Nechax followed Jaxine's lead, leaving the other two Nobodies behind. He was surprised that Zexion hadn't thought of doing this. The place was huge.

Xemnas sighed. Perhaps he should have gave his choices a second thought. Vexen already made his apprentice a guinea pig. That pair would no longer do.
Rising from his desk, Xemnas opened a portal and went to the lab. It was as Zexion had said.
“I'm Vexen, your teacher.” He said crisply while still cleaning. When Xemnas entered, Vexen's demeanor changed entirely to nervous despair. “Superior! It is not how Zexion explained it. Lars can move things telekinetically, and so I thought it would be best, as a scientist, to examine his abilities more closely.”
Looking around the lab again, Xemnas frowned. “That is still against the rules I have stated for the apprenticeship. In fact, I had made that rule especially for you, knowing that you would go ahead and do something such as this.”
He looked over at Lars, assuming the apprentice had something to say.

“Absolutely nothing.” Axel said from the corner of his mouth, and it came out garbled and hard to really understand. He carried Myrthe off into the grass. Eventually she'd get annoyed. It would be funny to him.

Xathere ran, although not necessarily for some cover. She stopped for a moment to look at the jewel in the Heartless' chest. On instinct, Xathere threw both fans at the piece. Then an energy ball landed near her feet, knocking her over with the explosion.

Shaxirma had no destination in mind. Though perhaps finding the library would be useful. She noticed another girl coming her way. An apprentice. Shaxirma hadn't spoken much to the other apprentices. She had been with Marluxia until now.

Jaxine continued walking through the corridors. "There are more corridors in here than actual places..." She told Nechax, not sure herself why it was this way. It didn't make a lot of sense... at least they had enough space.

Zexion followed back to the lab. He was curious as to what would happen next, and would be there if the Superior needed any help with anything. Once there, he kept quiet and simply watched the scene.
Lars saw more people entering through some kind of portals, just after the man named Vexen answered his question. "...Teacher? Apprentice? ...Telekinesis... portals... what is going on here?!" He asked a bit panicked. For as far as he knew, all of this wasn't possible.

"Then... why are you carrying me like this? I can walk!" Myrthe replied a bit annoyed, but still as a joke. What did that guy think he was doing! Well, she loved some randomness.

Larxene dodged the many energy balls and waited for another opening to strike. Meanwhile, she shot some more lightning bolts at the Heartless. This bird just didn't die, did it?!

Allayx stopped for a moment to greet the other girl. It seemed an apprentice as well. "Hello there."
She then realized she never put her hood back on, making all of her emotions, if any, quite visible. That could prove to be a problem. As soon as the other girl had passed, she'd put it back on.

“So we'll get lost often.” Nechax guessed. He couldn't be the only one with a lack of internal sense of direction!

Xemnas resolved this quickly. “Zexion, take Lars to Lexaeus. He doesn't have enough to do to keep from causing problems.” Not quite, but it'd keep everyone even more separated than they already were. “Vexen and I will have a talk in the meantime.”
Vexen did not look forward to that.

“Because.” Axel started swinging her around a bit more. This was fun! Now for a pool of water. After all, cats don't like water.

The fans nearly smacked into Xathere's face when they returned. She grabbed them, standing up from the blast. The Heartless was still going. Xathere threw her fans at the jewel again. It had to work this time!

Shaxirma also halted in her steps. She nodded as she replied back. “Hi.”
It wouldn't be bad to make an accomplice out of this girl. She seemed to be alright. Perhaps useful later.

"Only if you don't pay attention." Jaxine said, knowing she didn't get lost anymore. Then again, she was a quick learner, even with mentally mapping a place. It didn't take her that long to get to know this place.

Zexion nodded at Xemnas. "Of course, Superior." He went over to the table and carefully released Lars. "Can you walk?"
The boy tried to sit up but felt too weak to do so. He shoke his head in shame, having to be lift up by Zexion (who had some trouble doing it as th boy was heavy), and carried through a portal towards the library. The Cloaked Schemer hoped to find Lexaeus there.

Myrthe was being swung around a bit, causing a laugh to leave her mouth. "Axel, watch out, will ya!"

