"Mmm, yes, pleasure." He replied, reveling in the subtle innuendos, until the other approached them fully and he was forced to then divide his attention between two ladies instead of just one.
"Gywn, how lovely. I'm Finn." He gave her the same little smirk he had been using for Hel, but let it drop when she mentioned that her mount had run off, giving her a slightly more horrified expression, shaking his head a little sadly. "That is simply awful. Perhaps we could double up..." He looked back towards his camel, then shook his head more. "Or I suppose not. Well, if you find you need help along the way, just let me know." His smirky smile returned.
"I would be only too happy to help."

Alighting upon a small campsite, Liselotte considered her options. She still felt good to go, and Nana didn't seem to be in bad spirits; but it would probably be a good idea to get rest while they could. There was a long trip ahead of them. Liselotte hopped off of her alpaca and led her by the reins towards one of the trees. "Stay here, okay, Nana? I'm gonna get us some more food!"

"Oh! I didn't expect to see anyone else here." He said, looking towards the small group that had gathered. "I'm Mei."
She hesitated a moment, before speaking again.
"You guys might want to be careful along the way. I encountered some bandits along the way. If you need help, call and I'll help out however I can, okay?"

After raising an eyebrow at the boil's comment about doubling up, since she had seen his camel, she simled and said "Thank ye, Ah'd be happy tae help ye tae." Gwyn replied. "Ah need tae be setting oot soon, if Ah'm tae make it tae ma destination on foot." Gwyn said in parting. Hearing the newcomer as she was about to leave, Gwyn replied, "Yeah, they bandits got me tae. If ye need help, ye can call me tae." and then left the group.
As she was leaving, Gwyn passed another ghoul on a mount that looked like hers, only with more fur. Waving to the ghoul, Gwyn yelled over to her "Call me if ye need help with yer mount!" Gwyn then left the pitstop to continue her journey.

She wasn't just a little worried about the woman, now she was a lot worried, but she knew it wasn't really the right time to be, even if she was getting a hug. Lightly patting the woman's back a bit, she relished in the affection that she was given by the much taller woman.
Awarding her the same smile, though, as they pulled back, Lifen gave her a little curt nod at her statement if needing to move, grabbing her hand and squeezing it a little. "You be careful, okay? If you need me, let me know, and I'll swoop in and help you, promise." Turning to the new woman who came in, she gave her a look.
"Bandits are not good, either. I'm always around, like I said."

Finn really needed to get going as well, as there was still quite a ways to go, but before he could go, he raised a hand in greeting to the newcomer. "Hey." He gave her a nod. "I'm Finn." All of these introductions! However much he would have loved to stay and chat with all of the ladies though, he knew that at some point he needed to get this task done and out of the way.
Maybe once he got through it, he could come back and spend some more time with Hel. Hmmmmmm....
"Right well I best be on my way then! Mei, if you need any help along the way, just give me a shout, and I will do what I can to assist. And thanks for the advice about the bandits." He flashed her a grin, as well as Hel and Gwyn, before turning to go.
And as he passed yet another lady on his way to his camel.
"You too, there. Keep an eye out, and call if you need anything." Might as well cover all of his bases, right?
Untying his camel, he made sure it was all sorted out before he launched himself smoothly back into the saddle, and took off.

Saheen gave the other woman a small smile, and nodded. "Of course I will be careful, and you must do the same. I look forward to seeing you at the end of this." She reached out to give her shoulder a light squeeze.
"Until then." She murmured, and moved on, feeling a lot better then she had moments before, but only because she was now refusing to dwell on her problems, and focusing on the positives.
Like the fact that she was going to kick some a** in this race.
Retrieving her alpaca, she wrapped the tether around her hand and led it away towards the edge of the encampment, before swinging herself up onto it's back and riding it away.

- and then his attention was entirely drawn away by a very familiar face appearing in the midst of the crowd. Mengyao gave a small start, his stomach fluttering nervously, but he tamped down on this, took a small breath, and nodded to her as well.
"Lifen," he said. "A pleasure meeting you here."
He wished he could stay longer - longer meant being able to see her face, but time was short and he had to get on his journey. Mengyao reached out a hand and gently touched her arm.
"Call me if you need me, all right?" he said, and then, almost as though acting on instinct, touched her face before quickly retreating back to his horse.
"You may call me as well," said Mengyao to the newest arrivals. "I am Mengyao, and if you need assistance, please feel free to call on me."
And then he quickly disappeared.

A loud whoop signaled the arrival of another traveler. Merope pulled on his mountain goat's reins, nearly running over anyone in his way to get to the water. He had reached the water's edge before the undead slammed on his breaks, forcing himself to sit down. Merope looked at the water unhappily; he wanted to dive in so bad!
His mountain goat shoved him aside, moving forward in order to drink. Merope sighed as he followed suit, using his hands to scoop water first into his mouth, then onto his skin to rehydrate.
After a bit he dragged his mountain goat away from the water, leading it to the rest area before he began rummaging around the tents for additional supplies.
(( OOC: I have some errands to do, but I'll likely be around for the last couple of hours for this task if anyone else is last minuting this trial with me~ ))

A blush stayed on her face even after the man had left to continue his journey, placing her hands on her cheeks a little contently before looking around. She knew that if she hadn't returned to Rongmao, the bugger would leave without her, and, she made the decision to continue further.
Going to place her hands lightly on the arm of the new arrival, she gave him a little look, before murmuring a light."Enjoy your break, if you need help, my name is Lifen, feel free to ask for me." Before going to depart.
Once Liselotte returned with a handful of food, she grinned broadly at the group of travelers. They were all new faces, and she was happy to see them all without the shadows to get in the way. "Hey! Nice to meet all of you! My name's Liselotte... Sorry I can't stay and chat, but since we're all in this together... if you need me, I'll come running!"
Giving them all a jaunty salute, Liselotte climbed on Nana's back and pranced away. Hopefully she wouldn't get lost this time.

Hel waved off all the ones who came and went, probably throwing another wink and an all too much charming grin Finn's way as he left.
She then perked up as a new wave of travelers rolled in. "HEY!" She greeted them. "The name is Hel, and if you need assistance on your journey, just hail me, and I will come to your aid! I finished my own journey already!"
