"Just watch." She pulled her wand out and flicked it lightly, sending out a small green orb of light that ran straight through the professor's translucent head. A couple of students sniggered, and of course, followed suit. Completely shaken by the sudden interruption to his normally comatose classes (and the orbs now flying at him from all angles), he turned around for a moment, searching for where the light was going. "Come on." Jessica gathered up her books quickly and grabbed onto Matt's hand, dragging him quickly towards the door and runing out right as he started calming down the class.

Matt stared at her. "You're crazy," he said, in an almost awed voice. He looked back at the doorway of the classroom. "I think Peter might've seen us," he said, accentuating the disapproving edge in his voice.

Jessica laughed at the thought. "So? Peter and I aren't seeing each other this week." She said this week as if it were so natural to her, to just be with him one day and not the next. "I'm sure Binnsy won't miss us." She placed her hand softly on his shoulder and practically cooed at him under her breath. "So, where would you like to go?"

Back to class, Matt willed himself to say. C'mon. You can do it. He pulled her by the shoulders into a nearby empty classroom so that no prefects or teachers could tell them off. "You're...great. Okay? You are. But Peter's mad in love with you. Why are you stringing him along like this?" asked Matt, secretly hoping that Jessica had a legitimate reason and he wouldn't feel so guilty about any of this.

Jessica smiled at the compliments and ran her fingers through her hair. "My realtionship with Peter is...complicated." She crossed her arms delicately over her chest, walking away from him a few steps before stopping. "He is wonderful, really, but he doesn't give me that one thing I need."

Matt looked at her wearily. "Oh yeah?" he said, moving back so that he and Jessica were several yards apart. He leaned against the wall. "What's that?"
Leigh was the first one to notice that Matt had gone. She had been unable, until now, to believe that there really was something going on Matt and Jessica, but here it was. She kept her eyes affixed to the parchment, and was taking notes on the Goblin Rebellions.

Jessica turned on him, sauntering towards him again, and closing the distance rather quickly. In a quick, almost ninja style move, she grabbed the back of his necks and pulled him towards her, pressing her lips against his. She pulled back and grinned at him almost wickedly. "Variety."

Matt shook his head disbelievingly, being (for the most part) utterly unaffected. "No. No. Besides," he said, deciding to fib, even if it was a little late. "Look, I've already got a girlfriend. Thanks, but no thanks." He turned around and exited the room before she could ask him who it was. Deciding not to go to class, he turned the corner and headed towards the Common Room.

Jessica folded her arms over her chest, watching him rather huffily as he stormed off. "Well fine. You'll come around." She grinned and sauntered back through the halls. Class was nearly over so she didn't bother to return to the classroom. Instead she waited outside Professor Binns's room for Peter.

Peter walked out of charms and walked down the corridor looking for Matt.
Behind him, Kris was following him behind a crowd of kids talking on their way to DADA. (Defense against the dark arts)
