again but I really shouldn't. I'll end up getting hurt instead of just tired. I'll have to find another black tourmaline." She replied looking up at him, "I haven't told you anything about them because I don't like speaking of them. I will tell you that I come from a family of demons who specialize in crystal and gem summoning. The talent is stronger in my younger sister and is quite different in my older brother. But generally it is like mine."

"Perhaps someday I'll tell you more about them.... although I do hope you never have to meet any of them." Krystelle replied standing on her own, "That's a good question. Black tourmaline was one of the ones I took with me when I left my family. So there should be some in this Valley.... but there should also be some in Dream too. It's just a matter of finding a store that has them or finding a natural deposit."
