*L* I sound so awful really. "Yay my sister cancelled her wedding!" but it's a looooong story and trust me it's a good thing for everyone. I already have my bridesmaid gown but my younger sister who got married in Kuwait is thinking about having a "real" wedding when she gets home and if she does she's going to use Jenny's bridesmaids dresses. biggrin
Oh and today I got the news that my younger sister is coming!!! She was supposed to get out of the army in October but last minute they sent her to Iraq for a second year and she's just getting back to Germany now. *dances*
I'm going to have so many friends (and family!) there this year. mrgreen

This will be my first convention. I grew up in a really small town and my mom threw a fit if I implied I wanted to go anywhere out of town over night if it wasn't something she wanted to do.
I moved in with my dad and his house just so happens to be less then half an hour away. My group still plans on getting a hotel room.
Wonder what mom will say when she finds out I'll be sharing a room with GASP! Boys. Heehee.
When my friends invited me, they said they were all going as the seven sins from FMA...Since all female sins had been taken as well as all the sins I could get away with crossdressing as, I asked if I could be any FMA character. They said ok.
So if you guys see Riza Hawkeye trailing after Envy like a puppy, that's me with my cute coworker.
It seems Okama and I are the only ones who have our outfits...and everyone else has abandoned the idea sweatdrop I could have gone as Lust like I wanted, but I've already bought Riza's uniform and I'll be damned if I don't wear it now

Well, since its almost time for the con, time for me to make my dramatic reappearance to the boards....and sorry to all who were looking forward to Lord Canti, but he's not the costume of the year for me..it's just gonna be Rezo the Red.

*flail* I haven't been here in so long, I'm so bad~
I know I'm coming--my stepmother's friend Lynne said she'd kidnap me and take me up there if she had to (she just wants to go to that big mall in Durham and have an excuse to be up there). Rawk xd
I have no idea who I'm going to cosplay as, though... I've got a huge folderful of ideas and pictures, but I'm not even close to picking someone. I might remake the Sleazy Ghetto Alchemist from last year (Mum threw it away during the summer by accident xp ). Or maybe Koto from Yu Yu Hakusho, or one of the Heartless from Kingdom Hearts, or one of my original Sailor Senshi. xd I just don't know~!!

Yep I'm preregistered. A bunch of my friends got some rooms and we're all bunking up.
As for cosplay, last year I was Demitri Maximoff from Darkstalkers. Not a single person knew who I was, and the only photo op I got was from my friend's little sister and her friends who were getting cosplayers to wear a skirt and taking pictures of them.
This year, I am going as the main man Dan Hibiki. That's right ladies, the taunt-master himself. Pink gi and all xd

Mistress Bishounen I'm actually going to plan ahead for AZ '06 so I won't end up in the same situation as this year. My plan of non-procrastination action: making sure to pre-reg asap, getting a hotel room asap, getting a group to travel with asap, and starting to save up money once I get a Summer job, asap(wow,that's a fun acronym to say...). ninja So yeah, that's my game..err, con plan. No more procrastination for me. Hmm...I might go to Otakon this year, but it all depends on if I can get money and a hotel room soon enough. ( ^ quoted from the first or second page of this topic ) Wow...my plan like, totally didn't happen, which like, totally sucks. Getting a bit more serious... I haven't done any planning whatsoever concerning AZ '06, so I'll have to think of something asap. If money ends up being an issue...myself, an adult, and anyone else that might go will probably end up staying with my brother in Raleigh, and driving to the con each day. Hopefully that won't be the case, since I'd like to just get a hotel and not have to deal with all the extra traveling. I guess all thats left is to get plannning and find out whether or not I can pull this last minute stuff off.

Animazement always ends up with last minute planning for me. I'm now starting to get that "damnit I wish I could cosplay" feeling which is why I keep adding little things to what was supposed to be just my random kitty girl. She's still random but it went from getting ears and a tail to now possibly feet and paws (depends on if the girl I'm getting them from comes through), buying a new outfit, buying a wig, I'm thinking of getting my nails done and now I'm trying to decide whether to go black and red to match my doll (who is modeled after Gerard from My Chemical Romance so black and red is his theme) or go with blue and black instead.
Sure it started out simple. *L*
I wish I didn't have to switch insurance companies. My old eye doctor would give me a free sample of contacts since he knew mine were so expensive. If I could get those I'd be able to at the very least recycle an old costume. gonk

Heh. I planned ahead, and it doesn't seem to have had any effect. I'm still behind on making the costumes; I'd planned to be almost done by now....
Also plans might be changing for the kids' costumes. I do still plan on bringing their star wars costumes for Friday (dang it, I worked my butt off on those for halloween so they're going to wear them again scream I don't care if it's not anime). I was planning on doing Slayers for them too, but I'm not considering doing Lupin III for them because they've been on a Lupin kick. They love Castle of Cagliostro (and it's really funny listening to our 3-year old try to say that). But yeah, I'm considering doing one as Lupin and another as Jygen....
