She was weaker now .....and this battle was taking too long. Her move had her panting and she had failed as she felt the thump of his tail and lost her footing for a moment to land on her side in agonizing pain. She didn't even try to get up as she simply lay there panting ...she was too tired to even get back up.
Two pokemon, she was fighting off two pokemon and then ...the trainer does that. It was beyond her ability to keep struggling as she thought of the battle as endless as her rage patters down to despair.
It was why she hated trainers, but she had given it her best ...as she forced her shield up in front of herself as she lay on the ground. Her ability sparking to life even as she knew things were reaching it's end ...she still had no plans of surrendering .....and if she got back to her hooves she would make that pokemon pay ...if she could get back to her hooves.

(17 - 5) + (17 - 13) = 16 DMG
Girafarig HP: -8In one fell, bloody swoop it would end. Despair gripping her heart, the psychic shield would shatter like glass beneath Genn's assault, his hardened body smashing into the Girafarig and plowing her into the ground. Bones would crunch and snap beneath his weight as organs began to rupture.
Genn would lift his head high, revealing a the broken body of the Psychic-Type beneath him. Mouth skyward, the Steelix would bellow in victory. They had won. The Girafarig was dead...but she would not go to waste.
Drawing his sword, it would be mere moments before Raven had dropped into the small crater containing the Girafarig's body. He didn't believe in wasting the remains of the dead. The best way to honor the fallen was to make certain their death was not in vain.
In this particular case it would involve something others might view as horrific. Handling his weapon carefully, the boy would slowly begin to remove the pelt of the Girafarig. Skinning her to make use of the fur. His movements almost artistic in nature, he would cut the pelt of the Psychic-Type off in one single piece, avoiding the neck and most of the leg beneath the thigh. Both spots wouldn't have enough fur to be of use anyway. Once that task was complete he would remove the hooves. He wasn't certain as to how he could use them; but he'd find a use of some sort...
After that task was complete he would study the corpse. Being careful of extra muscle, and avoiding those places punctured by bone, the boy would slowly begin to carve up the Girafarig, harvesting what meat he felt would be useful. The rest would be left for the wild Pokemon to feast upon.
Once the scavenging was complete, the boy would place the pelt, hooves, and meat of the Pokemon off to the side, resting atop his cloak to keep is relatively clean. Then he would go about his more grisly task. As he had planned from the beginning, he would place the Seviper upon the ground, body straightened out; and with one thrust of his blade, he would decapitate the Poison-Type. His blade was not made for a traditional thrust...not like a rapier or lance...but rather what one would call an executioners strike; perfect for severing the head or some other limb.
Once the Seviper was dead, the boy would recall Genn and release Crowe, directing the Skarmory in skinning the Seviper. Skinning scale would be a much more delicate task then removing the Girafarig's pelt; something the Skarmory's blade beak would be perfect for. Once the skin was removed the boy would again harvest the meat, removing any he suspected to be laced with poison or otherwise placed too close to the poison glands to be certain.
Once that was completed he would rip the two primary fangs from the head, gather his odd collection together...the meat in his cloak, and the rest held in either his hands or upon his belt...recall Crowe, and be on his way with the wood. It was a lot to carry; but he would manage for the time being...[EXITING TO POKEMART!]

A rather odd sight they'd see, as Jade would feel a rather heavy object fall on his head, the thing giving a rather loud "BONK" noise as it fell to the ground. It'd be hard to see at first, but after awhile the object would wiggle and push itself out of the ground, revealing itself to be a togepi.
He was slightly larger than average for his species, though that wasn't exactly a tremendous feat given how small togepi were anyways. He had a bold look on his face, and he'd look over the group before locking eyes with the zangoose in it.
"> EGG EATER! <"
The togepi would dart forwards, stopping at a respectable distance. He'd stick his tongue out, pull on his eyelid, then turn around and wiggle hut butt at the Zangoose before turning back to face him. "> I DARE YOU! COME AT ME, EGG EATER! <" He'd put one stubby little arm up, wiggling it. "> sixty two, that's my streak! Sixty-two times I've come up to one of you eggs eaters and sixty-two times I've won! You can't touch me! <"
Either this togepi was a risk taker or it simply had a death wish.

