He got himself some orange soda and poured a glass of water for Kaleb. "Here ya go." He set it down on the table before flopping back into his seat.

"Thanks," Kaleb said, taking the glass and drinking some before going back to his spaghetti. He poked the meatball into quarters, and then speared one piece on his fork after twirling on some noodles. He savoured the bite, he still hadn't been able to find any vegetarian meatballs that tasted quite as nice as the real thing.

He finished off his plate and skewered another meatball before leaning back in his chair to finish off his drink. He'd have to make sure that Reno didn't get any of his leftovers when he took them to work.

"There's lots more if you want," Kaleb said, still picking away at his own meal. He speared another quarter meatball and munched on it a bit, but he didn't pick up his pace at all.

"I'm good fer now .. gotta save room for desert." he had a whole tub of ice cream he wanted to eat hidden away.

"Desert?" Kaleb asked, twirling up another mouthful of spaghetti. It fell apart before it got to his mouth though, and he had to messily slurp up the noodles and then try and lick the sauce off his face.

He managed not to snicker at Kaleb dropping his food. "Yea .. got some ice cream that's just beggin to be eaten."

Kaleb blushed a bit, but not as much as he would have if Riley had actually laughed at him. He paused while trying to lick some sauce off the tip of his nose. "What kind of icecream?" He asked, and then continued his attempt to get the mess off himself.

"Cookie dough." He licked his lips at the thought of it. It wasn't as good as the stuff down at the ice cream shop but it was good and the almost frozen cookie dough pieces were tasty.

Kaleb finally got the last traces of sauce off his face and finished up his meal, and then stood up to take the dishes and leftovers back to the kitchen. "That sounds really good. Do you have a container you want me to put the leftover spaghetti in?"

"Umm yea" He got up and went digging around in a cabnit until he found a container big enough for all the leftovers. "This should be good"

Kaleb nodded, and went about putting away the leftovers. He set the container on the top shelf of the fridge where there was room, and where Riley likely wouldn't forget about it. Then he set to rinsing the dishes and putting them in the dishwasher so there was less to do once they finished dessert.

"Ya got room for desert?" He looked at Kaleb as he dug his ice cream out. His partner didn't a whole lot anyway so he might not be able to have any yet.

"Mnn... Maybe," Kaleb said hesitantly, glancing over his shoulder as he finished dealing with the dishes. He wasn't used to desert after dinner, so he hadn't considered leaving himself any room for it. "I-I could probably eat a little."

"Well i guess i'll get some then and you can share." He set the ice cream on the counter and dug out a bowl, a scoop, and two spoons. "That work for ya?"