Larxene kept firing at the thing, wanting this to be over with! Eventually, finally, the thing seemed to be destroyed and fell into the water, slowly disappearing into Darkness.
The Savage Nymph made her weapons disappear. "It's about time that thing died!"

Allayx was a bit uncomfortable, yet didn't show it. Although it was a good thing this person seemed to be serious, she also seemed very withdrawn, just like herself.
"May I ask who your teacher is? Out of curiosity." She asked in her strong but calm voice. A conversation had to start somewhere!

Nechax looked around as they walked. Everything looked the same. It was a reoccurring theme.
“How's training with Xemnas?” He asked. They had to have conversation of some sort.

Lexaeus was in the library, but for reasons no one was sure of. He was reorganizing the bookshelves, since some members did not know the order of things. Or they didn’t care and expected Zexion to take care of the mess. Other members were seldom seen in the library, after all. It was always quiet, which Lexaeus preferred that.
He turned to look when a portal appeared. Zexion and a battered apprentice came through.

“Ah relax!” Axel finally found what he was looking for. Swinging Myrthe around a few more times, he threw her through the grass and into the clear water. He laughed.

Xathere examined her fans once the Heartless was gone. This wasn't her first time seeing them, but she finally took a close look at them. She made them disappear after a moment.
“What do we do now?” She asked innocently. The Heartless was gone. Was that it, or did they do a little more on missions?

“Marluxia.” Shaxirma answered. “Who's yours?”
Both of them seemed to have the same sort of personality. They weren't usually bothered with people, unless the people were important to them. Shaxirma wondered how useful this one was.

"Pretty well." Jaxine thought about it. Really, it was going pretty well. She had already learned a lot. Although the pet issue was a different story...
"And... how's it going with Ienzo? I mean, Zexion. Sorry." She quickly corrects herself. Ienzo was his Somebody. The Nobody is called Zexion.

Zexion closed the portal behind them, placing the exhausted Lars on the couch. He then faced number V. "The Superior wanted me to bring him to you. Vexen carried out brain surgery on the boy and is no longer his teacher."

Myrthe was launched into the water, being a bit shocked at first. As soon as she got stopped struggling at the sudden change of feeling, she laughed as well, glaring playfully at Axel. "Now you have to come in too!" She did a few steps back. "I won't come out of here until you do!"

Larxene waited impatiently as Xathere examined her weapons. "You done or what?" She asked angrily.
"What do you think we'll do?Chitchat and be good friends? I don't think so." The Savage Nymph made a portal back to the castle. She couldn't wait to dump the girl! It really was an annoying brat.

"Saïx." Allayx simply answered. There wasn't a lot more to be said, now was there?
Thinking back about the talk she had with him the day before with dinner, she realized she was supposed to stay away from Marluxia. So probably from the apprentice as well. That was unfortunate, this girl didn't look that bad.

“Fine.” Nechax shrugged. “Who's Ienzo?”
He hadn't seen him around the castle before. Then again, Nechax wasn't good connecting names and faces.

Zexion didn't need to say the rest of that. Lexaeus remembered Lars from the night before in the hallway. He had heard some things that he didn't need to know. Although he would rather not deal with it, it seemed that this was Superior's orders. They couldn't be argued.
“Alright.” Lexaeus sighed. He did not look forward to this.

“Yeah. Don't think so.” Axel settled down near the edge. He was fire! Water was out of the question. Now speaking of those cat naps lions take....

Xathere went through the portal without further hesitation. Now she could get away from Larxene and find Lars! That was what she hoped anyway.
Xigbar and Hataxn were waiting in the Grey Area for something. Xathere nodded to both of them.

“Which one is he?” Shaxirma hadn't been introduced to everyone. Marluxia seemed to prefer to keep himself and his apprentice away from them. At least for awhile.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 21, 2012 11:54 am

"The human he was before." Jaxine made it simple. She just wasn't sure if Zexion would be fine with her telling that information. Then again, no one seemed to care about their life before this one.

Zexion nodded, took a book he wished to read and left Lars and Lexaeus. He was no longer needed right now.

Lars looked up from his place on the couch at Lexaeus. "Who are you?" He asked, hoping to finally get some answers. "Could you explain to me what happened?"

