"Great." Dain gently picked up Lilly and stood. "I should probably clean up before we go." He set her down and picked up his plate.

Lilly wanted to get up and help but instead she pulled her knees up to her chest and just watched him.

Dain found the garbage and dumbed the bones and bits. He rinsed off the plate then turned to Lilly. "Should I just go ahead and wash it or do you want me to put it in the dishwasher?"

Dain put it in the dishwasher then walked back over to Lilly and picked her up again.

Lilly eased her grip and just snuggled up to him while he walked them to the bedroom.

Miki wrapped both her arms around Jenifers waist and pulled close gently. She wanted to both cry and scream for how lucky she was to have her but instead just kissed her.
