~fantasy--whether it be one kind or many ex: fairies, wizards etc.
~the many shades of gray--what i mean by this is have a bunch of familiars that are gray, but with a little sparkle whether it be piercing green eyes or a bright green spot by the eye
~can familairs have clothing/items if so id say choose one item like a handkerchief and have each wear one/have one in their mouth
~time--really general but perhaps have a few cowboy like a few victorian a few futuristic etc.