Myrthe used her paws to throw some water at Axel, hoping to get him a bit annoyed. If not, she had to come with another strategy. The guy looked like he had a lot of patience... but so did she, if she wanted!

Larxene came in the Grey Area, looking at both Hataxn and Xathere. "Aww, brother and sister reunited! How cute." She made it sound like something really childish, turning to Xigbar. "I hope the boy was better at fighting than she was!"
"He wasn't all that bad." Xigbar smirked. Even though Larxene was mean, when it wasn't against him, the woman could be fun to talk with. Or gossip, whatever you want to call it.

"The male with blue hair and a scar on his face." That should be enough information. Saïx was easily recognizable. All of them were, with their haircuts, colors and personalities.

“Oh.” Nechax couldn't believe his teacher had a life before this. Well, he must have. It just wasn't something he thought about. “So you've known them for a long time?”
Longer than any other apprentice.

So that's what happened in Vexen's experiment. Lars' memory was a blank slate.
“Lexaeus.” He stopped sorting books to get closer to Lars. He took a seat in a nearby armchair. Whether he liked it or not, Lexaeus was going to have to be a mentor. No one else had explained the past two days to Lars, either. “Your previous teacher, Vexen, decided to experiment on you.”
They all saw it coming.

Axel opened his eyes as water was splashed into his face. He playfully glared at Myrthe.
“Aren't you gonna give up yet?” He teased. He could go at this all day!

The siblings just gave Larxene blank looks. This was going to pass slowly....
Though they did stick close to one another. Xathere realized she still had a cut on her arm. It needed to get cleaned out and covered. But she didn't say anything. Larxene probably would do worse.
Hataxn noticed it, raising his eyebrows. Xathere just shook her head up at him. It was no big deal to her.

Shaxirma nodded. That one. He was one of the more serious members. Possibly hard to train with. Marluxia seemed easy enough.
“He looks strict.” Shaxirma commented.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 21, 2012 12:33 pm

"Yes." Jaxine's voice was as strong as she could get it, although it made her ''sad'' to think back about those memories. Everything was easy back then. No problems, no fighting, just living in happiness. And trying to convince her dad she could help them with their experiments, which she never really succeed in.
"Only the first eight members though. I haven't met the others yet."

Lars held his head again, the headache only getting worse. He randomly noted the fact he was bald.... Wait, bald?! But he didn't want to lose his hair! It took him so long to let it grow!
The sudden sadness was visible on his face, although he simply continued to ask questions. "How... did I even get here? Where are my parents? My friends?" He needed to know all that. "Why am I not at home?"

"Never!" A smirk formed on the cheetah's face. "I never give up!" So he had to come in, right? He couldn't just leave her behind!
Myrthe lowered in the water, lying down herself but keeping her head above the surface. She had to breath, right!

Larxene smirked, "Perhaps you should teach my apprentice some combat then, Xigbar! Feel free to punish her. It's not the smartest girl around here!" Of course it wasn't. Larxene was! At least, she used to believe so.
"Only if you teach my boy something in return!" Xigbar smirked as he placed himself on one of the couches. Handing the boy over to Larxene would be torture for him... but fun for the Freeshooter.

"Are you telling me Marluxia isn't?" Of course, she didn't know exactly who he was. It just seemed logical with such an apprentice.
This made her think, though. Saïx had been strict, but he had never really shown disappointment or anything alike.

“Oh.” Nechax said. The Organization had started out with eight people in it. So then five others joined to make thirteen. But there were only twelve members he could count.

“Everyone is gone.” Lexaeus stated coldly. Lars would have to go through this all over again, and he was stuck watching him while it happened. Great. “Your home is gone as well. You're in the Castle That Never was. I'm guessing you don't realize that you're a Nobody, too.”
Now Lars did. At least he had his Somebody memories.

“Xigbar's probably reaping in the rewards.” Axel rolled over to his other side, to get some sun rays there. Myrthe would want some of that.

Plans were being made, that neither sibling anticipated. Xathere noticed she was being referred to as 'it' by Larxene. Even more degradation. Xigbar looked rough, like the pirates she had just gotten away from.
Hataxn hoped that the idea would just be dropped. They already had done their missions. Surely their teachers wanted to get away from them as much as they wanted to leave.