The boy wasn't paying attention at all and then he was hit by something from the air. Jade winced as he felt it clash against his skull with a loud BONK and watched as the object fell to the ground. Rubbing the sore spot on his head, he glanced down to see it looked like...an egg? He stared at it for a couple seconds before low and behold a pokemon popped out. It was a Togepi! He couldn't understand what the creature was saying but it seemed intent on talking to Kyo his Zangoose. Realizing he could do nothing but stand there and watch, he just stared. The Zangoose watched the whole incident without comment. That was until the pokemon specifically seemed to address him. Egg eater? Scoffing, he just shrugged. No battle with this creature would be good. The pokemon didn't want to kill him and he figured that's exactly would happen. The Togepi could shout until his white face turned red but the warrior Zangoose would still refuse to fight him. Instead he just stood there, claws sheathed and blatently ignored the little pokemon. He wasn't going to kill anything today, he wasn't a murderer.Nyx grinned at the conversation that the two held. Well actually the Togepi basically ranted and Kyo just ignored him. Interesting. The dark pokemon stepped in front of the Zangoose effectively blocking him. The cunning trickster turned instead to face the Togepi head on. ">How about you battle me? If you can defeat me, then my friend here will accept your challenge.<" A cat like grin spread across his face, full of mischief and curiosity. "> PASS! <"
The togepi didn't even think twice. No, his battle was with the egg eaters! The umbreon would not count towards his streak, it was a waste of time. The little normal type would stick his tongue out before jumping up into the air, his stubby arms and legs going into his egg shell and his head bobbing in and being covered. When he landed he'd immediately begin to roll, and he'd continue rolling until he was well out of range. Ain't nobody stopping him! [[ if you wanna chase him, specify you are. If you don't, then specify you're not - either way, roll 1d20 ]]

Ignoring the smug look on the Zangoose's face after being rejected by the Togepi, the dark pokemon felt a flash of anger fill his mind. What was with the kid? Did he not think he was a good enough opponent? Irritated, the Umbreon charged towards the rolling egg, aiming to Tackle the other pokemon and start the battle anyway. The kid was bragging one second but then couldn't be bothered the next? All bark but no bite. Sheesh. Kyo stood there watching the pair for a couple seconds. They probably weren't going to go far...so why should he interfere? Then again, the Umbreon could be kind of strange at times. Just great. The red and white pokemon darted after the retreating pair. The trickster was a fast pokemon, no way was the Togepi going to be able to get away...Nyx the Umbreon, Lvl 4 [M] Temperament: Naughty HP: 22, PP: 21, ATK: 12, DEF: 15, SPD: 11, SP.ATK: 11, SP. [[ I THOUGHT I POSTED THIS OMFG ]]
"> Always beatin' egg eaters, never once thought about going after an EGG BEATER! <" The togepi would suddenly turn as he said that, his head coming out of his shell as he held his stubby little arms out, going on the defensive. "> Strike me, sir, strike me! Gimmie all you got, blackie! <" he'd taunt, eyes narrowed to a fine point as he stared the umbreon down. The Umbreon grinned. Cocky little fellow. The dark pokemon glanced at the egg pokemon, wondering which way to charge. Anything too obvious would be careless but the Togepi didn't look too sturdy either. Shaking his head once, he darted forward ready to slam into the brave but foolish pokemon with Tackle! Kyo stood watching on his hind legs. Arms were crossed as the Zangoose stood ready to reinforce the dark pokemon. This battle should be easy, his opponent was weak. Shrugging the thought off, he watched. The egg was really a foolish creature. Bravery was one thing, recklessness was borderline insane.Nyx the Umbreon, Lvl 4 [M] Temperament: Naughty HP: 22, PP: 21, ATK: 12, DEF: 15, SPD: 11, SP.ATK: 11, SP. Togepi HP: 7
The Togepi would give a loud grunt as he flew back, holding in the girly squeal and instead choosing to hold his little hands onto the center of his body.
The shell was cracked.
No doubt he was bleeding underneath, if a hit could crack a togepi's shell than it was sure to be quite the doozy. Doozy, doozy..."> Hah....Right back at ya, Jim! <" he'd sluprt out, breathing heavily as he stood up and drew a little arm back.
green light would wrap around it, forming little needle like pillars all over his arm. "> THIS....IS MY SPECIAL MOVE, MY SECRET POWER! <" the togepi would declare as he ran forwards, lunging at Nyx with all his little might. A grin lit up the Umbreon's face as he landed a direct hit into the small egg pokemon. Too easy. This battle was far too easy for him. It was a little boring, actually. Instead he watched as the creature floppy hands began to glow a greenish color. Instead the Umbreon waited. Waiting...waiting...waiting. Until the very last second when he decided to leap over the small egg and avoid the oncoming attack! Kyo watched the battle, scowling. It wasn't good to underestimate the pokemon, just because it seemed weak. Nyx was taking this far too lightly. The Togepi could have an ace card hidden under his sleeve. Flexing his claws, the Zangoose's tail lashed from side to side. The battle should be over soon enough...Nyx the Umbreon, Lvl 4 [M] Temperament: Naughty HP: 22, PP: 21, ATK: 12, DEF: 15, SPD: 11, SP.ATK: 11, SP. The togepi would be quite confused at the act, having not dealt with any umbreon prior to this he didn't quite know how flexible they were (he also didn't realize how small he himself was). The small egg pokemon would huff, the green energy around his stubby arm fading away as he'd turn around to the umbreon, straight faced and pointing at the crack in his chest.
"> Hit me with your best shot <"
There was a mix of courage and stupidity in his eyes, and the little egg was ready for anything that the umbreon had!
