Yeah, okay. I get that I missed the week I should have entered this avatar by about five bloody minutes, but if I get one more comment about how "Michale Jackson isn't a girl!!!1112312" I'm gonna dropkick a ********. He was a slender man - not like the bulky male base. AND SINCE YOU CAN'T SEE MY TITS THAT MAKES THIS THE BETTER CHOICE! GRAH!
I knew I should have thrown together a half-assed Rogue when the Masquerade evolved. Then again, it's not like changing my subject would make Gaians any less stupid... but it might piss me off less. stressed

I saw you in the spotlight just a few seconds after I rated yours, Xani! Is it still set up so the top-rated show? If so, that's pretty awesome.
And yeah. It's not like I expected, or even wanted, to win. But something other than "MJ isn't a girl! 1/5!" would be nice." At least I've gotten nice profile comments.
And I imagine I'll get those people bitching about ref images soon enough. I tried to find one, but all of the pictures with the red military jacket were when Michael had a jheri curl and there is nothing remotely similar on Gaia. And I wanted the red because the skipper coat has those big tuxedo tails.
I'd have gladly put multiple references if I could have, but the size limit is pretty small. MJ was an icon and I was trying to incorporate every iconic fashion statement of his I could think of. The fedora, the sunglasses, the military jacket, the loafers, the white socks. In concerts he often switched between a headset and a handheld mic. And Momo is as close to Bubbles as Gaia has. I think I'd rather have some comments on how Bubbles was a chimp, not a monkey, at this rate.
Well, I knew what I was getting myself into. I just made a knee-jerk decision when I clicked that submit button and only thought "Oh ********, what have I done?" five seconds later. gonk

I'm not sure if it's still top-rated... I think it might be based on "These people have received quite a few ratings in the past few minutes, so you should check 'em out!" ...but I could be wrong.  Still, that's awesome. 
I think the trick to multiple ref images is animation. The first week I put in my Darth Talon, I only used a static image. That week I didn't even rank. Second time, though, I had a rotating image and ended up in roughly 85th. Not a win, but a big improvement.

I, on the other hand, have been bitten by the steampunk bug.  EDIT: Now I'm so conflicted!  I already have an original outfit entered for next week, but I've gotten many good comments on this outfit... and don't know if I should switch my entry to this one or not!  (I must admit, the other outfit, while decent, wasn't eye-popping awesome, while this one, I simply love the colors and tones...)

Well, now. This is just uninspired. I started out trying to make an original Dragoon design and wound up as a pirate with a baby dragon side-kick. Godamned Albuquerque. I always make a wrong turn there.
Edit: Wait a sec. Wasn't there some wingly chick who looked kinda like this but in blue and white? Lenus or something? So LoD did manage to work it's way in there....
