'Don't worry. I'll figure something out.' Lilly already knew what she was going to do. Her were form was the only way she could get there in a decent amount of time.

Lilly heard Cala come up the stairs and quickly turned her phone off and hit it under her mattress. She curled back up in the fetal position when Cala walked into the room
They had another talk. This time Lilly forced Cala to listen to her. Cala just shook her head and wiped every reason Lilly had for seeing Dain aside.

Dain laid in bed for a while and debated whether or not to shift. He knew it would help him heal faster but he also knew if was going to hurt like a b***h. He finally got up and stripped off his clothing. He took a big breath and bit his lip and changed. He collapsed on the floor in his were form. "********..."

After the screaming match was done, Cala slammed Lilly's door shut and stalked off.
Lilly curled up and cried. Why didn't she understand?

Dain crawled up onto the bed and laid there for a while. He was dreading having to change back.

It was rather late when Lilly finally crept out of her room. She snuck over to Cala's and waited. She heard her breathing calm down as she slipped into sleep. Lilly smiled and crept back to her room. She folded her clothing on her bed and opened her window. She changed and scooped her clothing up in her mouth before leaping out of the window.

Dain had drifted off for a while but finally woke up and looked at the clock. Lilly should at least be on her way. He got up and cringed as he started to shift again. "Goddamn ribs..." He slowly got up and put his clothing back on. At least he felt a little better.

Lilly wound her way through town, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. She was glad that it was late enough most people were asleep. She did upset a few dogs on her way over to Dain's though. Once she made it to the complex she hid under the stairs as she changed back. She slipped her clothing on as fast as she could and raced up the stairs. She didn't even bother knocking. She swung the door open and ran in calling. "Dain!"
