"Oh this will be fun." Atticus muttered as he recalled what happened in the Arctic, with Shira having to cauterize his wound. Feeling the intense heat coming off from her hand, it took Atticus everything he had in order to not scream out in pain. He could feel the wound closing, "D-Don't use too much energy." he told her as he gripped her hand harder, "Don't focus on me, just worry about the mission now. My demon blood should be able to heal the rest."

Hearing the Captain, Atticus would immediately take Shira's hand off of his body and hold her close. He then grabbed on to one of the rails and held tight, using all the strength he had in order to keep the both of them there. "Thanks for the fix up" he said as he would do all he could to hold on to Shira. "Make sure not to let go, all right? i wouldn't want to have to go to drastic measures to save you again." Atticus told her as he was referring to using Sanctum's power in order to aid her.

With everyone hanging on, the world seemed to spin as the ship barrel rolled. "OH SHIIIIII-" yelled Cathy as they spun, the rest of her statement lost in the thunder. Even after it moved right-side up again the ship continued to roll, spinning around a second time as rats tumbled off the ship left and right. The ship righted itself and spun a third time, swinging everyone around like flags in the breeze as they held on. Finally the ship stopped spinning. When it was upside down. The Captain cursed bitterly as they hung over the seemingly bottomless sky. She clung on tightly with both hands, clearly struggling to hang on as her heavy armor and weaponry weighed her down. Cathy held on with one hand, though she seemed to be having a much easier time of things with her lighter gear and lighter weight.

Even though they were upside down the rain continued to beat against them, the wind so strong it literally blew the rain around the deck and into them. Cathy grimaced as they twisted in the breeze. "Well...um...one more pass and we're out. Right into the Steelforge fleet...." she said. She began to laugh at the absurdity of the situation. "Maybe they'll be so confused they'll forget to open fire?" The Captain seemed to be thinking desperately about how in the world they could survive one more attack from the beast with their ship upside down as she struggled to hang on.

Cathy looked over and noticed the Captain struggling. "Captain! Don't let go!!" She yelled. "Thanks for the advice Cathy..." Captain Rachel replied in an annoyed tone. The shark had disappeared into the clouds below them, meaning it would probably come up from below them, leaving them widely exposed. None of the cannons were in a position to shoot straight downwards and Captain Rachel was forced to hold on with both hands, unable to shoot at it herself. Most of the armed rats had fallen off the ship and the rest were too busy clinging on tightly to shoot at anything. Cathy still held her pistol in her free hand, looking downwards, a grim expression on her face.

Max used his resonance force to keep the swords wedged into the deck whenever Lucien planted them, only letting go with one when Lucien moved it. I'm going to be sick... Max said as they moved across the deck. Dogs aren't meant to fly or be upside-down... He watched Atticus fall in amazement. He must be insane! Max thought to Lucien, wondering if Atticus was going to do what he thought he was going to do.

Niko and Iko were holding tightly to the edge of the ships side watching the others and seeing Atticus falling to the shark "Ive seen a lot of crazy things but that is by far the strangest, what is he doing!!?" Iko looked around for something, something she could better hold on to, she saw the cargo hold was still open and lifted her little feet to the curved in part of the side told her sister "NIko, Im gonna swing onto your legs and i need your help to swing me into the cargo hold!" With out question Niko swung her legs towards her sister and Iko held to her ankles, swinging like acrobats on a trapeze until Iko let go and took a firm hold of the opening that lead to the hold, Niko following once Iko was ready to catch her and lift her into the hold. They were safe, for now. NIko called to everyone still holding to the boat "Hey is everyone alright?"

"We're on it!" With a salute to Cathy Niko lowered Iko down while holding to the opening with just her legs allowing them both to find a route to the engines "Niko we have to get to the mast, once there we can use the ropes to get to the engine!" Once again the girls were swinging Iko swung hard enough to reach the deck and kick off, Niko released the cargo entrance and switched from holding Ikos wrists to Iko holding her ankles allowing Niko to grab hold of the long outward mast. She helped her sister up and they climbed along it. Once finding a suitable rope the twins began to climb using both hands and legs to get to the engine.The smoke was thick and choking, they climbed the fin of the ship close to the heated engines. Knowing what they had to do Iko transformed into a double sided sword "SOUL RESONANCE! GOLDEN SPIRAL!" With each sister resonating Niko spun her sister blade who began to glow. She spun faster and faster creating a vacuuming spiral clearing the smoke, after which Niko spun her sister in the opposite direction sending fast and cool wind to the engines which began to steam instead of smoke. Determined to follow order each twin used all their resonance to spin faster and faster, hoping to cool the engines in lesser time.
