STAGE 1 GO!

Nyyrikki examined the first stage and grinned. It looked easy enough. It wouldn't take him long to pass this.

The sextuple step was simple. It was like stomping on gnomes, pretty much. He lept onto the log and the force of impact rolled him down quickly. The jumping skitter was a bit more difficult, but he managed to grunt his way through it and launched himself across the bladed log muttering "Jack, jack, jack, jack!"

And then there was the warped wall. It seemed easy enough, but about halfway up his shoe slipped and he went skidding down the curve. He slammed his fist on the ground and got up angrily, stalking back to the beginning of the course.

STAGE 1 GO!

Herryk's guffaws and bellows of laughter carried across the obstacle course as he watched ladybird flip and flop all over the obstacles. He lost count at her third try at the first stage -- after that he was just laughing too hard to keep watching. After she finally completed the first stage, Herryk limped over and caught his breath, clutching his side.

"Ahhh," he exhaled loudly, rubbing a palm over his face.

Game face: activate.

With a few minor slip-ups, Herryk dominated the obstacles. Sure, he almost tripped on a few of them, but overall he did pretty well. Most importantly, he did it on the first try. He really, really hoped ladybossybird was watching.

STAGE 2 START!

There was no doubt that he was feeling cocky as he made his way through the second stage. The second and last obstacles gave him the most trouble, but other than that it was smooth, smooth sailing. Nailing it on the first try only fed his ego, and he couldn't wait to get out of the run and rub it in Freya's face.

This would be the sweetest victory of all as long as he won the third trial. Things were looking good so far, and Herryk was surfing on a wave of egotistical male pride.

Herryk finished the second stage before the timer was even close to running out, and he took a moment to look over at the concession stand to see if he could catch sight of Freya. He really, really wanted to strike a pose, just to put salt in the wound.

STAGE 3 BEGIN!

If the previous stages had gone off with relatively few faults, the final stage of the obstacle course went off without a hitch.

Rumbling dice: dominated.

Devil steps: owned.

Jumping bars: easier than eating a spookie.

Arm bike: bam.

Cliff hanger: hahahaha.

Gliding ring: easier than the easiest thing ever.

As he landed on the final platform Herryk couldn't help but fistpump. Had anyone done the obstacle course as flawlessly as he had? Herryk doubted it. With a spring in his step and the cockiest grin ever planted on his face, Herryk easily jogged back to the concessions stand.

STAGE 1 GO!

Mitsu couldn't believe she was going to push herself to try again but she was going to do it! She was at least going to beat the first stage. Too bad her feet didn't think the same thing. The signal had been given and Mitsu hit the first Sextuple Step and found that it was slippery from water. Instantly her feet came out from under herself and she nearly hit the water. Begrudgingly she moved to try again.

STAGE 1 GO!
Attempt # 2

Her start wasn't as rocky this time and Mitsu made her way through the course once again. Carefully she made her way through the obstacles but in the end came to the wall. She stared at it like an old foe. Still...it was so high.

With hesitation she tried again. This is where she had failed the last time. And as destiny would have it this was where she was doomed to fail again.

STAGE 1 GO!

It was hard to say what pushed the lycan forward. Fear to fail, shear force of will, blind determination, or just plain tears (probably mostly tears) but someone she made it to the end. That's right she finally bested the wall on her third try and it was with shaky knees that she made her way to the platform at the end of the course and hit the buzzer to signal she had made it with only a little time left to spare.

The feeling she had at the moment was rather satisfying. She had made it! It wasn't until she looked over and saw that it wasn't over that her face fell. T...there was more? Slowly she made her way to the edge of the platform and made the mistake of looking down. Oh Jack....how was she supposed to get to the other course?

STAGE 2 START!

It took a bit of time but Mitsu finally made it to the start of the second course. This one looked far more complicated than the one before it. At least she had more time to complete it.

When the signal was sounded Mitsu began grabbing the chain to the zip line. It wasn't until she started that she realized how high she was and began to scream the entire way somehow grabbing the second chain just in time before flailing her way to a stop at the platform at the end. It took her a moment to pry her fingers free, wobbly legs taking her to the second obstacle.

The second one consisted of a lot of upper body strength and Mitsu was glad she had started to work out. Otherwise pulling herself up wouldn't have been possible. Thankfully she passed it without too much trouble and made her way forward to the slider drop and using her pole from the last challenge she slide down and landed neatly on the mat. This wasn't going so bad at all.

The next few obstacles proved to be a challenge but somehow Mitsu made it passed them and in the end hit the buzzer to signal she had made it. There wasn't much time to spar from her struggling here and there but she had indeed made it. And she was a little sore to boot. And least it was over, right?.....Right?

Mitsu looked over and saw that the course continued. OAO; Reluctantly she moved on to stage 3.

STAGE 3 BEGIN!

Okay this was it! Or was it? Mitsu looked around to make sure. Yes, this was in fact it. The last course. No more let down if she made it through this time. She had made it this far so she was determined to complete it. Wouldn't Shun be so proud?

A little tired from the last course Mitsu was glad there wasn't really a time limit. It would probably take her a while to complete this round. It looked rather difficult. When the signal was sounded that she needed to begin the lycan made her way onto the course feeling good about her chances. She had made it this far after all.

The course went rather smoothly for the most part. She only struggled here and there mostly taking her time. It was when she made it to the cliff hanger that she realized how tired she really was. Mitsu wasn't about to give up but it seemed her body was ready too. She only made it so far before the grip on her fingers let up and she fell once again landing in the water at the bottom of the course.

STAGE 1 GO!

Shun was determined to improve his score, despite having defeated the course once before. He knew what to expect, but he felt that he couldn't lower his guard. Taking in a deep breath, he ran through with a fair amount of ease. It didn't take him too long to get through the course and he got in before time was up.

STAGE 2 START!

The second stage had provided him trouble before. Shun had a bit of a rocky start with the chain reaction and salmon ladder, but he managed to pick up a bit of his momentum. However, at some point in time, he ended up slowing down too much. By the time it came to the wall lift, he struggled to get past and was unable to hit the buzzer before his time was up.

"Kuso..." he cursed lowly before making his way back to the starting line.

STAGE 1 GO!

After taking a short break before his next run, Shun lightly stretched out before waiting for his signal. Narrowing his eyes, he bolted off once he was able to go. Everything went relatively smooth up until the tarzan swing. The Reaper nearly slipped into the water below, but he managed to save himself. As a result, he passed the first stage.

STAGE 2 START!

It was time to hit stage two once more. Shun let out a breath before pushing his way through the obstacles, not struggling too much with any one thing.. until again at the end. Gritting his teeth, he lifted the three walls to get on by. He almost didn't make the time cut, but he just barely managed to hit the button before the timer ran out.

Doubling over for the moment, he shook his head to himself before making his way to the third stage.

STAGE 3 BEGIN!

Stretching his arms out, Shun stared down the third course. Since he wasn't timed, he paced himself so as to not fatigue himself before he was through with this run. He was growing weary though, and it showed when he reached the arm bike. The Reaper struggled to get through, and once he reached the cliff hanger starting point, he had to take a moment's rest to relax his muscles.

It seemed that was enough for him, for he managed to pass the rest of the course without too much of a problem.

Checking his score, he noticed that he did increase it.. .by four.

Well, his goal was accomplished at the very least.

STAGE 1 GO! (Attempt 1)

It was a brand new day.

Dedicated to her commitment to conquer this Terror Warrior challenge, Hel was back for the fourth day in a row. Today seemed like a good day! She made it through Stage One without any problems, and that was always a good thing.
