Scrunching his nose experimentally it all seemed in working order. With a side eye to the shadowed openings he passed through the room into the one beyond. It still smelled nice in here, and that clicking was still audibile. He paced the walls of the room, listening intently but couldn't pinpoint the noise.

Something was here - that Jomei felt sure of. They moved slowly through the room, methodically examining everything that caught their eye. Then, they poked experimentally at the crates one at a time. As Jomei touched the last crate, something jumped out at them.

She started organizing the old wine bottles from the broken crates. It was something to do while she was searching. She sniffed one of the bottles that had been opened. It didn't smell good at all. She didn't usually drink alcohol so they did not tempt her, but she did wonder if she could use it to lure the beast out.

Sigrun had another bad luck day in the dungeon. It seemed she wasn't going to find anything in this room, so she planned to move on shortly. She wondered if there was a better way to train for things like this.

Nope, nothing there, not even an empty bag. Revel stood and stretched, cracking her back, it was sore work bending down and checking every nook and cranny of this place.

Zesty summarizes all she has learned about the room, from the clues on the wall and the clues on the ground. The smell of the room. The noises she's heard....the attempt at friendship that she's made...she feels like she's on the brink of something.

Something shifts, and the room lights up and the odor goes away. That's when Zesty sees it, the "monster" that's been purging this room.

Feeling quite unwell his eyes frantically searched for the way out- spotting the door across the room he ran for it, not noting the door at all other than it was something solid to put between him and the poor dead phox. This new room was steamy. Being well lit did not do it any favors as it made it all the harder to see. Wandering somewhat blindly he noted something shiny glinting on the floor. Stepping closer he peered through the steam, and cut his nose on a piece of glass sticking up from the broken lantern. Yelping he sat back hard. He was really, really, really not liking this place.

Koratta thought he heard something and spun around. Suddenly, he was pinned to the ground by a shadowy beast! Koratta thrashed and kicked and bit down on its arms.