“Not when you know the basics.” Shaxirma stated. She wondered if things would be the same, had she known nothing.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 21, 2012 1:31 pm

"Yes, well... I prefer to not talk about it. Xemnas wants me to leave the past behind." At least, she thought so. He never mentioned it. Perhaps she should bring it up one day... only if it was really necessary.

Lars stared at the man for a while. Gone? How was it then that he wasn't gone yet? Perhaps the fact he was a Nobody could explain that... whatever a Nobody was.
"A Nobody?" He asked with a sad tone.

"I rather win from you than from him." Myrthe giggled at the idea. Hey, winning from Xigbar was fun... winning from her teacher was even better! Although the water was a tad bit cold.

"Ohh, why not?!" Larxene pushed Xathere towards Xigbar. "Here, take good care of her! Or don't, it actually doesn't matter to me."
Xigbar grinned. This was one of the best days he had in a while. Toying with new members was fun.

"Logical." Allayx nodded at her. Teachers wouldn't have to learn them as much when you already knew the basics. Perhaps that's why Saïx had never been disappointed in her?

“Okay.” Nechax said. He wondered what the past was, that they had to leave it behind. “Can you tell me how the Organization got together?”
It had to start somewhere.

“Nobodies do not have Hearts, therefore we cannot feel emotions.” Lars was trying to comprehend this. It was written on his face. So far he was taking it well. Better than Demyx, who spent awhile convinced that they did too have emotions of some sort. Actually, he had yet to stop believing that.
“When it first happened, eight of us created Organization XIII. There are twelve members. You are one of the eight apprentices.” Lexaeus explained before Lars could ask that question. It would come up eventually.

“Good luck with that!” Axel snorted. Again he tried the nap thing. Hey, he had a better chance of winning if he was sleeping!

Xathere was shoved closer to Xigbar. This was going to be bad.... She should have ran off to find Lars once they got back. But then she really would have been a coward.
The plan was inevitable. Larxene couldn't be that bad.... At least nothing Hataxn couldn't handle.

Shaxirma nodded. “Where are you going?”
She had no place to be, and maybe some company wouldn't be so bad.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 22, 2012 4:08 am

"The first six founded it." Jaxine explained shortly. It was what Xemnas had told her before. "Although Seven and Eight joined quickly after."
They reached one of their first destinations, the Hall of Empty Melodies. They stood on one of the balcony's and Jaxine leaned on the rail (if that's the word for it) to glance around the place.

"Ah..." So that's why he didn't feel all that sad about everything. It was just surprising.
"Then what is our goal?" He wondered out loud, wanting to know what exactly he was here for.

"I once waited a week in the same spot to win a bet. Just so you know." Myrthe told him with a grin, closing her own eyes to rest a bit. He had to give up eventually.

Larxene grabbed Hataxn and began to drag him out of the room. "You get until midnight to teach her something useful!" She yelled as she thought about what she could teach Xigbar's apprentice.
Xigbar smirked down at Xathere.

"Nowhere, really." Allayx answered honestly. "I was about to recon the castle." What else could she do, right? It wasn't like this place was built to have fun.

Nechax pondered that. So they took in all Nobodies, not a select few. It was like a support group.
“We're all going to get hearts again, right?” He knew their missions were part of that goal.

“To complete Kingdom Hearts.” Lexaeus said. Lars was picking up on this quickly. Good. “With that, we will have Hearts again.”
They needed a Keyblade for that, which he heard only one apprentice had one.

“Ha! I can wait longer!” Axel stretched out his limbs. Nothing like being lazy. He was pretty sure Myrthe was lying. She couldn't sit still for a week!

Larxene was stronger than Hataxn expected. She already had an idea of what she was going to do.

Xathere shrunk back under Xigbar's gaze. Midnight was a long time from then. Xigbar would probably destroy her by then.

“That's a good idea.” Shaxirma pondered. She didn't know her way around here, except to her room, the kitchen, Marluxia's garden, and the Grey Area. Not to mention the Round Room, but the only access point to there was through a portal.
