"Well, if you can, just let Haloe sleep or... I don't know...." Luna smiled for a moment and placed her hand on the cave's floor, and brought it upwards having made a small ball out of stone, and handed it to Haloe. She walked to the entrance, concentrating with closed eyes, "Create a bit of light if you can, because your going to have about... a small few holes for air, and other resources...." This might take ten seconds....

Druids say they don't ever control nature, but work with it. Those who watch them, say differently. Luna took her powers creating the rock cave to start forming a wall surrounding the cave itself, leaving holes in the wall for breezes of air to move freely, also small cups for food and water to be stored. The rain had started to come down hard already.

Luna smiled slightly, almost limping a little as she started to walk away from the cave into the forest. There were those pups she needed to save, and a few bird eggs. If she had to kill an animal this night, it would hurt her for a long time.... The pups! She had lost track of time, soaking wet, and the pups whinning, she picked the remaining three up as two shots of lightning passed overhead. "Don't worry, your safe with me.... AchOO!" Luna suddenly sneezed, that was a first in a very long time, and started to head back for the cave, the eggs would not have made it, she knew that was positive.

Akemi swore as she looked up at the darkening sky. Apparently Avatre notcied it as well, for the gold dragon snorted, gathered her energy, and took off into the sky. The pair had to do this often when a storm was on its way, but this time Akemi had to stay on the ground while Avatre looked for a safe place to camp.

The elf turned to look at the group with her. "Uh... everyone, I don't know if you notice yet, but there is a pretty big storm coming in. Avatre has gone to look for some shelter, so we'll have to wait here intell he returns."

Arkayid sighed. "Bad storms are not uncommon around here. Its because of the destruction of the land. My mother can tell you more about it... I can't though so don't ask me. All I can tell you though is that was caused by Laos. By the way, anyone else notice that Luna was limping?"

"Ever heard of Lightning Rain?" Arkayid asked as he unpacked his traveling bag. As he rooted through the pack, one would find that he pulled out quite a few odds and ends relating to roughing it. Most of it seemed to be of elven manufacture, and that was confirmed as he pulled out a tent that seemed to blend in to practically anything, this time with Arkayid, the floor, and the fire.


"I've seen it before. I hope Avatre and Akemi know what the hell they're doing out there, if they had any sense, that dragon would've assumed a smaller form, and stay here. This is pretty much the best place you can be." Arkayid said. He unstrapped his helmet and removed it, and shook his head to shake his head crests, since most of them were crammed inside of it, next went the chest plate, which would've seemed to be a problem, since it had openings in the back for his wings. Apparently not, since the armor split in half, allowing Arkayid to pull the armor off of him from the sides. The rest was far simpler, since they just involved him unbuckling various straps.

"Towns can be wiped out by it. It's devestating to the land, and terrible in its power. Laos, when he had corrupted my mother, had laid waste to the land as well... These storms are probably after-effects of it."

The pups stayed close to Luna, not yelping or making any sound, but used her as warmth. Now she had to either find someone to take care of them, or she would raise them. Sneezing loudly again, she rubbed her nose listening to the conversation. Her limp was already healed, but stepping into traps wasn't that great, mostly since it was for a tiger. It was at least unnoticable, there would be scars since she didn't let it heal slowly, stupid idea.

Looking at the wolf pups, she noticed one seemed to be smaller and weaker than the rest, it was amazing that the runt had lived. Rummaging silently in one of her small belt pouches, she found a few peices of dried meat. It was funny how silent she was, but she was listening to how the runt was speaking, small words, sad, small words. She took a bite of the jerky, she couldn't feed it to these little one's yet, they didn't have strong enough teeth, they barely had their eyes and ears open.

((You know, you can make stuff happen to...))

Arkayid yawned.

"Eh, I'm bored. Seems that the Lightning Rain never showed up. I'm going to go look around. You guys do whatever." Arkayid put on his armor, the same way he took it off. Making an exit for himself took considerable concentration, but he was able to make a hole for himself and leave.


He had hiked quite aways from their... camp. Approaching a stream, he sighed to take a drink when he heard sobbing. His eyes traced to the source, a girl no older then twenty by the looks of it was crying. Her dress seemed to be torn as well, and now that he thought about it, her scent was a combination of smoke, ash, fear, and sorrow.

He moved quietly closer to her, wondering what was going on.


((There. Something happened. It's not that hard guys... 3nodding ))

The girl wasn't lost on the even quiet jingle of metal, and the subtle sounds of heavy boots on leaves. She seemed to have been bolted in place when Arkayid came out of the bushes seperating the two.

"Arkayid! It's you!" She gasped, and sobbed once again.

Arkayid knew the girl. A few times, Mother had to leave him with a village that had been spared for the most part by Laos. There he had played with the other kids. That was ten years ago. He wasn't sure why she recognized him.

"Yah, and...?" Arkayid said quietly. He approached her and sat down next to her.

"You know my village, right?" Arkayid nodded.
"We were attacked, by bandits. It was awful. I only managed to get away because I happened to be in the fields... They killed everyone, and the women--" She couldn't go further. Arkayid growled quietly, and it wasn't an elven's 'growl' but a dragon's growl. Even though he was young, he had been in enough taverns to know what goes on in raids. Alhana had done that so that he would know what the world was really like.

"Right. Do you know who did it?"

"No. I, I fled when it first started."

"Survival. That's all that counts, it seems these days Kayla." Arkayid took off his breast plate and removed his shirt which was quite large, and covered Kayla with it. She didn't complain, and Arkayid put the armor back on.

"Come, I know some others not far from here who can take care of you. As for me... I'll go back and either extract vengence or die trying." Arkyaid said quietly. She looked at him with wide eyes.


Arkayid and Kayla returned to the camp, where the others slept or did something else.

"Sorry guys, I don't mean to drop this on you, but this is Kayla. She was a villager of a town I was placed in for a few months while Mother went and did something or rather. Unless you guys want to come, I'm leaving you with her and going to that town... Raiders hit it, and apparently pretty badly too."
