Lilly tried to choke out what she had been dreading to say since her fight with Cala. "Gran...she wants me to...if I really am...she doesn't want..."

Dain had dropping feeling in his stomach. He didn't want to jump to conclusions. "What? She doesn't want what?"

Lilly pulled back so she could look at Dain. The tears rolled down her face as she finally spit it out. "She wants me to get an abortion if it turns out I'm pregnant." She went back to sobbing.

Dain's heart broke. He couldn't let that happen. "No." He shook his head. "She can't force you to have an abortion. If you want one that's fine but there is no way I'm letting her take away our baby just because she's mad at me."

Lilly shook her head against him. "I know I freaked out earlier, and I know I'm way underprepared for anything of that magnitude...but if I am...I couldn't...I just couldn't do it."

Dain walked them over to the couch and sat down with her still in his arms. "We need to figure out how to fix this."

Lilly snuggled up to him and tried to get herself to stop crying. She needed to be strong for him. "I tried talking to her again and thats when she told me about the baby. We ended up just yelling at each other."
